Kingsize bed & shower en suite

The Roade House Hotel is a family run hotel just south of Northampton, near the M1, which was a great place to stay with my son for one night en route to a local festival. Easy to find in the small village of Roade. Rooms comfortable and clean and the food was excellent. Paul, his family and Steve go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the dinner and breakfast were great. Lots of options with their own twist on popular food and drink, such as waffles and smoothies. Lots of outside seating if the weather is good. It was very useful to use their EV charger which was not expensive at all. Their is a yoga studio if that's your bag. Paul was very responsive on Airbnb with directions and other information. Paul, his family and the staff work very hard to make your stay enjoyable and would highly recommend.

I have recently retuned from a stay at Roade House . I stayed with my Mum and brought our dog and electric vehicle. I had contacted Paul before arrival and he ensured that the charging point was available for me and dealt with a small query I had. The accommodation was perfect. Paul was extremely helpful - he was friendly without being over familiar and created a really lovely relaxed atmosphere. The room was great - beautifully decorated , spotlessly clean and plenty of space. Mum and I enjoyed a really good evening meal from the on site restaurant sat outside with a G & T which was a lovely end to our day. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back

The Pheasantry

BethanyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The Pheasantry was absolutely the perfect place for us to stay. We loved the hosts especially, along with the beautiful space. We felt instantly right at home and loved the peaceful garden. The neighborhood was a great place to walk around and explore and we loved the trail skirting along The River Nene, where we found plenty of swans and beautiful scenery. It was also a good spot to drive from to reach many other locations that we visited. Couldn't say enough about the place and the wonderful hosts!

Cobbler's Cottage - peace and seclusion

JackieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A haven of calm! My stay at Ruth’s was wonderful. Immaculate accommodation with a stunning view where I could relax yet easily reach local attractions/facilities if needed. Ruth provided everything you could need to make a stay. Toiletries, a choice of coffee, tea and even biscuits in a tin. They far exceeded my expectations. The microwave, toaster and fridge are useful if you want to make a small meal/snack. Ruth was the perfect host, on hand if needed but gave me my own space. She is super friendly. The breakfast was amazing, beautifully cooked with such a choice of options. I most definitely will return, in fact I can’t wait!

We were thrilled to be welcomed into Caroline's gorgeous cottage. It had everything we could need plus more and exceeded our expectations compared to the photos. Caroline couldnt be more helpful and was a delight to meet. Thoughtful touches throughout the house made it such a special stay - including a fresh-baked loaf of bread, butter, home made marmalade and a delicious jam and cream sponge cake. Plus we had the joy of seeing the wysteria starting to bloom. Charming in every way. We would definitely stay again given the chance.

A property with lovely character, very clean and tidy with a cosy living room. The back garden has a beautiful view overlooking unspoilt fields. Mike and Jill are very thoughtful, I had to check out a day early due to personal commitments, but would have loved to spend another night in the property as planned.
