Jimmy was an amazing host along with Cowboy, his horse. It was a private location very suitable for a romantic getaway. We made all our meals there. The kitchen was well equipped. Jimmy always made himself available for questions or concerns as well as giving us space and privacy. Thanks Jimmy

We had a delightful two-night stay at the cottage in Ahawanee, CA. The accommodation was cozy and well-maintained, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding natural beauty. We appreciated the quietness and charm of the area and found the hosts to be friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Perfect place to stay after a grueling almost 0% visibility thick fog drive going down from Ahwahnee Hotel. The place felt very homey and has complete amenities down to the toiletries. The father commended the place and enjoyed himself a warm cup of coffee before we left the place.

We loved our stay, nestled in the Sugar pines. The trailhead to Lewis Creek is just two doors down and is a lovely hike. We cooked most all our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Oakhurst isn’t far and has all the groceries and restaurants you might need. We did treat ourselves to one dinner out and Plazuelas was a fantastic pick. Mariposa is a quaint town with cool local shops and a fabulous bakery, Jantz. The drive into Yosemite Village is breathtaking and bold, but worth it because it’s the center point for Yosemite’s museums, trailheads, etc. Mariposa Grove isn’t as far and the sequoias are a must see. The mountain scape and trees in the snow are like a frozen cathedral, just magical. The house is comfortable and accommodating. Joseph was a super helpful host.
