Private suite vacation rentals in Newport

We can’t say enough about how grateful we are for Linda’s hospitality. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. She’s a warm and gracious host who genuinely cares about her guests—and it shows in every thoughtful detail. Our dog absolutely loved exploring the beautiful grounds, and we loved waking up to the view of the pond and fresh coffee. It also happened to be my birthday during our stay, and Linda surprised us with birthday treats—such a kind and memorable gesture! She truly goes above and beyond. Her home is perfectly located near Watch Hill and everything Westerly has to offer.

Enjoyed the quiet and convenience.. has a simple routine of return to nest each time i came back to room. If i may suggest, perhaps can swop the bed with the couch (foldable sofa) as if its a studio/1 bdr apt.. (very adequate for single/couple) think works too if treated as 2 rms, as the second room space is more flexible.. To be fair, this being Brown Commencement wkend, the prices not representative year round.

This is the second tie we stayed at Linda's place. The place is extremly clean, comfortable, and had eveything we needed for our week's stay. Linda lives in a another part of the complex, so we saw her quite a bit, she is very friendly and was helpful in making suggestions about places to see or resturants nearby. Her place is dog friently. The yard was perfect for our pups, a large back yard that is completely fenced in. Ours dogs had a ball playing with Tucker, Linda's new pup. we look forward to staying at Linda's place in the future.

Gwenda and John’s home is absolutely beautiful and we had a fantastic stay there during our wedding weekend. Gwenda was incredibly kind, responsive, and left clear and helpful instructions. The location is beautiful and walkable to everything Bristol has to offer. The fridge stocked with snacks was an added bonus and a very thoughtful touch. We felt right at home and can’t recommend them highly enough!

Great place to stay for a weekend. Room was comfortable and clean. Convenient walk to restaurants around Newport.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a thoughtfully and beautifully decorated suite!We have friends in the neighborhood and recommended that they put up visiting friends and family here any time. We look forward to returning in the future!

There was no kitchen but the apartment above was available but Fran did not tell that it could have bee used. Overall a great place, location, and host.

Amazing vacation spot. Margaret and Mark are perfect hosts—super helpful and great communicators. Beautiful spot, gorgeous landscaping, and very cute (and super clean) apartment. Great access to beaches and restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for more. Hope to return!

Dulci was a great host. Very responsive and helpful. The place was as described. It was actually better than expected. Location is great. Close to restaurants. Highly recommend.

We only stayed for one night, but I wish we had been able to stay longer! It was clean and cozy with a beautiful view right on the water. Cara was responsive and provide clear instructions for check in and check out.

My family lives in the area and I personally love the neighborhood, the peaceful area for walks and fairly close to the long bike path, which is great for a run. The house is nicely laid out with a nice bathroom etc. We were there with our two boys, 6 and 9 - we set up the air mattress up stairs with the other bed, which worked well for us.

Great little place to base yourself in the locality. Very quiet with no disturbances, just birdsong. May well return next time we’re in Rhode island

If you want to nestle in a beautiful country home sitting on gorgeous grounds, stay at the 1780 guesthouse! Jackie is the sweetest and most friendly soul. The entire upstairs is yours to enjoy. I loved my morning walks along the neighboring country roads. And, boy, does she make the best blueberry bread!

Matt was a wonderful host. He was friendly and very willing to assist in anyway needed. His home was immaculate located in a beautiful setting. We will definitely book again and recommend to others

This place was extremely cozy and thoughtfully stocked and clean. I could have not brought any of my own toiletries they had it all! Even had toys and a clean dog bed for our pup to use, we felt right at home. It was an easy drive to downtown Newport and across the road from a cute winery which was really nice to sit outside for a glass of wine and live music.

What an amazing space - I love historic houses and especially love old carriage houses, especially when they're restored as beautifully as this one. It had that cozy 1899 era feel like you were stepping back in time, but everything was renovated to modern day standards and decorated with a fitting kind of nautical vibe to match the history + area. George was a fantastic host, sweet enough to check in after the first night and immediately responsive, very accommodating. Wish I could have stayed longer than just a few nights, but hope to have the opportunity to come back!

Tim’s place had everything I needed for a stopover during my weeklong trip on the East Coast Greenway! It was very easy to find and nice and clean. If I’m in the area again, I would definitely come back!

My family and I had a great experience at Jairo’s place. My mom is a “neat freak” and had nothing to complain about as far as cleanliness of the house was concerned. That is high praise! Jairo and his wife are lovely humans. They were friendly and attentive. The neighborhood is lovely. I felt at home and safe in the neighborhood. I will definitely stay here again.

Keikos house was awesome!

Great host, great location, great amenity. As most houses in the area, the space was dated and rather cramped, with some dust, spider web, and ants during the stay.

Time’s place is wonderful. Private entrance through the driveway makes it a convenient spot to get in & out of. Very clean. If you’re ever in the area I highly recommend booking this spot for your stay.

This property is in such a beautiful and peaceful location. We felt safe and at home during our entire stay. Everything was spotless and well take care of. Our host, Leonard, was so responsive and accommodating! Everything we needed was there including a wonderful binder of clear stay and check out instructions, recommendations for local things to do, shopping and restaurants as well. Had a really lovely stay!

My fiance and I wanted to explore Newport for our anniversary and Sally and Dusty’s place did not disappoint. It was conveniently located, clean, accurately depicted via the photos provided, in fact even BIGGER than it appeared in photos, and was located in a very quiet, peaceful, and safe neighborhood. Washer and dryer a huge plus! The road it was located on led right to the water, beautiful! It was directly attached to their house, but that wasn’t an issue cause they never bothered us, nor did we hear them through the walls. I know they have a dog because I heard it bark a few times, but it was NEVER a problem and I’m actually sad I didn’t get to meet it ☹️ the only negatives I would list would be that there were a few bugs in the house, but to be expected with the woods/trees right there, the bathroom sink was slightly clogged, and there was no outside lighting so we had to use our phone flashlights when we came back late at night. Would recommend and stay here again! Thank you! 😊
