Our beautiful studio with spacious Hot Tub is close to Edinburgh Airport and only 5 miles from the West End. Perfect for enjoying all that Edinburgh offers, but with the peace and quiet of a rural location. Own transport is recommended but public transport is nearby so leaving the car and hopping a bus/tram into town is easy. Guests staying without own transport are likely best to rely on local taxi services of which there are several including UBER. Plenty countryside walking available also.

Approx 8 miles from Edinburgh city centre and 2 miles from Portabello. Musselburgh Race Course is a short walk away, Musselburgh high street a 5 minute walk, Gullane and other golf courses nearby. The Puffin Burrow is a lovely self-contained apartment on the ground floor of this magnificent Georgian House. It has 2 double bedrooms, one of which is a twin and the other set up as king size but can be made into another twin on request. The modern bathroom is fully tiled with a bath and shower and there is another separate loo. The open plan modern kitchen and sitting room are complete with wood-burning stove and have views of the sea including the Bass Rock and Craigleith Island.

Buses (every 10 minutes) stop at end of the street to city centre which takes about 15/20 minutes. Co-op, post office, and various takeaways at end of street. Travel cot available if needed NO parties we will be contacted to deal with any noise at the property as we only live a few minutes away. Ring doorbell has been set up to monitor this.

The Bothy is stylishly converted from two jold stone farm cottages into a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.
