Monthly Rentals in Newby Hall

We had a lovely stay. The place had everything we could need, it was private and peaceful, the hosts were friendly.

From the start of our 3 day stay Linda made us very welcome. Had a lovely welcome with special treats. It was wonderful to sit in a private garden and enjoy our meals in peace and quiet. Recommendation of walks in the area and gave information, when asked of places to visit. We enjoyed meeting our host and benefited from excellent facilities. Would easily recommend this properties to others.

Moat Cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed after being super busy at work. The hosts were wonderful - kind, responsive and incredibly nice. The cottage contains a highly secure garden that our four pooches loved. Within the garden was an outdoor dining area that overlooks the medieval fort area (beautiful green fields and hills). The house itself was lovely and had all the amenities you could hope for including plenty of seating in the lounge, an inside dining space and a fridge-freezer. There is a stair gate to prevent the pooches from going upstairs. Ours stayed in the lounge/kitchen area and there was plenty of room for all of our dog beds. The stairs are a bit steep! But there are handrails both sides. Upstairs there were two bedrooms that had two beds in each which the hosts helpfully turned into two super king beds. The inclusion of toiletries, dishwasher tablets, sundries and other bits and pieces was a nice touch! It was a beautiful home from home.

We had a lovely couple of days in boroughbridge. The place We stayed is well worth the money. Lovely little shops to look at. Plenty of places to have a lovely meal. We had one in Grantham arms and the other in the hideaway. Then to end the day cosy lounge. We both had an excellent night sleep, pillows were lovely. We would recommend this gem of a place.
