Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in North Cowichan

the condo is centrally located to many downtown attractions. the sky train is very close by, which was an added convenience. we were not granted an early check in and used the Blenz Coffee located near the condo to store our luggage until we could access the condo. This was convenient, but costly. housing security is an issue in all of the downtown area. while there were many folks who appeared to be under the influence of substances, we still felt safe and for the most part, they did not interact with us or our teenage daughters. I would recommend the condo for those who want convenience and cost effective travel. we were a reservation of 5 and had plenty of room in the condo. the two bathrooms was excellent. there were 6 bath towels provided. if you require more, pack some. there were also no pool towels available. if you're using the facility pool, perhaps throw some in so your bath towels don't double as pool towels. we enjoyed our stay & would recommend this condo.

Really the best place we could have stayed. we were on a Spring break vacation with little kids. right next to stadium Chinatown stop and Costco. only one stop to science world and 10 minute walk to water taxi to Granville Island. we will definitely stay again and especially for sporting events

We were so happy with our stay here! The check-in process was really easy and the building felt extremely secure. Everything was very clean and the unit had a really nice view of the city. Great walkability and close to everything we needed. It was a quick ten minute walk to nearest train station to hop around the city, and we had a lot of great restaurants to chose from nearby. Our favorite breakfast spot was Marulilu Cafe, just a quick 15 minute walk away. The host was very responsive and helpful! We highly recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again next time we come to town.

We stayed for 9 nights and it was exactly what we were expecting in a city stay. The apartment had all the basics, there’s a grocery store less than one block away, the amenities were great, and the neighborhood felt quite safe too. Parking was secure but tight for my mid-sized truck but that’s to be expected in a parkade. Many thanks!

Hulya and Muzo’s place was perfect! I truly appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment; it was absolutely spotless—definitely a 10/10! The hosts were incredibly warm and accommodating, making the check-in and check-out process feel effortless. Their thoughtful recommendations for local activities and dining options were invaluable and really enriched our stay. The location of the apartment could not have been better! It was conveniently situated near transit lines, offering easy access to a wide array of delightful restaurants and charming shops. Coming from a bustling city, I was pleasantly surprised that the outside noise didn’t disturb us at all. In fact, it felt just like home. I can't wait to return and would certainly book again the next time I'm in town.

Ayla was very helpful letting us into her place. The on site parking is a big plus in busy Vancouver. From there, we were easily able to walk to restaurants and the water. We took an Aqua Bus to Granville Island and back. Ayla’s place was clean, attractive, and comfortable— a great spot in a fun city.

Me and my family really enjoyed staying at the property. It was close to everything and everyone we encountered in the building were very friendly. We also loved how close the subway and grocery stores are to the apartment.

The Airbnb was a great spot to stay. Me and my friend needed a place to stay for the weekend in Vancouver and Cindy made us feel welcomed as if it’s our own home. She was a great host, very easy to communicate with, and cares for her guests. I arrived earlier than my check in, and Cindy made sure to help accommodate me with whatever I needed. The host in all in all was great. The Airbnb was a great place to stay at, beautiful view. Was in downtown which made everything walkable. Airbnb is very clean and fitting for families who are visiting that need a place. Overall a beautiful Airbnb that’s affordable and amazing host I don’t see a reason why you shouldn’t book it if you are thinking about it. Thanks Cindy once again!

This location was amazing! Right beside the seawall path and walkable to most things to do. Host was great, we have a young child and he made sure to help with a travel crib and was extremely responsive. He was there to help. Will stay again! Thanks, Kristen

This Appartement was awesome. Super central and easy to find, we felt very comfortable straight from the start. The Appartement was clean and tidy and as described in the pictures. We were able to see everything by foot or public transportation. We recommend to stay here and would come back any time 😊

We had a great weekend in Elise’s place. It was very clean, pet friendly (our dog loved her first visit to Canada) and in a secure building located within easy walking distance to pretty much any location in the city. There are a ton of bars, clubs, and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, which is great, but something to keep in mind if you’re more sensitive to noise.

We had a wonderful time in Vancouver! The apartment was in an amazing location that made it easy to get anywhere in the city. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. Host was very responsive. We would stay here again!

We loved out stay at Robby's place, which we booked for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. Lots of other people had hosts let them down for this, but Robby was kind, responsive, reliable and just fantastic all through. The beds are comfy, the views are spectacular, and we really enjoyed everything about being so centrally located.

Our stay in Vancouver revolved around a Canucks game for our family. The location is amazing, easy walk for any sporting events or concerts at nearby venues. Plenty of restaurants in the area or a short walk away. We parked our vehicle and didn’t need it for the duration of our stay. We entered our Airbnb and all of us thought the same thing - wow! A wall of windows, created a bright cozy space, ample room for our family of 5. We would definitely book another stay the next time we plan a similar trip to Vancouver.

We had a fabulous time with our kids at Andrew’s house, it’s situated in a lovely quiet setting with a balcony to take in the magical views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, to enjoy our stay. We had a short walk to the beach and lovely walk in the forest. All local shops within 5mins drive in Parksville and would also hugely recommend the Parksville community park for the kids to burn off energy. I would hugely recommend The Mount Arrowsmith Brewery for lunch , great service .

Awesome spot! The location is absolutely stunning — super peaceful and feels like a proper escape. The spa was a real highlight — great setup, super clean, and perfect for chilling out after a day of exploring. Would 100% stay again.

We (2 adults and 1 child) really enjoyed our stay at Joel’s place. He was very responsive and kind. It was a quiet stay even though it is under a residence. Location was good too - about 5-15 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. We would recommend to friends and family!

Exceptional! Everything this place has is rare even outside of Vancouver. Very private, close parking for luggage, and great location. The garden is beautiful too. The space is also just well thought out - good luggage closets, actually good art (rare on Airbnb), and good appliances.

It was lovely and had all appliances and amenities a person could need. The area is brilliant with a rec centre and restaurants and groceries a walk away. Lovely neighborhood!

The terrific kitchen/appliances even improved my cooking! Parking is off the road so it is important to refer to instructions, but it therefore has very safe, ample parking and privacy. It is well set up for large gatherings, retreats, gourmet cooking classes, etc, with kitchen, pool, hot tub, sauna. Has wonderful panoramic views of lake — changing light, scullers and crew boats.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage north of Qualicum Beach. The property was perfect for our young family, and the hosts were absolutely fantastic. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool area. The resort features a small hot tub with a mild temperature, which was ideal for our young kids. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen items and beautifully decorated, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was a nice, quiet resort and property, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would love to come back again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly vacation spot!
