Vacation rentals with breakfast in Northern Finland

Sirkka did everything to ensure we had a great stay. The accommodation offered was very warm and totally met our expectations. We had a great time.

This place is from heaven… We were lucky to be Natalia’s guests. The cozy lake house was amazing and every little detail was well thought. We walked on the lake with the snowshoes provided, enjoyed the saunas (yes, you can even choose which one to use), made fires and grilled food. We had the whole lake view to ourselves and enjoyed the tranquility. You can enjoy this place as a couple or as a group. Natalia was very friendly and answered all my questions in minutes!! Even the most stupid ones —if you’re visiting from a warmer climate you might also have tons of questions but don’t worry. Also be aware of the road, it has hard conditions but definitely worth it. Many thanks to Natalia for sharing their house with us and giving us the opportunity to peek through the Finnish lifestyle.

We were the first visitors to John and his wife and we loved our stay at their place. Everything was compliant, very clean, inviting, spacious and close to Rovaniemi. John and his wife took care of us, told us several good places to eat and walk around. It was our 3rd air bnb from our trip and by far the best. Thank you for your warm welcome, we felt at home in Finland. We hope to see you soon!

We had a very last minute booking and Stig accommodated us without an issue. Incredible hospitality. Stig was in contact with us the entire time advising on route and weather, and made sure to welcome us on the doorstep and show us the house. Breakfast was available for €15 extra and was delicious and convenient. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Would absolutely stay again 👌

Amazing place. We stayed for one night, but definitely worth staying longer. There are many activities to do right there on the island, and a couple National Parks within driving distance to hike or mountainbike. The house was very clean, had all the needed amenities and very well furnished. We particularly enjoyed that upstairs in the bedroom there is a window with a mosquito net, so that we could leave it open during the night and not get hot or have to deal with mosquitos. Has a sauna and the front door id right by a lake so can go for a swim whenever you want. Since we booked it last minute and didn't read the listing that thoroughly, I was very pleasantly suprised that breakfast is included! A very good deal! Overall it was a great stay and we are definitely staying here again if we are in the region.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! It was the perfect cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We especially loved the sauna and the private area outside where we could enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for our stay. The location was ideal, just a short drive from Oulu but still in a peaceful and natural setting. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Finnish countryside.

Very clean and stylishly renovated home. Extra points for an atmospheric fireplace in common areas, wood sauna, and grill house. Very hospitable welcome, and the host was very reachable and responded to messages quickly. I can warmly recommend the place, and we'll definitely be back!

Joel is a very friendly guy who has a very clean place. The bed was comfortable with a clean sheet and quilt. I had a very good stay there for 5 days. Joel also guided me regarding living in the Oulu city.

Marita was super nice and made me feel at home. Just what I needed after a long day biking. Had some bike issues the next morning and she was so helpful as I worked to resolve them.

This place was a total of 10! Just a stunning gem in the middle of Piel; beautiful landscapes, lovely buildings respectful of their time, clean, cozy, and most of all, peaceful. I'll come back and tell my friends. Messaging with Siri and Oskar was very effortless and the reception and care was excellent. :)

Ari and Nina are extremely nice people. Thanks to them we did a lot of activities on our own. We felt right at home. Ability to have breakfast with them when you get up early. Otherwise they prepare the table and we can manage. They even give us a spot in the fridge for our groceries. This is also an opportunity to be able to chat with them about our days and take advantage of their advice. Special mention for Ari's porridge☺️. The location is easy to access with a rental car and the setting is idyllic. Every morning the view from the window reminds us that we did not make the trip for nothing. My husband and I had a wonderful vacation and we thank them so much. We recommend Ari and Nina without a second thought and do not hesitate to book in all seasons. Make an effort in English as they have been making the effort for 3 years to welcome their visitors. Thanks again to them

My stay in Finland was amazing, and Ari and Niina were incredibly helpful. They made sure my friend and I had everything we needed, from recommendations to arranging rides when necessary. However, renting a car would have made things much easier. I didn’t have my license updated, so getting around was a bit of a hassle. If you can drive, definitely rent a car. If not, don’t stress too much. Ubers were available, and Ari and Niina could also arrange rides for 30 euros one way (60 for a round trip). The area itself? Absolutely unreal. The northern lights were out of this world. It is one of those things that you just have to see for yourself. No words or pictures could do it justice. If you’re planning a visit when locals are busy, including Ari and Niina, it’s a good idea to communicate in advance about any activities you’d like to do. This will make scheduling easier for both parties and ensure you get the most out of your trip. All in all, Finland was an unforgettable experience:)

Very cute B&B with direct river view. The cottage style rooms are cozy and breakfast was prepared especially for us on request- although we were the only guests at the time. The hostess was also extremely friendly, we had a quick conversation after breakfast. Unfortunately, there are few restaurants in the area (next to burger shops).
