Vacation rentals with beach access in Newport

Jane's place was exactly as described. Neat, peaceful, and not far from our activities. She was proactive & responsive. It was the perfect spot for a birthday 3-day weekend stay.

very clean and cozy place to stay. for some reason I thought I was renting a little cottage, I didn't realize it was essentially a finished walk out basement but i wasnt disappointed because the place was wonderful and i couldnt even tell anyone was upstairs. patty was super respectful of her downstairs guests. beautiful neighborhood with a small beach within walking distance, its an enjoyable walk and a great spot to launch a kayak or take a dip. central location within reasonable driving distance to many popular RI locations such as newport, Narragansett, and providence. ferry, beaches, state parks, hiking, walkable downtowns, etc nearby.

Best AirBnB ever ! The place was even better than the description. Beautifully appointed with high quality furniture, appliances and bedding. And absolutely spotless. Gretchen was also extremely welcoming and flexible with the arrangements and our last minute changes. Thank you Gretchen!

The studio was very cute and clean. The location is perfect very close to Newport and walkable to restaurants and the beach that was close. The neighborhood is quiet. Perfect for a relaxing stay. We loved our time here !

Thanks for a nice stay in Newport and the welcome basket! We enjoyed being nxt to the ballpark and in the heart of town! Gooseberry beach was perfect. The Cliff walk and the Breakers did not disappoint. We took a sail around the harbor and it was so relaxing. The apartment was clean, the beds very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked for cooking and the bathroom had an updated shower with good water pressure. Loved the parking space! Thank u for the quietest AC’s in the world! The apartment had everything you could ask for a great stay to explore Newport, Block Island with the Ferry down the street and the town of Wakefield before and after the drive! The four of us would highly recommend. Thanks for a great vacation!

I’ve stayed in this home several times. The home is beautiful with a nautical theme throughout. Norm is always friendly, proactive, and responsive. It’s very quiet in a gorgeous New England setting. It’s like a second home when I’m in Little Compton.

Liam’s place was perfect for us. Walking distance from town, very comfortable for a family of five and family dog.

Michael’s Airbnb was amazing. He thought of everything we could possibly need and more. Wonderful wine/snack basket. Plenty of towels & blankets. Fully stocked kitchen.

Meg's place felt relaxing and spacious. It is a short walk to a private beach, which we enjoyed even though it's winter. You can see the lighthouse in the distance from the main bedroom upstairs. The beds all have memory foam mattresses so if you like that, it's good to know. I'm not a fan of memory foam but that's a personal preference and nothing against the home at all. The house felt like it had been taken care of and maintained well, with some apparently recent updates to paint and such. We did find the place to be a little dusty, especially the floors, and my husband and I were a bit sneezy due to the dust and/or pet dander present in the home. Easy to find, easy entrance (keypad on door). In a nice quiet area of Point Judith but an easy drive to Narragansett. We recommend On Point pizza for amazing slices (4 minutes' drive from Meg's place), and Celeste for a more upscale dining experience (10 minutes' drive).

Absolutely beautiful! Looks exactly like pics. Hosts were responsive and helpful. I loved how the home was decorated. One of the most beautiful places I have stayed. Amazing views. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend! Five stars in every category.

This was the perfect house for our girls weekend getaway! We had 10 guests and it comfortably slept everyone. The living room was spacious and allowed seating for all 10 of us. The decor was so cute and the house felt very clean. The beds were also comfortable! Perfect location in proximity to downtown Newport, at a more affordable price. 5-10 minute drive to almost anything we did! Highly recommend Angela’s place when visiting Newport!

We needed a place to stay for the holidays while some work was being done at our house a few miles away. We felt really lucky to have found Ashely and Justin’s house when we walked in. Four bedrooms with 5 king and queen beds were an incredible plus, and the beds were perfect. The bathrooms were super clean and had great linens, lotions, soaps and other things like makeup removers. The kitchen has all appliances and utensils we needed and was a big open space you can move around. The living spaces in front and back of the house were big and open, well furnished. The living room in the back opens to a great backyard with a fire pit and swinging bench. The house is awesome and we’ve recommended to all our local friends and family. But the thing I like the most was being in the Pier and walking to the seawall and beach, Monihans jetty and the restaurants and pubs off Boon Street. Location location location!

Beautiful home! This was our first time staying in a house instead of a hotel and we were not disappointed! House is clean and comes with everything you could possibly need! Brenda is so nice! Would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is adorable and in a great location!!! We loved the fire pit and close proximity to the beach!!! There is also a great pizza joint, liquor store, and gas station right at the end of the road so super convenient to the cottage!!! Would definitely stay here again when visiting Rhode Island!!! We had a wonderful stay!!!

The house and Nicole were awesome! The space was even better than the photos. We struggled to get in at first and Nicole answered and solved the issue within minutes. Thank you again!

Anna's place made a wonderful home base for 7 nights! We didn't have a chance to take advantage of the private beach access because we were so busy visiting all of the surrounding areas! It is very conveniently located for driving to everything, including the Martha's Vineyard Fast Ferry station in Kingstown, the Amtrak station in Kingston (just 1 hour on the Acela train from Boston!), Newport, and of course, the expansive Narragansett beach. There are so many dining choices nearby! We enjoyed our first night dinner at The Coastal Cabin, a few breakfasts at Linda's Diner, a few dinners at Wickford on the Water and some craft beers at The Tilted Barn. The outside fire pit was fun and we even roasted birthday cake in lieu of marshmallows! The beds were comfy, the shower was amazing, the leather couch was homey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful place! Very attractive, super clean, very easy to get into, walk everywhere. The kitchen is so well stocked, coffee, spices all the things needed. Comfortable communal area and beds. It was really nice for 2 couples having 2BR and 2full BR upstairs. We hope to be back.Thank you Shannon for a great stay!

We stayed the week after Labor Day, when everything shuts down for the season. That was the perfect time to be there for us because we wanted a quiet place away. It would NOT be quiet during peak season, but you couldn't find a better location to walk over to Scarborough Beach. The deck was our favorite part: the view, lounge chairs, the wall making it somewhat private to the street. We were not there in the heat of the summer, so we didn't use the window AC unit. The ceiling fan in the main room, and ocean breezes, kept things very comfortable. Not sure how the AC would work in heat, it's in the middle of the space, but in the hallway connecting the bedroom to the front room. Things to be aware of: the view comes from the 2nd floor, so you will have to go up a flight of stairs to a platform to the 3 units. The bedroom is above the main door, so you will hear people going in and out. The unit very spacious. Bright, comfortable, beautiful sunrises.

This property was the perfect size for my husband and me. Very clean and had all the basics needed. The bed was very comfortable too. The location was amazing - steps from Thames Street. Troy was extremely responsive, especially when I left a few items behind and had to coordinate with him to get them back.

Katherine was very responsive during our stay - we had an issue with the smoke detector and she sent someone right out. We had a girls weekend here (spa is right across the street and restaurants are walkable) and it was great!

Darcy's place is a comfortable condo just a 10 minute walk from the harbour. The place had everything we needed for a short visit to attend the Newport Jazz Festival. Overall a great experience.

This apartment was fantastic. All new, very comfortable, and super clean. Perfect spot for my weekend visit to Brown/RISD with family. Great location on Benefit St, right next to the new Brown Bee Coffee shop, which is excellent. Firas was a super responsive and friendly host. I hope to stay there again on a future visit.

Mark was a great host. The cozy cottage was next to the ocean and there's a beach in walking distance. The cottage itself had the rustic charm I remember from the trips we made to the coast when I was a kid in the seventies.
