Shipping container vacation rentals in Northeastern United States

This was our third stay at one of Porter’s shipping container cabin and probably our favorite. The field was so peaceful to watch as the grass moved with the wind, and the little bedroom window was the coziest place to watch it all from. Even with crazy downpours the night before our departure, we were enchanted with the cabin’s location and comfort.

Love the place, deff felt like a unique experience. David and neighberhood friends were amazing! I am very grateful to have lived this experience and look forward to visit again soon.

Porter and Sara were wonderful hosts—warm, responsive, and attentive throughout our stay. Their cabin was the perfect cozy escape from the city, ideally located near countless stunning hikes. We couldn’t have asked for a better mountain getaway.

What a wonder weekend away! This property was beautiful, quiet, and everything we needed for a weekend get away. We enjoyed a peaceful fire, explored downtown, and just embraced the slower pace. Porter and Sara were amazing hosts, they were quick to respond, checked in with us to ensure we had everything, and overall created an amazing space. The hot tub was tricky but once we figured it out it was great! If you are looking for a more rustic/glambing environment then this is the place for you!! We will definitely be back!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! The home was just as stunning as in the pictures—clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature, which made it the perfect escape. Emma & Justin were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed taking a walk on the trail right off their property, and the evening fires were a highlight of our trip. We also had some fantastic meals at the local restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway!

Peaceful Retreat in Nature I spent one night in this unique shipping container in the woods, and it was such a peaceful, refreshing experience. Waking up to the view of the trees through the windows, watching them gently sway in the breeze, and breathing in the crisp, fresh air was pure bliss. The space was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. It felt cozy, quiet, and perfectly in tune with nature. Highly recommend for a serene getaway.

We loved it and had a great time there. We were able to get a great nights sleep, enjoy the beautiful yard and the beautiful scenery. We would definitely stay there again and are already looking at dates later this summer. Thank you again Greg and Michel.

Overall our stay was awesome! The host leaves a clear instructions and expectations of what the stay will be like. Clear communication and even offered to extend our check out if needed.

This has to be the best Air Bnb I have ever stayed in. Above and beyond. Brett was very attentive and helpful! The design of the property is stunning and everything there was well thought out and engineered to not waste an inch of space. Extremely relaxing and beautiful location to get away! Will be staying again!

Staying at Sweeney Pods was an unforgettable experience! The space was awesome for our group of gals and had so many spots to chill and eat and hangout. The cozy, well-designed pods provided the perfect blend of comfort and privacy, the mattresses were comfy and individual fans were a great addition. The location is ideal—just a short drive to Niagara Falls and wine country and convent for us to go on a wine tour. Hosts Jason and Tracey were incredibly welcoming, making the stay even more special and they were quick to respond and help when we needed additional things. Sweeney Pods offers a unique and delightful stay. Highly recommended!

Very responsive host , friendly and cooperative. Was there for New years and it was amazing ! Few things were missing at check in , communicated and was able to bring them next morning !

I was camping in VT and our trip got cut short by a day due to rain but we didn’t wanna go home yet. We decided to stay somewhere more unique with a tiny house vibe and this place was the spot! Grateful for the late check in and check out during our stay. Donna met us in the parking lot and showed us our spot. She was very kind! They also have a wonderful property with a water front restaurant that has brunch too. Would highly recommend this place for a nice cozy evening :)

The place is beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. We were able to bring our Gracey Girl who had an amazing time with all of the smells in the secluded location. We were able to explore areas in town and Bar Harbor. Yes, it was a 45 minute ride to Bar Harbor but it didn't feel like it and to be able to come back to the beautiful home in the peace and quite was amazing. I was paranoid about the electricity, being off the grid, but there were no issues even though we had a couple of cloudy days. The wifi worked well too, both streaming TV and for the little bit of work I did while there.

Kimberly’s place was exactly how it’s pictured, the container home was clean, and even though it’s a shipping container it was still roomy, they utilized every inch of the space wisely, it’s modern and clean. The outside area was very peaceful (even considering it was memorial long weekend) plenty of dock space to fish, fire pit was nice, the surrounding area is a bit industrial and rough looking, but everything you need is close by (grocery shopping, gas station, restaurants). Kim was awesome to deal with, she responds soo quickly, even came to the site to help with a small issue with the heating (nothing wrong with the heating it was a operator issue lol) overall would recommend this place to anyone, and we plan on going back some day.
