Vacation rentals with a fire pit in North Dorset District

Lovely place with great amenities. Ideal for family gatherings and our 2 dogs especially were very happy with the outside space. It is easy to drive into Poole which has a good shopping area and lovely quayside. There were lots of good walking areas nearby and a choice of local park runs! There was a good space for the dogs to sleep off the utility room. And a well equipped games room in a former garage though this was rather cold at this time of year. I dare say some form of heating would be provided if requested. But we spent most time outside enjoying the garden space.

We had a wonderful stay in the lodges while visiting family in the area. Andrea was incredibly helpful from first communication and just the loveliest, most accomodating host. The lodges are idyllic and situated in lovely surroundings with nice walks. We will not hesitate to book again.

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. This is a spacious, immaculate property. The kitchen was very well equipped and the furniture was comfortable, as were the beds. The outside space is amazing and ideal if you have children who want to play outside. My daughter, and her family who have stayed in many holiday rentals, say it was the best ever. A delightful overnight stay with my daughters and niece. A lovely home in which we chilled and relaxed after a busy day out and about. We loved the house had a real ‘feel’ about it, lots of personal touches, their home felt like ours for a night. Also loved the ‘environmental / sustainable’ cleaning products/loo rolls etc Very convenient for our needs and we hope to come back again. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Thank you Annika

A lovely, relaxing couple of nights stay. The Coach House has all you need, is warm and cosy and very comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the duvets really warm and cosy. The garden is very private and a lovely feature, and for anyone staying in warmer weather has everything you need to spend plenty of time outdoors. If you're looking to keep your steps up, try a walk round the lakes, lots of bird life, very interesting. The lighting system took a bit of getting used to but is very ambiant and well thought out. The kitchen has plenty of space so you can cook and chat. It would have been good if the oven had worked but we were told about this beforehand and provided with an airfryer so could work around this quite easily. The host was always quick to respond, kept in touch and made our stay very easy. I would recommend The Coach House for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. All the quirky little touches make The Coach House quite unique and we would definately return.

What a great place to stay! Mark’s house is lovely, really well appointed and very comfortable. The location is beautiful and there are fantastic walks by the river. We were lucky to have fine sunny weather and could make full use of the garden and all the various spots to sit and eat. Thank you Mark for an excellent few days!

I went for the Easter long weekend with my mum and friend. Anna is super lovely and made the whole stay great. It was self check in but she was available over message and very responsive. The flat is super clean, comfortable and spacious. We had treatments at Annas salon (massages and facials) and we all agreed they were the best we ever had. Couldn't recommend enough!

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by our lovely hosts.. The location is fantastic with good restaurants, an incredible harbour and miles of white sandy beach within walking distance. The novelty of staying on Sandbanks added a unique interest .. we loved it 😊.. Thank you Madeleine, Michelle and Nick for your warm hospitality 😊 x

David and Pamela were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 1 night and all went as well as the description stated. Thank you for your hospitality and would recommend staying at their apartment. Easy parking and close to town and amenities.

Had such a great stay at Carole's place. She was an incredibly friendly and helpful host, who even gave us a whistle-stop tour of the surrounding area and dropped us off at a lovely pub. The property was cozy, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed playing the board games provided and really appreciated the beautiful fresh flowers provided. Thanks so much

Thank you Ruth. We had a lovely short stay. It worked brilliantly for us. After a long and wet walk at Lulworth Cove we took advantage of the lovely warm fire. Relaxed and watched a movie. Great memories.

We loved our stay on the bus. The bus was lots of fun, especially the driver’s seat and stairs. The setting was lovely and camping facilities were great (hot and clean showers). The farm shop over the road was great and plenty to do nearby. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was so clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub was fantastic. The beds were so comfy (and I am super picky about this). The location was great, we had such a great stay, my daughter did not want to leave.

We had a lovely break away, the accommodation had everything we wanted and as described. It was easy and quick to walk into Bath centre while being in a very quiet street. Would recommend.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

This is a fantastic little find for the New Forest. The studio itself has character, charm, and everything you could need for a short or longer term stay. Easy to find everything, and most of all, a lovely cosy comfy bed. Alison was a warm and welcoming host, who provided a list of recommended restaurants in the area. Responsive to messages, couldn't have asked for better. If I'm ever heading back to the New Forest area, I'll definitely be looking up this property first!

what a lovely stay! Great communication throughout from Amy, making us feel very welcome. Hunters Barn was exactly as we thought it would be, in a lovely setting with friendly animals. And beautiful inside. Wish we could have stayed longer. Amy's little touches were a lovely surprise too, and the box of toys left out for our son to play with was another added bonus and very appreciated. Pleasure staying here.

We had a couple of nights at Sue's lodge. it was very cosy and comfortable . The surroundings were peaceful and quiet with just the horses in the fields. Lyme Regis and other seaside towns were close by and lovely to visit.

We loved our stay at the cabin in the woods. Peaceful surroundings and a beautiful cabin. A perfect location close to quaint villages and the New Forest National Park.

Wonderful stay. Sam was very responsive and accommodating. Cabin was warm and cosy with lots to do locally. We were a bit apprehensive about the outdoor shower in the final week of October, but it was a great experience! Thank you.
