House vacation rentals in Newcastle upon Tyne

we needed a place to stay for 3 of us as we were spending the weekend at the Beamish museum. 15 mins away it was perfect for our needs. Joan was helpful and responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better host. highly recommend.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed! the views were absolutely beautiful and the area was peaceful and relaxing. The welcome guide was so indepth and had recommendations for everything! Would definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed our three night stay at Jamie's place. I was on a short break with my daughter and three granddaughters aged 12, 10 and 10 months. It was exactly what we were looking for - a family home in a pleasant, peaceful area with three bedrooms, full bathroom upstairs and toilet downstairs, good Wifi, a large smart tv and two parking spaces at the house. It also provided easy access to places of interest (both in the city and in the surrounding area), shopping centres (favourites were Fenwick and the Metrocentre) , supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways. No complaints at all and we would not hesitate to stay again if visiting Newcastle.

The pictures are realistic, same as what we expected from the pictures. Quite clean and all the instructions are smooth and well.

We have just returned from our visit. A real home from home. Beautiful property with everything you need which makes travelling with children a lot easier and enjoyable. The attention to detail in this property is fantastic. The welcome basket , milk and water in the fridge was a very thankful surprise for when we checked in after a long drive. Everything you would need and more is available. Decor is beautiful. Linen excellent quality. Absolutely spotless throughout , everything was perfect. My only regret is that we were only here for 2 days as I would have loved to stay for longer! Absolutely 100% recommend. And we would love to visit again. Thank you Steph. Excellent host.

We had such an amazing weekend here. The house was a perfect size for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. It was in an ideal location for links to Hexham and Newcastle. This was perfect for us visiting family in both of these places. The kitchen was fully kitted out with everything we needed. Bathrooms had soaps/shampoos included. Kitchen had soap/dishwasher tablets etc. handy to not have to bring everything but the kitchen sink with you for a weekend! We spoke with Dawn a few times over the weekend, and she always responded super quickly, helpfully and friendly. I would highly recommend using this property and I feel like we will use again when we are next back up visiting family!

Myself and my wife enjoyed our stay, perfect location and lovely walks for our dogs. lovely and quiet. Locals we came across were really friendly. Cosy home with everything we needed, we would recommend to others. Steven & Claudia

I stayed here with my son (age 12) on holiday and it was the perfect location for us. We were on foot and it's an easy walk into the centre of Newcastle. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, and generally pleasant neighbourhood. If we had brought our car, I could see that we could have parked easily. Beds were extremely comfortable and the place was roomy and relaxing. There is a great kitchen and eating area, with modern appliances. There are two bathrooms and the upstairs one has a particularly nice shower! The living room was the perfect place to chill out in the evening. The hosts were highly responsive when I had questions. I would gladly stay they again. Thanks!

Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Plenty of parking, also easy commute to Newcastle/Sunderland/Durham.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

This is a perfect home for a family stay - it was clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach and there is plenty to do in the local area. We had a wonderful time, thank you so much!

The only difficulty we had was the smart lock once we got the hang of it was not a problem. The house was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. The parking was spacious enough for two large vehicles with Lidl supermarket more or less on the doorstep. Next time I am in the area would like to stay here again

The flat met our needs well. Responsive communications. Self-check-in was easy. On street parking right outside with plenty of space.

Ticked all the boxes. Comfortable and ideal for what we were after. The goodies left for us were a lovely extra.

The house was light, airy and spacious - the large rooms were perfectly equipped for our family gathering. A mixture of furnishing styles, but a comfortable and welcoming house. Although 20 minutes drive to Newcastle city centre, there were plenty of frequent buses available close by

Great accommodation with everything we needed. Andrew, you have a lovely place. Good location - walking distance to local shops, pubs, restaurants and Metro.

Had the best weekend for mine and my friends birthday close to everything we wanted to do and lovely house

We were up visiting family for the weekend and stayed at Steve and Viv’s place. The house is lovely and is exactly as described. Bathroom had a lovely rainfall shower and toiletries were provided. Instructions were very clear and they communicated very well. As previously mentioned the 3rd bedroom has a small narrow bed, which I would say is only suitable for a child, we were a party of 4, so didn’t need it. It was in an area we already know and was perfect for our needs. It was very easy to travel into Newcastle itself via bus, which stopped opposite the property. I would recommend this property.
