Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Northam

This was our first time in Bude and we’ll definitely be back! Shaun’s house was exactly what we were looking for - it was clean, tidy, modern - & warm, which made it feel lovely & cosy on a very wet Good Friday! The garden was well kept & completely enclosed which was perfect for our two dogs. The location was so quiet & peaceful & it was a very easy 15 mins walk into Bude. We walked so much - down the canal, along the coastal path in both directions, and down & up Clovelly! There’s lots of places to eat & drink, we tried Life’s a Beach, North Coast Wine Lounge, Mirchi for an Indian takeaway, The Barrel (whilst waiting for the takeaway!), The Rustic Tea Garden/Sip & Sea, & The Mermaid for fish & chips - all were first class! I could write so much here but there’s just not enough room…! Don’t hesitate to book this house, you honestly will not be disappointed - and ask Shaun anything, he’s so responsive & friendly - thank you Shaun!

We had a great stay at the house. Really comfortable and spacious. We were 2 x families of 5 plus a dog and the house was perfect. A short walk into Bude which is lovely. Very convenient to be near Morrisons and the shops. Thanks Anna and Sally, we hope to return one day.

We had a wonderful family get together here. Lots of lovely local walks. We had a dog and it was perfect for him. The kids loved having their own space which also gave the adults some rest bite. We cooked two big meals everyday and found everything was provided for us to be able to do this. The garden area was great on sunny days. People have complained about parking in previous reviews but honestly we had no issues and we had three cars!

The house was clean and bright with clear instructions on using the facilities. Its within walking distance of the village and the beaches are an easy drive away. Zoe was available, friendly and responsive to my messages. The local shop around the corner from the house is also a plus!

Hallagather Farmhouse was a very successful find for our family Christmas week. It fitted us all in nicely - 6 adults, 4 pre-teen children & 2 dogs - all had lovely bedrooms with an en-suite or dedicated bathroom - plus one downstairs. Plenty of open space downstairs and a huge kitchen with the Aga keeping it warm all the time. The wood-burning stoves kept us all cosy when not exploring the short walk down to the beach and Combe Barton Inn, the coastal path, Tintagel, Padstow & the local beaches etc. Becky provided a Christmas tree and was a good host. I'd thoroughly recommend Hallagather - it certainly suited our three families & our pets!

Lovely quiet caravan on a quiet private park. Our kids loved the little play park that we did not know was there. Beach and town is a short drive away. Great to have little things like a fresh carton of milk, soap and washing up liquid.

Such a lovely place to stay! Matched the description and photos. Harriet was very responsive and helpful. Setting was lovely and close to all the amenities. We would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed at Jackie's place multiple times to visit family and enjoy North Devon. It's a great location with pleasant views and in a quiet neighborhood that's only a short walk to Lidl and the town. We can't fault it, especially when the weather is gorgeous. Jackie is a thoughtful, responsive and gracious host. We look forward to our next visit to this comfortable and convenient flat.

A great little apartment only a few minutes walk from the seafront. Lots of space and beautifully clean Don’t be put off by the surroundings, you are just a few minutes walk to the main attractions and beautiful harbour. Great to have off street parking below the flat. Brilliant host, really responsive and flexible on check in. Thank you so much Louise for a wonderful stay.

Had a brilliant new year break at Helens apartments, the whole apartment was decorated to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen fully stocked with everything you needed, the lovely open plan kitchen diner living room with large sofa and chairs was perfect for our two small families to gather, had lots of really good information from Helen about the area, which was very helpful. Everything is right on your doorstep nice short and long walks, shops, pubs and restaurants the car didn't leave the car park. I would highly recommend the apartment and am looking to return ourselves for another stay.

This is a great, well-equipped, central Woolacombe place to stay. I would not recommend it during high season if you don't like noise as it's right above a restaurant/bar, but for off season it's perfect. The view is spectacular and it's easy to walk to numerous restaurants, the beaches and the local shop. The host communicated well - the instructions were clear for locating the property, check-in and check-out - and she was easy to contact. We didn't have any issues, but it felt like if we had, the host would have responded quickly. Her messages were also were friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful apartment. Ideally situated within 5 minute walking distance to shops/beach front. Views from the apartment were spectacular, I don't think you could beat them anywhere else in Woolacombe. Lovely clean and comfortable space. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed here for a wedding at Tunnels Beaches which was less than a 5 minute walk away so ideal location! Kirsten was very friendly and was easy to contact - replies were instant. The property was lovely and had all amenities you needed. There were lots of thoughtful little touches like toiletries you may have forgotten and dog towels should you bring a four legged friend! It can be a little hard to find the property, as it’s tucked in, but Kirsten provided clear instructions which I would follow over the sat nav. A wonderful couple of days - thanks again.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped apartment with amazing views of the bay from the large patio windows and balcony. Adie is a lovely host, thinking of everything to make it such comfortable accommodation. We have just returned from our third visit and hopefully it won’t be our last.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay, spotlessly clean ,uncluttered and with everything we needed. Perfect for myself, my daughter and her baby, we really appreciated the peace and quiet of the area. The apartment was light and spacious with wonderful views over the beach and estuary, lovely to wake up to . Lyndsay was so helpful and communicated everything we needed to know so no added stress added to travelling with a 9 month old ! Thank you.

Had a lovely stay at Topside. Viki was a perfect host leaving out a box of Cornish biscuits, milk, tea & coffee and some lovely wild flowers. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable & homely stay and Viki had thought of everything. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood but only 5 min walk to Bude town with all its restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops and beautiful summerleaze beach. We look forward to booking again in the near future

Great flat with easy access to everything in the centre of Woolacombe. Short walk to the beach (even with a surfboard!). Free parking. Easy to find and get access to the property. The flat is on the 3rd floor, but there aren't many steps and easy enough to get up there without any hassles. The flat is light and airy with good sized bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area. Nice touch with tea, coffee, milk, cereals and biscuits on arrival. Great communication and fantastic host will definitely be visiting again!

Hosts were really responsive and helped out with changes to dates. House was incredible and location was stunning. Really quite location and easy reach of all amenities. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Thanks to John and his team

Had a fantastic time at the Neet. It really was a perfect place to stay especially if you are visiting Bude. We brought our 2 dogs and the garden was a great place for them to stretch their legs, fully enclosed and huge. On arrival, Lisa met us and explained everything, we also had fresh eggs and scones. The place was spotless, cosy and had everything you need from an Airbnb. Highly recommended !
