Wonderful and friendly place to stay. A few minutes walk from the sea, shops, beautiful swimming lake and the town centre. I would definitely stay here again. Nelly was the perfect host warm, welcoming and friendly. Great short break.

The house is really nicely located within the city center of Kristiansand. Everything in the house is new or recently refurbished. The apartment has all the comforts and the host is always around when needed for solving problems.

Very cool experience in the middle of nowhere, perfect for enjoying the nature and the calmness. Nice forest around, we enjoyed the night view and the fogs in the morning:)

Thomas is very sweet and accommodative. Great overnight stay. Not too comfortable with the openly shared bathroom, but glad there's one private bathroom at the end.

Check in and information upfront was excellent and Alexander was responding quickly to our questions. The cabin was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and kitchen utensils was in place for whatever you should be cooking. The wire from the dining and living room as well as from the terracewas very nice. The area was good for kids to play in the snow. Checkout was easy and flexible.

We had the best time staying at Leila’s place by the beach. It was very comfortable and the view from the living room was so beautiful.

We stayed a total of four nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable right from the beginning. Overall, the outdoor and indoor area was very cozy and clean. The use of the barbecue hut was one of our highlights.

Fantastic place by/on the water with views of other nice boathouses from every window. The balcony to just sit on or fish from is an extra bonus. We had a really nice week, the whole family with two adults, two teenagers and an older child. Took several walks from Kystpasset, close to Bergen by car and rented Tommy's boat on a sunny day. The young people caught big cod on fishing rods that we borrowed. Tommy was helpful and responded quickly when we needed him. Can highly recommend this accommodation on Telavåg!

Lovely cabin in a great hiking area. The whole family of 4 (two teenage children) had a nice weekend of skis, snow and sun. The cabin was very cozy, practical and well equipped. The host responded quickly to questions. We would gladly came back here!

even for my Norwegian husband, this was an extraordinary "Norway mountain cabin" experience. everything about the cabin was fabulous--cozy interiors, wood burning fireplace, well equipped kitchen, big basket of games, lake, mountain and glacier views from a gorgeous deck. we hated to leave. And the hosts were very responsive to all our needs. I wish I could give this fabulous retreat more than 5 stars.

We had a lovely long weekend at Kristian's cabin. Location and facilities made it perfect for both small, large and four-legged. Would love to come back 😊

Great house and great location for fishing. Boat with plotter and sonar available, Ulf and Liv respond immediately and are always friendly. It is very positive that the fish catches are officially registered. We were definitely not visiting for the last time.

we had a great time disconnected from the world and close to nature while being quite close to the city . thank you again to this little family for hosting us.

Modern furnished house, with all the comforts. Games, toys and even a Playstation are available. The house is in a nice area. The bathroom was large, with a washing machine and dryer. A separate, extra toilet would have been useful. Upstairs 2 bedrooms and the space with a T.V. Please note: if you are tall you have to bend over to go through the bedroom door. The Wi-Fi is not reliable and went out regularly. The last stretch to the house is quite steep and can be slippery in the winter, so be careful driving! There is someone who clears the path snow twice a day with a tractor, or gravel to fight the smoothness. Lene was always quick to respond to our messages and was very helpful.

Tor & Lene’s cabin is the perfect place to call home while enjoying Setesdal. We stayed for several nights while exploring the region and researching family history. The cabin has hiking and active sports within walking distance and is just a short drive from all else you’d want to see and do in the region. It is cozy and comfortable with modern amenities—full kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi— while also having beautiful traditional touches, such as rosemaling, sheep’s wool throws, grass roof, and a wood burning stove. Tor and Lene were welcoming and accommodating, and explained everything clearly, making for a relaxing and worry-free stay. We would love to stay here again in any season.

We were a group of 18, where the youngest was 3 months and the oldest 89 years. The cabin satisfied everyone's needs, both big and small. One well-equipped kitchen, good play opportunities for the children both inside the cabin and outside. Great surroundings and hiking opportunities, also some history related to the cabin. Overall, super happy with everything! Recommended!
