Very nice and cozy accommodation that exceeded all expectations. Johan was helpful and accommodating. We had some great days in Kronoby!

Very comfortable and neatly sized place to stay for two. It heats up a lot when you can warm it up. A lot like that doesn't warm up in an instant, so it's a good idea to book 3-5 hours to warm up in the spring, and 5-10 hives. A big recommendation for this place!

The cabin was so nice! It was really clean, spacious, had lots of board games, and provided for a really fun holiday. The walk to the slopes was pretty quick (around 10 minutes) and the sauna was amazing for after a long day on the slopes. Also the loft is really cute and cozy! Definitely would recommend this cabin to my friends and family. And if I come back to ski some more, I’d definitely try to book this cabin again!

The place was a bit tricky to find but a nice man pointed us to the right house. Likely, we weren't the first 😅 The instruction manual was only in Finnish which was a bit tricky. Otherwise the place was amazing, very well situated. It was a pitty that the sauna was outside but it wasn't a problem. Shame that the heater couldn't get the sauna reasonably hot to about 90°C. It could also use a thermometer. The hot tub didn't work during our stay but Salla was quick to resolve it with a refund. We were 2 couples there which wasn't ideal but 2 people with children will have a great stay there. There were enough means to get yourself warm - sauna, floor heating, fireplace and AC. The place has no WiFi. The terrace has quite a drop to the ground - no issue for us because we created stairs from snow but during summer it must be a big drop.

Even though there was colder weather outside, there was good heat inside. Animals in the yard brought a nice addition

We are driving with 6 girls in Ritva's cabin and we had the time of our life everything was perfect. Ritva was always super accessible and gave us beautiful tips to explore the area. Even when we had a problem with our rental car, she helped to find a garage. This place was a 10 out of 10 when we arrived everything was totally cozily lit and chubby warm. If we go to Lapland again, we'll go back to this cabin. Thank you very much Ritva for everything. You're great ❤️

The stay was just what was promised. Very peaceful and beautiful place, well located away from the hustle and bustle but still close to the village. Teemu responded to quick messages and was friendly. The cottage has everything you need and the outdoor sauna got a good steam. Let's come again😊

Sanna was a great host and responds very quickly to enquiries. The accommodation was near to the main family area of the ski slopes. The accomodation was homely and very cosy. The clothes drier and sauna are a great bonus. We were pleased to have stayed in the valley in comparison to the main village. The valley is very quiet and had the lapland magic of cosy cabins (like this one) amongst snow covered spruce and pine, whilst still only being a gondola ride or short drive away from the restaurants and buzz of the village. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This cottage sits among the great trees of Rokuan, right on the lakeshore. A little answered so that you go down a wooden staircase to the bathing platform, which we liked and from the terrace of the house you have a view of the lake. The national park is at your doorstep, i.e. you can start hiking directly or cycling or cross-country skiing in winter... we liked it very much, the house is all you need, Juha welcomed us personally and was always available for questions! The second house next door didn't affect us at all, you don't see it from the patio and the guests were very considerate! (just like we hopefully). We enjoyed our stay very much!

Beautiful, well-equipped, fully renovated single-family home with no clutter. Very clear directions and great tips for local services with Easter opening hours. Sunny weather and the northern lights of the night sky crowned our very successful visit. Strong recommendation and big thanks to the host!

We spent a family Christmas in a clean and cozy cottage that was in a beautiful and peaceful location within convenient distance of Koli's services. The beach sauna for an additional fee was definitely worth the price. Check-in was easy and we felt welcome, Helena had even left us a tree with decorations and a Christmas chocolate!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful house! What a fantastic place to be, you'll have the entire house to yourself. The surroundings are quiet and quite beautiful. Marita and Sami are lovely and warm people. They will receive you when you arrive. If there is anything or you have a question, all you have to do is send a message and you have an answer. The house was very clean and provided with everything you need. There is wood for the stove which you can use. We have booked the ice fishing, the feeding of reindeer and the husky trip through them, these are recommended. The ice fishing is very nice because you do that with Marita and Sami. We enjoyed our stay with these lovely people.

The best place you can find in Oulu

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

Great place, only the outdoor sauna is missing

We had a very nice one-night trip. Pirjo warmed us up on a frost day at the lakeside sauna, so after a long skiing trip, we got straight to the sauna in the atmospheric wood sauna. The place was cozy and peaceful, and Pirjo was a friendly host who was easy to work things out with.

Mauno’s place was idyllic. Just as the photos and description but even better in our opinion. The Mökki is directly by the lake with swimming from the jetty or the small beach. The Sauna was lovely, with a view of the lake. Beds were comfy, the kitchen has everything you need. We picked berries in the forest close by. Perfect for families. It’s been our children’s favourite holiday. Mauno and his wife made us feel very welcome when we arrived and really respect your privacy. We would love to come back one day.

From April 21st to April 25th, we spent a very nice vacation in a clean and well-kept environment with my wife and Pipsa our dog.Harmed that the lake was still freezing and we couldn't get the boat on the water.This place easily accommodates 6 people at least and has a crib ready.Happy instructions for visitors in writing.Thank you Jouni!!!

Very good stay, a haven of peace and a magnificent view. The accommodation is convenient and well heated even in winter and has many accessories, lamps, chargers etc, it's perfect.
