Monthly Rentals in North York Moors

Absolutely lovely little place very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, location fabulous for exploring the Yorkshire moors and coastline. very well equipped only thing was Internet goes of at 10pm until 8am. which means no TV after 10pm, we felt 11pm would be better, if your watching a film it just cuts off. apart from that fantastic loved it. Margaret was lovely.

We had the most wonderful time at The Cake Store! It was the perfect place to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, as it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing and super well-stocked for everything we needed for lots of home-cooked meals in. It was also in a great location with the pub, shop, and the loveliest plant nursery a short walk away down the hill into the village. My favourite part was enjoying morning coffee sat at the picnic table overlooking the fields and valley - simply perfect! Would highly recommend Ally’s lovely accommodation to anybody - thank you!

What a find! A beautiful holiday home in a stunning location, we had the perfect 4 days here. We were 2 adults and 2 children (1 and 4 years), the barn was all on one level and so perfect for us with small children, it was beautifully decorated with all you could need. The location was just perfect - right on some stunning walking routes - we didn’t need the car at all, could easily walk to Goathland, Grosmont, Egton Bridge etc where there were pubs and places to buy supplies. We walked circular routes each day - about 10km and had so much fun, lots to do to and see (spot the steam train, stepping stones, quirky bridges…) as we walked which kept our 4 year old entertained - we had a proper adventure. Also went to Whitby for the day on the steam train by walking to the station at Grosmont and back via Goathland - a lovely day out. Thank you, we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night. We wish it could have been a bit longer. We enjoyed the extra goodies and snacks etc. that were waiting for us on arrival. The view out of the lounge and bedroom windows is fantastic. The house has everything you could want on your stay. We spent our day in Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. Both lovely places and well worth the visit. We would definitely return again and thoroughly recommend staying here.
