Earth house vacation rentals in Northeast Italy

There are no words to describe the beauty of this place or the hospitality of the family taking care of the house. We stayed here for a month and had the most wonderful time. The house has everything you need, the terrace is a great place where to hide from the sun and the garden with the pool is just amazing. BTW, the pool is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The family working for the host are the most welcoming & kind people. They threw an incredible welcoming party for all the guests - dozens of self-made pizzas, local wines, prosciutto.. Moreover, they even organized a wine tasting in a local vineyard in Villa il Pozzo. I could continue forever with this review, but the most important thing is that we felt welcomed, loved & still had our privacy & we made friends for a lifetime here. As per the location, it is in a lovely small town with a little shop, 1 bar and 2 restaurants. The town is located near Florence and many other small & incredibly beautiful towns & villages (that are definitely worth visiting!)

Ds Rustico is exactly as described. It has everything you need - we think. The upper floor with the view into the attic is great. Marta is a wonderful host. The reception was very warm and personal. We are grateful to have met Marta and to have been able to stay in her Rustico. For our dog, the fence (the wall) was not high enough. But no one could have guessed that ;-) Behind the house, a deer visited us one day. Beautiful. Equally beautiful: watching the sunrise from the bedroom.

We stayed in this house for 4 days with 5 people plus a 3-year-old boy. Very nice house, defined and accessible spaces, very large and welcoming garden. Elevated location with beautiful day and night view. Alberto and Vania are very kind and helpful. I recommend it!!

We had a wonderful stay with our four children and our dog at this peaceful and scenic place. The view of the sea is absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed the nearby hike down to the beach. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for the kids to play both indoors and in the garden. We also appreciated the great location, with good restaurants nearby in Plomin and a bit further in Labin and Rabac. A perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway!

We really enjoyed our time in Suzi's house. The house has an incredible amount of charm, it was very clean (I'm fussy), the location is wonderful and we felt extremely comfortable. Also the neighbors have always greeted kindly. Only small downside: since it says "heated pool" in the listing, we thought it would be a little warmer. But all in all, our vacation was perfect, very relaxing and we can wholeheartedly recommend Suzi's house.

A beautiful place to get away.

Saró welcomed us personally and it was like visiting your best friend. The Casa delle Rose is a sweet little house in a fantastic location. In front of the house there is a beautiful vineyard, in the middle of which there is a small fountain. The tranquility is magnificent and the loudest noise is made by the birds and the small stream in the valley. A visit to Agriturismo Le Noci is absolutely recommended! In front of the restaurant, you are greeted by the unique view of the Prosecco Hills and the food of Donata, served with a smile by Gloria, tastes great! We'll definitely see you again. 🙂

A beautiful house and location, with all the facilities you need. Very friendly host who met us on arrival and was always available to answer any questions we had, the house was clean and tidy inside and the private garden & pool was so peaceful. We had a lovely dinner in their restaurant and were made to feel so welcome, if we return to Metato we will definitely stay here again!

We had a great company retreat. It was very comfortable.

We are very mountain lovers and wanted a house in the woods and this farm exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful, exactly as you expect a real mountain farm, surrounded by meadows and woods, immersed in peace and quiet, secluded but at the same time only 800 meters from Castello Tesino easily reachable on foot. The interior is furnished in an essential but very cozy way. Violante is a very kind and very helpful person and also Marco, who welcomed us, made us feel immediately at home. In Violante, a special thanks for your generous offer, we will definitely meet again, we hope as soon as possible.

Montefegatesi is a very well-kept town. Alessia's house is really well kept and the surrounding landscape is enchanting. It is an ideal accommodation for a retreat in the peace of nature. From Montefegatesi, there are several well-marked routes, even for non-experts. We'll be back!

A clean, cozy apartment in a beautiful location. Very good contact with the Caregiver, clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen. You can find everything you need. Highly recommend :)

We really liked our vacation in this house. What attracted us the most was the location, because we were far away from other houses. No one bothered us and we didn't bother others either. The house is big and spacious. The owners were friendly and flexible. We had to leave the house one day earlier, due to work commitments, which was not a problem for the owners, even though we informed them about it one day earlier. Unfortunately, we had a very strong storm one night with strong winds that broke quite a few props, but we were comforted by the correct and friendly response of the owners. After the storm, the owners cleaned the pool and the surrounding area in the morning, while we were still sleeping. In short, I recommend the house to people who would like to relax somewhere alone.

A place that has remained in our hearts, for the beauty of the place, the originality of the rooms, the tranquility of the area, the goodness of the breakfasts, the friendliness and the excellent welcome of Claudia and Fabio... we could not have wished for anything else! Our child fell in love with all the animals, especially the rabbits... I really hope to be able to return...

The 200-year-old house, renovated to modern standards, stands on city walls from the 15th century. It has a great historic and cozy atmosphere. It is wonderfully cozy, the kitchen is very well equipped, the bed very comfortable. Luca surprised us with fruit, cakes, vegetables, drinks, limoncello, pasta and more. We wouldn't have had to shop for several days. 3 wonderful terraces overlooking the Apennines awaited us. The design of the rooms is based on history, but is also modern and practical. Thank you for the gift! Pennabilli itself is fantastic: art, nature, culture, restaurants, bars and small shops. Pure "modernized" Middle Ages. Communicating with Luca was a pleasure. We will be back, no question, and highly recommend this accommodation to all couples. Thank you for everything, Elisa and Luca!

Beautiful experience, we wanted to spend two days relaxing and we couldn't find anything better... in the middle of the greenery with fantastic and sweet animals. Even the goat stayed with us to be cuddled like a dog... Claudia and her husband are fabulous. Very kind. They offered us an aperitif in a very pleasant company. Super breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The location of the home is beautiful, the view of the castle of Badia a Passignano and the vineyards. The kids enjoyed the yard, there are animals. The house has its own patio with table, barbecue, beautiful nature. The position is also great for visiting Florence, San Gimignano Siena, Pisa. I recommend for visits better to visit small places nearby than going to Florence or Pisa. Bianca and Alice were always available and available on Whats up. Even the pool was open even though it couldn't really get warm in the sun. Great for a family vacation. Thanks again for your hospitality.
