We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Wir waren zu viert in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ilkka hat uns persönlich begrüßt. Das Haus liegt nahe der Straße und ist auch im Winter gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Sauna ist prima, die Betten bequem und das Sofa neu. Gewürze und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Ilkka hat uns Langlaufski und Schneeschuhe günstig organisiert und eine Loipe für uns gespurt, die hinter dem Haus losging. Polarlichter haben wir auch 2x gesehen. Alles war super unkompliziert. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.

Das Haus ist außergewöhnlich, wunderschön und direkt am See gelegen. Die Einrichtung ist natürlich, modern und mit viel Holz; wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Zu beachten ist die sehr abgeschiedene Lage; die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Supermarkt) ist ca. 15 Fahrminuten entfernt. Aber mit entsprechender Planung ist auch das kein Problem. Wir haben die ruhige idyllische Lage sehr genossen.

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

Erittäin siistit ja toimivat tilat. Hyvä varustelutaso kaikin puolin. Kylpyhuoneessa oli saippuat, shampoot, ja muutakin peruskosmetiikkatuotteita. Majoittaja oli hyvissä ajoin etukäteen yhteydessä käytännön asioista, ja kaikki kommunikaatio toimi erittäin hienosti. Koira oli matkassa, ja lähellä on mukavia lenkkeilypaikkoja. Suosittelen vahvasti!

Me and my partner really loved the stay at Martti´s place - the place was clean and cozy and very close to the Ruka Ski Center. The sauna heated up quickly, the view from the balcony and bedroom window was just amazing! Will definitely visit again and suggest this place to my friends!

Es war eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit einer tollen Lage gemütlich eingerichtet tollen Blick auf dem See und einem ausgesprochen guten Karma. Die Holzsauna und die Abkühlung im See eine wahre Erfrischung. Gern waren wir dort, ausgesprochen nette Gastgeber. Kommunikation hat sehr gut geklappt beim, nächsten Trip zum Nordkap dann wieder.

Todella kaunis asunto! Kannattaa ottaa jos haluaa majoitukseensa vähän luksusta! Silmä lepäsi ja sai kauniita valokuvia. Mutta vähän isompi kokoisille en suosittele sängyn takia; se oli pieni ja natiseva ja peittokin pieni kahdelle.

Mökki tosi siisti ja erinomaisella paikalla ja sieltä oli vaivatonta mennä rinteeseen. Eijalta ja Mikolta sai apua aina ja nopeasti kun sitä tarvitsi. He antoivat myös hyviä vinkkejä, mitä muuta tehdä, jos talviliikunta ei onnistunut esim säästä johtuen tai ei huvittanut. Revontulivinkit oli hyvät. Tämän mökin valitsemme jos toiste tulemme Suomulle.

Asunto tarjosi kaiken tarvittavan, ja keittiössä oli monenlaiseen tarpeeseen laitteita. Naapurusto oli erittäin hiljainen tähän vuodenaikaan ja saimme hyvät unet polkukisoihin. Sijainti Rukatunturiin oivallinen, hieman kauempana tapahtumien keskiöstä, mutta kuitenkin kävelyetäisyydellä.

Majoittaja vastasi viesteihin ystävällisesti ja osoitti joustavuutta. Sijainti mainio ulkoilun kannalta koska ladut ja talvi ulkoilureitit mukavasti 50m päässä Talvijärven jäällä. Kauppaan ja kylälle lyhyt matka.

Ihana mökki ja pihapiiri rauhallisella paikalla. Sauna tarjosi hyvät löylyt ja jokivesi kylmän pulahduksen. Pertin kanssa viestittely sujui mutkattomasti. Mahtava paikka rentoutumiseen.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Otso Lodge in Lapland! The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking—truly a tranquil retreat. The weather was also fantastic this time of year, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some fantastic activities close to the lodge, including a thrilling husky safari and a visit to a local farm, both of which were unforgettable experiences. It was also incredibly peaceful to simply walk around the area and take in the stunning natural surroundings. Overall, Otso Lodge provided us with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lapland!

Die Unterkunft von Ulla hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir am liebsten hier eingezogen wären. Die Hütte war sauber, gut ausgestattet (bis auf Bettwäsche/Handtücher, diese sind mitzubringen!) und hatte einen traumhaften Ausblick aufs Wasser. Ulla selbst war sehr freundlich im Kontakt und der CheckIn unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Kohde oli kotoisa ja puhdas. Omistaja vastasi viesteihin erittäin hyvin ja oli todella mukava. Ohjeet olivat yksinkertaiset ja hyvät. Kohteesta löytyi mausteita yms. käyttötavaraa, joka oli todella positiivinen yllätys ja omistajalta huomaavaista.

Staying at Marie’s cabin was everything we needed and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a peaceful fairytale — the kind of place you dream about when life gets too loud. Nestled deep in the forest, the cabin offered total tranquility, but without sacrificing comfort. Everything was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and filled with cozy touches that made it feel like home. Marie was a truly exceptional host — warm, responsive, and full of local tips that made our stay even more special. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience. We especially loved the wood-burning stove, the big windows looking out onto the trees, and the morning coffee on the porch with birdsong all around. Thank you Marie.

Hirsihuvila oli kaunis ja hyvin varusteltu, rantasaunassa oli upeat löylyt ja vieressä hyvät ulkoilumaastot. Meidän viiden hengen seurue majoittui tänne mukavasti. Yhteydenpito Jaakon kanssa oli sujuvaa. Suosittelen lämpimästi tätä majoitusta!

Aivan mahtava paikka, rauhallinen ja upeat maisemat. Lammen rantaa pitkin kulkien näki upeaa luontoa ja eläimiä. Saunassa todella hyvät löylyt, ei kannata lämmittää liikaa! Toisena aamuna yhtäkkiä kahvinkeitintä käyttäessä sähkö pätki, eikä keittämisestä meinannut tulla mitään, kun virta sammui joka kerta. On kiva mökki, suosittelen!
