We really liked our stay at Ella’s place, it was clean, had all the necessities, Ella’s communication was quick and helpful. Location was perfect, easily reachable, the ski resort was a few minutes away, also walking paces, cross ski paces, shop, lake, all within few min ride/walk. The whole family enjoyed the vacation and we hope to come here again next year for skiing or in summer for fishing.

Amazing place! Everything you need for a successful vacation! The villa is modern, in a quiet location and close enough to the services of Ruka. Everything is of high quality, and there are clear instructions for everything, and you don't have to think about whether the appliances are properly used. A stunning view that can be admired inside and out. It's going to make me feel thank you for renting a place like this. This place feels like a home where every detail has been considered. The best thing for children and adults was the sauna and bathe in the hot tub with stunning scenery! Thanks!

We felt very comfortable. The house is comfortably and cozily furnished. The fantastically located and equipped sauna house is shared with the owners, which is absolutely no problem. The whole property is well maintained and is beautifully located on a large lake. The view over the lake with northern lights is unforgettable. Exceptionally friendly landlords who go the extra mile. Jukka gave us very good tips for the area. We will be happy to come back.

Our stay at Arcticmint was an incredible experience, the peaceful and picturesque location on a lakeshore was mesmerising. The villa was beautifully appointed and spacious with all the comforts one could need but the star of the stay was our host Jaana, who was so caring, funny and dedicated to making our stay perfect, part of the reason we booked and we were so right in that decision. With experiences such as a delicious Finnish dinner cooked in front of us (whilst we we popping out to look at The Northern Lights) to forest skiing with her brother-in-law Kyle who runs ArcticFox adventures and had such an amazing aspect and passion for nature and the environment, to accompanying us on our snowmobile tour, Jaana was there making it exceptional. Every box was ticked on this Finnish adventure we could not have wished for more.

Heavenly stay at Tommi's !!! We've been here in March The scenery absolutely amazing as if taken from a fairy tale: Frozen lake quiet forest, peaceful and rural, secluded and intimate, perfect. All the facilities you need are there:Sauna (in the house and another near it, warm fireplace, good kitchen and more. We walked the frozen lake with snow shoes (Tommi gave us), we had some questions, answered fast by the host, even had some Aurora. In all: great vacation in Narnia. Thank you Tommi, we would love to come again

For a stopover or a few days, the place is perfect. The former Town Hall has been beautifully decorated and the rooms are very warm. Thanks to Ulla Maija and Markku for hosting us. We recommend for a couple or, like us, a family of 3, 100%. We hope to be back as soon as possible.

Very peaceful and beautiful place. Me and 2 friends had a great time, and I would love to return someday. It was a great cultural experience - We had a traditional fish dinner with them with their son and dog. We were invited to go snowshoeing, and communication was frequent and fast. We went in January. It was cold, but we dressed warm and kept the wood fire going all hours inside, so it was cozy, but certainly cold in the morning until you restarted the fire. We went snowshoeing across the frozen lake. The avanto (ice hole) was already cut and went ice swimming the lake after sauna everyday; Note, the wood must be resupplied daily to the sauna and cabin, and the water must be collected from the well and carried to the cabin. We chose to help as this is what we expected and wanted to experience. There is no wifi, but I was able to use my phone's data hotspot and create wifi network, and I was able to work remotely on my laptop with amazing internet speeds (40-50mpbs).

Wilderness Lodge Mökki Tikka

We had a great time in Mökki! Everything your heart desires was there. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful! In the middle of nature, we were able to relax well. The location is really great right on the lake (of course, that also means muddy paths in the forest during thaw, be careful when choosing a car). Supermarkets are about half an hour away by car. By car, hiking trails are easily accessible. Alexandra was very friendly in communication and was able to give us many tips! Check in/check out was hassle-free. We had a helpful contact person on site. The accommodation is very clean and tidy. The vacation there was definitely worth the price. Always happy to come back!
