Kid-friendly vacation rentals in New Bedford

The Mermaid Cottage is located on a quiet property away from high traffic roads. It’s about 5 minutes from the main part of Westport, and less than 15 minutes to Horseneck Beach. What I enjoy about the cottage is it is peaceful, and has everything we need for an enjoyable visit. Thank you Steve!!!!

While the weather did not cooperate (it rained the entire time) the cottage and views made up for the weather. From the table to the couch the views are wonderful. The cottage is very well stocked from towels and blankets to the kitchen. We did not need anything that wasn't supplied. The bathroom is small but functional. The shower might not work well for a larger person. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe and peaceful. We enjoyed our long weekend and would book this cottage again.

Donna was a wonderful host. Her attention to detail was exceptional. Communication was spot on. The house was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. This is one of the best AirBnB homes I've stayed in. The location was great. Walking along the water was a highlight. We were so happy to visit her home and learn of her family history. We definitely plan to return. There are ton's of restaurants to choose from in the New Bedford-Fairhaven area and Donna has lots of the menus available. The kitchen is well stocked to cook a family meal as well. She has thought of just about everything you could need while away from your own home. Absolutely LOVE staying at Anna’s home that she graciously shares! Her home is like coming to your favorite aunts house while she is out of town and you just get to chill out and enjoy the area!! Quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to what I’ll call the “mall area” that has everything usually around a mall. Definitely check out The Head Landing Country Store for their coffee and DELICIOUS home baked goodies!!!

Nathanial is an amazing host with an awesome place in New Bedford. Felt right at home and street parking was ample and available. Don't think twice about bookimg your stay with Nathaniel!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage is cozy, clean, and organized with everything you need. The private lane and beach access is a great plus- our daughter loved walking down to the tide pool in the morning to collect shells and watch the crabs scuttle around. We enjoyed our time at the house and hope to return soon!

I loved this little stay, it was very peaceful and lovely. Matthew was an excellent host and the snacks and breakfast options were a lovely addition to the amenities. Matthew is a really thoughtful and lovely host, I'd love to stay here again on my next visit to Providence/Pawtucket :)

We had a perfect stay — travelling with a toddler can sometimes be challenging but Debora provided everything we needed to make the stay comfortable (cot, high chair, bath, even cutlery!) and it really felt like a home away from home. The airbnb was spotless, it’s a good location in Fall River walking distance from a playground, parking was super easy, and we loved our stay.

Colin's place was great... clean, quiet, and in a great neighborhood with a coffee shop just around the corner. Will definitely stay again when I'm in Providence.

Tina is an amazing host for this cute studio apartment! She was a proactive communicator, offered us an early check-in, and had the apartment clean and organized. We stayed here for just the weekend for a friend's wedding and it was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was even stocked with snacks and the bathroom was spotless. If you're ever up in the Cape Cod area and need a quiet place to relax that's only a short drive away from the shops and restaurants, this place is definitely it.

Very cozy place to stay. We came as fisherman so we were only around for late nights and early mornings. It was everything that we needed and a little bit more!

Pelham Court was a great stay. Great communication for checking in and checking out as well as during our stay. Very clean! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was great to be able to walk to all the restaurants and the shops. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

I cannot recommend Kelly’s place highly enough! Truly the perfect getaway spot. Close to everything and if you just want to relax you feel very much at home!

This was a great place. We found it cozy and comfortable. It is in an older, quaint neighborhood within shouting distance to Brown University. There are plenty of restaurants and things to see within walking distance. Providence is a cool town.

Ethan and Amy’s place was really nice and cozy. The kitchen and living room was beautiful and the rooms had plentiful space. Ethan was very responsive and helpful! Definitely staying here again if I am in the area!
