Had the loveliest stay here. The place looks even better than the photos, and is super tastefully done, with lots of character! A lovely cottage, the perfect base for a stay in Bruton! All the little touches and help for things to do around the area were super thoughtful! The whole family loved the place, would return!! 10/10

We loved our stay here. The place was cozy and had everything we needed. Location was perfect - very convenient for exploring Bath. Garden was a bonus - Kids enjoyed watching the chickens. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area!

It was the perfect place for our young family and dog. Lots of space and peace and quietly whilst being close to the Jurassic Coast. Andrea was a fabulous host, very friendly and happy to help at all times. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay on our way to Cornwall and the setting is just stunning. Our toddler enjoyed paddling in the stream and feeding the alpacas and our dog loved the freedom of being of the lead. Everything was clean and comfortable and it was great sitting and eating on the patio overlooking the garden and wildflowers. Highly recommend!

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

Had a lovely three night stay in Acorn hut. Spacious and very private outdoor space with a hot tub for relaxing. Bathroom facilities were clean and shower was great. The hut itself was cosy with everything you need for a few nights away. Big enough for my partner and I as well as our large greyhound. The host was lovely and helpful with advice about places to go and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

A great place to stay for families and groups. Super quick responses, loads of info provided in advance and useful links to places in the area. Lovely house and so much to offer for the young and old - our group ranged from 5 years old to retirees and we all had a fab time. Everything was lovely and clean and well maintained. Andrew & Jo made us feel right at home during our stay. We loved our whole trip, especially the pool, quiet setting, and HUGE tv in the living room perfect for movies.

This is our first Airbnb stay, also our first stay taking our dog. Having read and turned down a number of other Airbnb places the ducks wing seemed to fit the bill (no pun intended). The garden is lovely and secure, the rooms are extremely quirky which we both liked, our dog loved it. We didn't make best use of the many facilities including the pool, BBQ etc. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the countryside. As I've said our first experience with Airbnb but we were very impressed.

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

Beautiful little cottage tucked away but close to the village. Garden was perfect for me and my dog. The steep hill up to the garden didn’t phase us as the view was worth it with open fields and horses behind. Vanessa and Bruce were very responsive and friendly, they kindly accepted my booking on short notice. I didn’t want to leave! Would happily stay again.

This is a beautiful spot which has lovely walks nearby and some amazing walks at local attractions in particular Alfred’s tower - our dogs loved it and so we were able to relax !comfortable accommodation in a beautiful old building the bedroom in particular is gorgeous

Beautiful setting and a beautifully built log cabin. Peaceful and tranquil. Well worth the money and we will return in the future. Visitors need to visit the anchor inn in seatown for lovely food and drinks

Thank you for another fantastic stay in the new forest with our two boys, and this time with our puppy too. We loved being back in Peny Bun, surrounded by forest, so peaceful and private. It was lovely to spot deer and rabbits and roast marshmallows in the fire pit. Can’t wait to be back again.

I stayed for a few days to attend a wedding in Glastonbury. I was able to access a gorgeousgarden. If it wasnt for the weather I could have easily sat outside to eat my meals. The inside was perfectly sourced. a great kitchen that was modern and easily kept clean. A lovely shower room with gorgeous fluffy towels. There was even a tv with a built in cd player and a huge selection of excellent DVDs. The kitchen did not have a cooker or a sink. But there was a stove stop, airfryer and bowl readily available. Parking was safe and easily accessible. Shops were a pleasant 15 mins walk away. The extra addition of the 3 dogs was a joy to me. The hosts were lovely. Friendly and respected my privacy AND my late hours coming home after the wedding. I definitely want to go there again xxx

We had a wonderful stay at Higher Blannicombe! The cottage is beautifully kitted out and has everything you could need for your stay. The cookies on arrival were a lovely touch and we really enjoyed the other free snacks! The views from the cottage are amazing and we loved waking up to the rolling countryside. Phil was a fab host and made check in and check out super easy. By far the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at!

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Glebe Farm Cottage has been simply perfect during my nearly 2 month stay this May & June with my cocker spaniel. It has everything you need for a relaxed break; incredible views, sunsets, local walks, an alfresco bath in the private gravel garden with lashings of hot water to relax in & listen to the birdsong & the buzzing of the bees. You can lie there sipping your favourite wine and enjoy the utter quiet, interspersed with the occasional air display from nearby Compton Abbas airfield. The village is gorgeous, ducklings on the pond, handy coffee and essentials vending machines tucked just 50yards away from the cottage for you & walkers who visit this lovely place. Tessa has been the perfect host, touching base when needed & providing the softest linen for the most comfortable sleep imaginable. The cottage is wonderfully laid out and decorated & I’m definitely taking some house & garden design tips to my new home. Thank you, it’s been fabulous.
