The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. Recommended for those who want to relax in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, as well as for stays of one night or more as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba. Convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and stays of several nights to long-term stays.There is a laundry machine and a bathroom with a dryer, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay even for extended periods. You can get here by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient in this area. If you come by train, there may not be a taxi available at the station, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
