Lake house vacation rentals in Muskegon

This is a great location and easy to find. The surroundings are beautiful and the beach is accessible. The water is beautiful, although it may take 100 yards through sand to get to it. The sand was deep and luxurious has any Caribbean island. And more importantly is beautiful as the water is it has no sharks.

This was perfect for our weekend girls trip!

We were in town visiting family and wanted somewhere with a big enough common space for family to come over and it was a bonus to have the awesome downstairs for the kids to play. The weather was cold and wet, but we still found some time to enjoy the playground next door and the beautiful views of the beach/lake just steps away. The host was super responsive with the few things we communicated on. The space was clearly recently(ish) renovated - cute decor, comfy bedding. The only things I would suggest would be to add more lighting in the living room, it got quite dark and also add a washer/dryer - would be needed especially in summer months for swimming, etc. 100% recommend downtown Muskegon for restaurants and also Louie’s nearby for delicious food.

We had a fantastic time. Our winter walk on the beach w/the grandkids will be a lasting memory. We had the whole beach to ourselves. The home's location is very private... no hustle and bustle. It is filled with large windows everywhere and the beauty of the property during winter was amazing! Nothing was spared in our needs. Plenty of linens and towels for a big group. We didn't eat out and cooked each meal in the well appointed kitchen w/all the pots and pans and accessories that you need. Selma was great, was quick to communicate and very welcoming. We plan on booking again!

Michael’s place is a short walk away from stunning views of Lake Michigan. The space is clean and quiet and Michael was a friendly, responsive and thorough host. No detail was left out and he genuinely cared that our stay was a pleasant one. Thank you Michael!!

Becca was proactive prior to the trip to make sure we had everything that we needed and to ensure we had all of the information we needed for a smooth check in and stay. the house was beautiful, just like the photos. The outdoor space was perfect for entertaining. Beautiful back porch and lawn and the location was perfect. The house was pristine as far as cleanliness and check out was very easy. I would recommend this property with a 5 star rating to anyone.

This home is gorgeous and the view is breathtaking! Games and puzzles were a delight! There are wonderful water 'toys' available for warmer months! We loved the swings at the fire pit. Such a great spot to relax! Plenty of room for our family gathering. We would definitely stay here again!

What a little gem of a place! Truly was an enjoyable place to stay and met all our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here especially during the summer months when you can take advantage of all the amenities like the beautiful in ground pool in the backyard.

We loved The Getaway. The owners did a brilliant job renovating this space into a modern, clean, user-friendly environment. The view from the windows can’t be beat. I don’t know if I’ve ever stayed in an AirBnB with a two-door garage complete with automated door clickers. What a convenience, especially in inclement weather! The property is very dog-friendly, too.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The place was so tidy and cute, very welcoming. We loved the hot tub after some long hikes, and felt completely at home. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

It was a great spot. We loved all the recommendations and amenities. We did had to clean some spider web from the doors and windows but other than that it was good.

the porch is fabulous. lots of space for everyone. we did not need it, but the secret room was adorable. we would definitely come back again.

Alisha was a great host! Things were exactly as described. The location was perfect and plenty of space for the kids to run and have fun. Close to the dunes and Lake Michigan. Alisha responded to messages very quickly and was very friendly! We hope to rent from her again!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This was a last minute booking as our initial Airbnb for the weekend wasn’t usable to do an unfortunate circumstance. What a great last minute place to stay. We took day trips to Ludington to find some beers & eats. The house itself was as described, very clean and cozy. The hot tub was a plus and also very clean! A great place to kick back and enjoy peace & quiet! Highly recommend!

You must stay here. My family and our pets were relocating and needed a place to stay for over 2 weeks. The kitchen is exceptional with everything you need. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens were downright crisp! The location is in a quiet neighborhood steps from Lake Muskegon and the bike path that runs along it. There is a delightful little cafe 3 blocks away. Definitely take yourself there for breakfast! If you love a cozy coffee place, check out the Coffee Factory just a 1/2 mile down the street. If you are thinking this might be the place for you, immediately book it. You will love it! I would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending to friends and family coming for a visit!

This house is in a great location, close to the lake and major attractions. It’s clean, well maintained and everything works perfectly. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay.

We loved everything about Jamie’s place! It’s clean, bright and just so cute, and it has everything you could ever need in a home away from home. We’ve stayed in a few local Airbnbs and this one has been our favorite by far. We hope to return!

This was place was incredible! We rented it to get together for my mother’s birthday and it had everything we needed for a weekend away. The kitchen was great for cooking meals together. There were multiple living spaces for hanging out and playing games. We had lovely walks to and along the lake. They even had a Christmas tree up which made the place feel like home. If you’re looking for a place to getaway in style this is it!

Comfortable stay for 15 people. Nice area. Great big back porch which was nice during the day and evening. Would highly recommend this place to stay. So many kitchen appliances. Lots of towels and beach towels. Fully furnished.

Beautiful cottage! We felt right at home during our stay, and we appreciated being able to bring our fur baby along as well! We also loved how many shops were within walking distance.

The beach access, playground and ice cream store was very convenient after a long day at Michigan Adventure All amenities of the house helped since we were at the park for 4 days
