Beachfront vacation rentals in North Troms

We were very happy at Bente's place. Bente was there to greet us when we arrived (at the time of our choosing after the check-in time), and explained everything. There was also a really good book explaining things but we then only needed to use that as a reference as Bente had already explained it all. Bente has also been very easy to communicate with electronically - very responsive and proactive. The cabin has a very private setting on a beautiful shoreline, and has plenty of windows to let in the light and lovely views (exactly as per the pictures on Airbnb). The cabin was very well kitted out - it had everything needed; for example, the kitchen was really great. We were also very grateful for the use of the snowshoes, and the children loved the sledges and Bente pointed out a great hill beside the house to use these on. We'd definitely hope to return if / when we return to the area.

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We had a lovely stay here and it was all we could have asked for. You can see the sea from the hut the view was beautiful. The accommodation was warm and the host provided tea and snacks which went down a treat after the long drive. If we ever come back we would stay here again.

Its hard to overstate our enjoyment staying at Andreas’s cabin. This is a beautiful location about 25 minutes drive from Tromso. The cabin is welcoming and private. The views are spectacular. But even more, Andreas defined an excellent host. He had the Sauna on when we arrived, always attentive, friendly and proactive. We ended up driving down deep into Finland to see northern lights because of snow and clouds in Tromso. And in no small part because Andreas was so helpful in advising and guiding our choice and timing. Far and away our best Airbnb experience. We’d love to return some day.

very warm and cosy renovated barn in a beautiful remote spot. the fire was lit for our arrival and really keeps the place warm. we had to change our plans a little as the avalanche risk was too high for ski ing and we really appreciated Tone's flexibility - thank you! Takk!

My family and I felt comfortable in Gammelstua from the beginning. It is very cozy, located below the road alone on the water, yet is still central. Tromsø and the airport can be reached in twenty minutes by car, halfway we bought in the supermarket "Eidehandel" and ate in the associated canteen. There is plenty to discover on Kvaløya, for example, you can ride dog sledges. When we arrived, there was a snowstorm, but Siv and her brother took wonderful care of the driveway and answered our questions about parking right away.

The accommodation is located within walking distance of downtown in a really cozy area. Rebecca was very helpful and accurately described everything. The apartment is well-equipped and really cozy, I couldn't have imagined anything better.

The place is wonderful and extremely well located. Views are amazing! Ski, sledge, hikes, all by the house. It was so nice to have cross country skis and sledges available in the house. Nellyhuset is very cozy. Big living room and very well equipped kitchen. Nice and conformable bedrooms. Jan and May-Lis are very welcoming hosts. All the family had a wonderful time! Tusen takk!

Kvalöya Lodge is one of the nicest places we've ever had and Ketil is the nicest and most caring host you can imagine. We especially enjoyed the view of the fjord, the evening fireplace, the northern lights and Ketil's tips (Husky tour with Active Tromsö, reindeer herds (they like carrots by the way), Sommaröy, Eidel Handel (great supermarket for self-catering), Söstrene Kafé in Tromsvik). We ended up with a lot of snow - fortunately the country road is well cleared 24/7. Snowshoes and spikes are at guests' disposal.

Words will never make justice to what we felt at this house. When we saw Bergsfjorden from the upper part of the road, we understood where we were landing. This place is magical. Inside and outside. The bad part was packing and leaving those windows full of joy behind.

Just wow! We loved the house, the location, sauna and hot tub! It’s beautiful and peaceful. Hans is a very nice host, helped and explained everything. We had the best time and hopefully come back one day. :)

My friend and I have chased the aurora around various parts of Northern Norway for photography five different years and stayed in many Airbnb's while doing so. I'd say Hallgeir's beautiful and spacious place is right up there in quality. The place was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The location is wonderfully positioned for daytime and aurora photography, with North Northeast to Southern exposure and some unique compositions right on the property. Save for one bright light NNW towards a mountain, you have a large view area to see the aurora. I bet the summer and fall hiking is spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again.

I was allowed to stay at Bjørn's Airbnb 2 years ago and fell in love with the house and surroundings. I would claim that Bjørn owns one of the nicest Airbnb on this platform. But not only the house and the breathtaking view of the fjord but also the extremely friendly hospitality of Bjørn makes this place so special.

We spent 3 wonderful days in Anders' place: the peace, the location and the wood-fired hot tub make this place amazing!

Stunning place, responsive host, panorama view over the fjord. Many nice tours in the area. Great access to both 24/7 supermarket and a sauna in the harbour. Warmly recommend

The place was very easily accessible from the city centre. it felt like home at the apartment. Jenny was really helpful and always available if we needed any assistance. The surroundings were really good. Most of the places were at a walkable distance from the apartment. We would definitely recommend Jenny's place for a nice cozy stay if anyone is travelling to Tromso.

The space is amazing. The apartment is on the 8th floor and is built out into the sea. There is a stunning view from the balcony and living room. Requests were always answered very quickly. The documents to find the accommodation, as well as the description where the PP and apartment key is were great. The apartment was 100% in line with our expectations. Our son is wheelchair user, the apartment is highly recommended for wheelchair users We would like to thank you very much for letting us stay at this great place.

We had a lovely stay in Mathias’s home. The flat looks just like the photos, and it’s a quick and easy 10-15 minute walk to most shops, restaurants, etc in central Tromso. Conveniently located to the wonderful Vervet Bakeri nearby. Would stay here again!

Had a great stay in Tromso at Charlotte’s place. The apartment was perfectly clean and within walking distance of all the sites downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Sam’s apartment was just as described. It’s large and beautifully decorated. I went as a family of 5 ( 3 young kids) and the place offers all that we needed. There’s also a playground below but we didn’t go as it was winter. Super market is right round the corner and the balcony offers a great view of the river. Sam was responsive host and provided useful info.

Great Location, easy to Access. Very new and clean. We would come back any time.
