Vacation rentals with breakfast in Northern Finland

Sirkka a tout mis en oeuvre pour que nous passions un excellent séjour. Le logement proposé était très chaleureux et correspondait totalement à nos attentes. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

This place is from heaven… We were lucky to be Natalia’s guests. The cozy lake house was amazing and every little detail was well thought. We walked on the lake with the snowshoes provided, enjoyed the saunas (yes, you can even choose which one to use), made fires and grilled food. We had the whole lake view to ourselves and enjoyed the tranquility. You can enjoy this place as a couple or as a group. Natalia was very friendly and answered all my questions in minutes!! Even the most stupid ones —if you’re visiting from a warmer climate you might also have tons of questions but don’t worry. Also be aware of the road, it has hard conditions but definitely worth it. Many thanks to Natalia for sharing their house with us and giving us the opportunity to peek through the Finnish lifestyle.

Nous étions les premiers visiteurs de John et sa femme et nous avons adoré notre séjour chez eux. Tout était conforme, très propre, accueillant, spacieux et proche de Rovaniemi. John et sa femme ont été aux petits soins pour nous, nous ont indiqué plusieurs bons endroits où se restaurer et se promener. C’était notre 3eme air bnb de notre voyage et de loin le meilleur. Merci pour votre accueil plus que chaleureux on s’est sentit comme chez nous en Finlande. À très vite on l’espère!

We had a very last minute booking and Stig accommodated us without an issue. Incredible hospitality. Stig was in contact with us the entire time advising on route and weather, and made sure to welcome us on the doorstep and show us the house. Breakfast was available for €15 extra and was delicious and convenient. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Would absolutely stay again 👌

Amazing place. We stayed for one night, but definitely worth staying longer. There are many activities to do right there on the island, and a couple National Parks within driving distance to hike or mountainbike. The house was very clean, had all the needed amenities and very well furnished. We particularly enjoyed that upstairs in the bedroom there is a window with a mosquito net, so that we could leave it open during the night and not get hot or have to deal with mosquitos. Has a sauna and the front door id right by a lake so can go for a swim whenever you want. Since we booked it last minute and didn't read the listing that thoroughly, I was very pleasantly suprised that breakfast is included! A very good deal! Overall it was a great stay and we are definitely staying here again if we are in the region.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! It was the perfect cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We especially loved the sauna and the private area outside where we could enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for our stay. The location was ideal, just a short drive from Oulu but still in a peaceful and natural setting. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Finnish countryside.

Todella siisti ja tyylikkäästi remontoitu kohde. Lisäpisteet tunnelmaa antavasta takasta yhteisissä tiloissa, puusaunasta ja grillikodasta. Erittäin vieraanvarainen vastaanotto, ja majoittaja oli hyvin tavoitettavissa, ja vastaili viesteihin nopeasti. Voin lämpimästi suositella kohdetta, ja tulemme varmasti uudelleen!

Joel is a very friendly guy who has a very clean place. The bed was comfortable with a clean sheet and quilt. I had a very good stay there for 5 days. Joel also guided me regarding living in the Oulu city.

Viihdyimme hyvin. Paikka oli erittäin hyvin varusteltu, siisti ja todella tunnelmallinen. Vieraiden viihtyvyyteen oli panostettu. Kommunikointi oli selkeää ja nopeaa sekä saimme hyviä vinkkejä paikallisesta luontopolusta ja ravintolasta. Meillä oli mukana kaksi koiraa, jotka viihtyivät myös hyvin. Pihasta pääsi suoraan rauhallisempaa tietä pitkin kävelylle. Suosittelen sekä lyhyille että pidemmille reissuille.

The room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Sari was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Marita was super nice and made me feel at home. Just what I needed after a long day biking. Had some bike issues the next morning and she was so helpful as I worked to resolve them.

Tämä paikka oli täysi kymppi! Aivan upea helmi keskellä Pielistä; kauniit maisemat, ihanat aikaansa kunnioittavat rakennukset, puhdasta, viihtyisää sekä ennen kaikkea rauhallista. Tänne tulen uudelleen ja kerron myös kavereille. Viestiminen Siirin ja Oskarin kanssa oli erittäin vaivatonta ja vastaanotto sekä huolenpito oli erinomaista. :)

Todella mukava vierailu! Ystävälliset ihmiset ja koirat vastassa. Aamiainen maukas ja sopivan kokoinen. Huone kuvauksen mukainen ja ihana päivän päätös rantasaunan löylyissä👌🏼

Sehr süßes B&B mit direktem Flussblick. Die Zimmer im Cottage-Stil sind gemütlich und es wurde extra für uns auf Anfrage Frühstück vorbereitet- obwohl wir zu der Zeit die einzigen Gäste waren. Die Gastgeberin war außerdem extrem freundlich, wir hatten uns nach dem Frühstück kurz unterhalten. Leider gibt es in der Umgebung wenige Restaurants (neben Burger-Läden).

Voin lämpimästi suositella. Paikka oli rauhallinen ja kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Anu oli ystävällinen ja kaikki toimi hienosti.

Ari et Nina sont des personnes extrêmement gentilles. Grâce à eux nous avons fais pas mal d’activités par nous même. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner avec eux quand on se lève tôt. Sinon ils préparent la table et nous pouvons nous débrouiller. Ils nous laisse même une place dans le frigo pour nos courses. C’est l’occasion aussi de pouvoir discuter avec eux de nos journées et profiter de leur conseils. Mention spécial pour le porridge d’Ari ☺️. L’emplacement est facile d’accès avec une voiture de location et le cadre est idyllique. Chaque matin la vue de la fenêtre nous rappel que nous n’avons pas fais le voyage pour rien. Mon mari et moi avons passés de merveilleuses vacances et nous les en remercions infiniment. Nous recommandons Ari et Nina les yeux fermés et n’hésiter pas à réserver en toutes saisons. Faire un effort en anglais car il font l’effort depuis 3 ans pour bien accueillir leurs visiteurs. Encore merci de tout cœur à eux

My stay in Finland was amazing, and Ari and Niina were incredibly helpful. They made sure my friend and I had everything we needed, from recommendations to arranging rides when necessary. However, renting a car would have made things much easier. I didn’t have my license updated, so getting around was a bit of a hassle. If you can drive, definitely rent a car. If not, don’t stress too much. Ubers were available, and Ari and Niina could also arrange rides for 30 euros one way (60 for a round trip). The area itself? Absolutely unreal. The northern lights were out of this world. It is one of those things that you just have to see for yourself. No words or pictures could do it justice. If you’re planning a visit when locals are busy, including Ari and Niina, it’s a good idea to communicate in advance about any activities you’d like to do. This will make scheduling easier for both parties and ensure you get the most out of your trip. All in all, Finland was an unforgettable experience:)
