Yurt vacation rentals in Northeastern United States

A very cool experience slightly off the grid. Great intro to Vermont and mother nature out here. Jonathan was easy to work with, helpful and kind. We only stayed one night and that was good for a space with an outhouse and no electricity in the lodging. The yurt was lovely. The stars were bright <3

I stayed at Angela’s yurt for Memorial Day weekend. It was exactly as described. My boyfriend and I had a very peaceful long weekend. The space was cozy and adorable and we especially loved the wood burning stove. Was a great stay, would definitely return and highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Hannah's yurt! The yurt was super cozy, and the sink and kitchenette were a great touch. Although the yurt is in her backyard, it felt like we had plenty of privacy. Great proximity to the White Mountains!

Overall, super cute and cozy yurt, with a short drive to the local downtown area and beautiful surrounding views! Notes: Be prepared for a separate bathroom and the shower is inside the hosts house not the yurt. I would recommend bringing your own flashlight for the bathroom at night since there is no light.

This yurt was...yurt-tastic! Seriously, it was such a cool place to spend the afternoon and evening and we 100% recommend. The host was fantastic, communicated immediately, and even left us a special message for our anniversary. The Yurt had everything you might need - full kitchen, bath, living area, dining room, lots of bedding, coffee supplies, etc. And the swing under the loft was fantastic, especially after it got dark, music playing, etc. The Yurt has large ventilation flaps you can open to help add airflow and Kelly provided a big fan which was great. The Yurt does get quite warm on warm days, however, so be aware of that. There is a small fire pit (which we did not use) - be sure to bring your own wood if you want to enjoy it. There is a large deck on the river side of the Yurt with slightly limited seating so if you really want to tap into the outdoor space then perhaps bring your own camp chairs, etc. We can pretty much guarantee you will not regret yurt-ing here!

Perfect little getaway!! Close to old rag and white oak canyon trails about 15/20 mins from Madison and Sperryville although not a lot to do in the town still a nice little place to grab dinner or coffee Everything at the yurt was awesome, we enjoyed playing monopoly and a small fire at night. For not having AC we were perfectly comfortable and even had to start a fire because it got so cold one morning Only downside was the drive way which I misunderstood how steep it was my brothers car stalled and thankfully we were able to make it up the sofa bed was uncomfortable but still would come back again for how peaceful it was there

Great secluded spot! Fall asleep to the sound of frogs in the pond. We had a family of Ravens flying over being very vocal and tons of butterflies. Yurt and Bathhouse were great. Bed could have been a little softer but its better than the ground or a sleeping bag. Was awesome having electricity, fridge, and other amenities. I would recommend bug spray in June. We would totally come back!

This was my second time staying here. I came five years ago with my daughter for a mother daughter trip and it was amazing so when my best friend and I wanted to have a girls weekend this was the first place I thought of and I was not disappointed by our choice! Once again we had an amazing time in this little cabin. What an absolute beautiful and place. The host Guy is extremely nice and welcoming. The best part of the experience is Sooty the farm dog that greets you as you arrive and comes to visit you during your stay. We honestly can’t wait to come back next year and make this our annual girls weekend getaway location. PS thank you so much for the eggs!

This place was an absolute dream. The hosts were quick to respond if anything was needed, but otherwise left us alone to enjoy the yurt in peace. It was quiet and completely private. The hot tub was a nice addition, we enjoyed stoking the fire and listening to it crackle while soaking in the essence of cedar. If you’re looking for a private place to stay off the grid, I highly recommended staying here!

Rachel’s yurt on Star Lake was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We fell asleep to the calls of loons and the chorus of peeper frogs, and woke up to the stillness of the lake just outside our door. The yurt is cozy and well-kept, perfect for unplugging and soaking in the serenity. A truly relaxing getaway.

A great stay with our two kids. It is way bigger than you’d imagine and even on a rainy day we had a good time. Super responsive host and well appointed with beautiful surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

A true yurt - no running water or electricity so not ultimate glamping, but a lovely setting and spacious abode.

We LOVE to stay at this yurt! It’s very peaceful and relaxing. One of us loves the star gazing and the other loves the trails so there is something for both of us! I highly recommend a stay here when you are in the area!

My kids (8 and 11) and my husband and myself with our dog spent a few wonderful nights at Gisela’s peaceful yurt in the woods. It was thoughtfully set up, and had everything we needed for a peaceful Spring getaway. The sound of and view of the waterfall right out the front door of the yurt was breathtaking. We lucked out to be there while the trout lily’s were blooming! So many wildflowers and mossy magical areas on the property. We all agreed we would love to return to this lovely place in the future!

Had an amazing long weekend at the Tree Yurt. The place was easy to find and very clean and organized upon our arrival. Amy was a great host and even included a guestbook with thorough instructions on how to use all the amenities, along with recommendations for hiking and exploring the city of Portland. This is a great "glamping" destination that we’ll be sure to visit again.

Douglas was a fantastic host. He was extremely responsive and accommodating, and his property was beyond gorgeous. We will absolutely be staying here again!

We had a truly amazing stay at the Scarlet Yurt! Milena was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host—she greeted us upon arrival and had already explained every detail beforehand so clearly that it felt like we had already been there before. Everything mentioned on their Airbnb page was exactly as described, if not better. The place was well-prepared, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the heart of nature, I 100% recommend this location. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and recharge.

We had the best weekend here! Paul was so responsive and helpful. We enjoyed having the option to go down to his brewery and hear the live music or just hang out at the yurt / by the campfire! It was a quick drive to Kennebunkport too. We would love to come back, it was awesome!

If you're looking to unwind in a cozy, warm, bigger-than-it-seems quaint yurt look no further! Fish's yurt was a pleasure to visit. The hosts, Tracey & Christopher, we're exceptionally welcoming and a pleasure to spend time with. Our dog, Millie, had fun meeting & playing with the other dogs, Squiggles & Arthur. We also enjoyed walking in the neighbourhood, taking in the beautiful scenery, and a day of ice fishing on Seagull Lake. 100% will visit again!

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. The place was incredibly cozy and comfortable—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up. It had this peaceful vibe that made it easy to just slow down and breathe for a while. Whether it was the quiet of the woods, the gentle sounds of nature, or just the way the space was laid out, it all added up to a really relaxing, almost transcendent experience. You can tell care went into making this place a true getaway. If you’re looking to unplug, reset, or just find a little peace, this yurt delivers. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
