Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. The Blockhut is a base to Amsterdam (25 km), Leiden (12 km), Noordwijk aan Zee (13 km), Zandvoort (13 km) and Haarlem (14 km) Shops, restaurants and supermarkets are around the corner. Langevelderslag beach is 10 km by bike about 40 minutes. Lisse has a nice center with many terraces. Breakfast is included at the Blockhut. There are two bicycles for rent at the Blockhut.
