Hidden gem in Kure|2min walk to Beach|Hot Tub

LoisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Everything about the place was great. Nice hot tub, nice outdoor seating area. Very quiet street and very close walking to public access and beach. The only complaint would be their internet. I had to make this a working vacation and I had to use a hot spot on my tablet in order to do that. The other guests were not able to connect either, but other than that I would highly recommend this place!!!

What a wonderful place for a weekend getaway!! Bungalow is just like the photos. It’s comfy, cozy, beautifully designed and decorated. I LOVED the swing and the tub/shower, and the salt for the bath was such a nice extra. Great food and little shops in Carolina Beach as well!! Thank you for all the recommendations :)

Bungalow "Perfect location! "Dogs yay! Bath reno!

AndieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Kristal’s place is very comfortable for a small family and in a great location. We had our two dogs with us and walked them daily. It was super nice to be close to the loop and also on a super quiet street. We had no issues parking on the street and having a one floor house without a million stairs was nice. The beach is close and we enjoyed biking down to it (she provides beach chairs and two cruisers). We didn’t cook very much because we had a lot going on but the kitchen has a lot of the basic items you may need, someone recommended reaching out to check on what the house offers and I think it’s a good idea if you are planing to cook regularly, etc.

We loved our week stay!T he house was very home-y, well decorated and stocked with everything we needed (I especially loved the big bath tub!). We loved the location as everything we needed was within walking distance for the most part - the beach/boardwalk was right across the street. Heather was a great host. Super friendly and responsive. It was the perfect place for us to stay and would definitely recommend!!!!

We will stay here again. Cute, rustic, spacious, older cottage. Lots of character and charm. There was plenty of space to spread out. Beds were comfy and kitchen was great. Only 1 shower (other bath has a soaker tub and sprayer). Location is easily drivable to shops, restaurants, UNCW, and the beach. Host is very responsive and helpful.

We had a great day! There were four of us and we could all relax. It was easy to get to downtown restaurants by walking and see the waterfront. The kitchen was equipped enough to make meals and we want to stay in. Very nice stay!!

Your Ocean Overlook | Carolina Beach | Rooftop

JimmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, up to date, and the host gave clear communication leading up to, during and after our stay. The beach access was an easy walk of about ~150yds and having beach chairs /wagon/umbrella within an abundant storage area was a plus. In the house: The elevator was very helpful with getting luggage and baggage to the 1st and 2nd levels. We have an 8yr old so having master and 2nd bedroom on same level was more like home. One watch out is there isn't bedroom furniture like a dresser or armoire so you have limited place to unpack your clothes (closets are roomy though and have a shelf and lots of hanging space so we managed). Another accessibility watch out is for the roof deck, you have to traverse a spiral staircase for access (elevator only goes to ground/1/2). The roof deck is awesome and we very much enjoyed morning coffee and sunsets there. Neighbor was very friendly and chatted with us several times as we took our dog in the backyard.

Central 1940s Wrightsville Bungalow!

DebbieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I am so happy I chose Trevor’s Airbnb, it was perfect for our stay. Clean and bright, loved the decor. Had everything we needed. Close to ILM, beaches, restaurants (even though we mostly cooked in the fully equipped kitchen), and one of my favorites… less than a 1/2 mile to Trader Joe’s. Drinking tea on the deck or coffee in the yard, while cloud watching was an added bonus to the relaxing trip I was hoping for. Trevor is a great host, he’s quick to respond to messages, and thanks to his suggestions we made the best of our 3 day visit. I already decided next time I plan a visit to Wilmington I will definitely be planning around the availability of Trevor’s Airbnb and stay a day or two longer to soak in more of the lovely Wilmington and all it has to offer.
