Don't hesitate, stop and enjoy Christine is a great person, very welcoming, very friendly, very attentive, a TOP hostess Despite catastrophic weather, we felt very good in this beautiful house, comfortable, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, frankly like at home Very good quality bedding, everything available (bed linen, towels, coffee, cleaning products, even sauces in the fridge, etc.) Beautifully sized rooms, with a bathroom (jet shower) Need we say more? Oh yes, the large garden and the beautiful terrace, where, despite the weather, we were able to have an aperitif. It went very well. Jacques was kind and welcomed us very warmly. He told us places to visit and gave us a very good homemade jam.

Super ! Our parents were delighted with their weekly rental. Ideal for exploring the region and enjoying meals together at the cottage. The cottage is large and convenient, perfect for 2 couples or a large family, with or without animals! They'll probably be back.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!

An amazing property in a peaceful location. Erica and Dave welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately and were on hand for any help we needed. The renovations are to a high standard and make for a comfortable and well appointed stay. The pool is massive. The covered outdoor areas are great for when the weather isn't behaving itself and the hot-tub is perfect to relax in. Plenty of towns and villages to explore nearby, with La Rochelle and Bordeaux not too far away. Lots of "vide-greniers' in the area to visit on a Sunday when most other things are closed.

A short stay at Marlene and her husband's, but it went very well, they were very nice and welcoming. The kids were in heaven with all these animals. Will definitely be back. Thank you and see you soon

Also, although we were not able to meet Dominique,we spoke by phone and message ,she was always very responsive,gave good advice and available when needed! Thank you for a very relaxing stay. We found the gîte to be exactly as described, with all the amenities needed. The area is very pretty and we enjoyed exploring for the few days we were here. Peaceful and pretty area.

Hi, Joëlle is very responsive to communication, she responds quickly to any questions. The accommodation is very well located, between Collonges la rouge ( barely 5 minutes by car) and Turenne ( about 10 minutes by car). The accommodation is clean and well-equipped. The exteriors are very nice, with a beautiful sunset over Turenne. There are also children's amenities, ping pong table, badminton rackets… The place is very nice and quiet and the hosts are very kind and available.

This is a lovely quiet property in a private rural area, but has conveniences a short drive away. I was in the area for a wedding and this place was ideal. Jeanine is very welcoming and friendly and her communication was very helpful.
