Vacation rentals with lake access in Muskegon

Great location, house, and host. Brian was quick to check in on us after a big storm in the area to make sure everything was good with us and the house. The kitchen area provided a great spot to visit guests as it is very open with a spacious island to place food and drink with seating for 6. Brian was quick to respond with answers to any questions. The house is located close to Lake Michigan and a large public beach. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Keaton cottage. Susan's place was clean, well equipped, and spacious. All of the fans kept the cottage comfortable. We were in town for a festival on the beach and the location was perfect! We walked along the trail and saw several deer. We had dinner at The Deck restaurant and breakfast at Brunch House and The Morning Owl.

We had a great time at Kelly’s Lake Michigan home. Beautiful view from the back deck great for watching sunsets. We brought our pup and she had a blast lounging by the fire place. Kelly even provided dog waste bags and food and water bowls. Our 2 year old nephew was also excited to find children’s books and toys to play with. One of the best equipped Airbnb kitchens I have experienced in a while allowed us to good up family dinners without having to drive into town to eat. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Silver Lake!

This is a great location and easy to find. The surroundings are beautiful and the beach is accessible. The water is beautiful, although it may take 100 yards through sand to get to it. The sand was deep and luxurious has any Caribbean island. And more importantly is beautiful as the water is it has no sharks.

This is a great place! Beautiful lake views and so many amenities. Kathy has gone above and beyond and thought of every little detail and the small things which matter! A welcome box of snacks, plenty of K cups for coffee. The place is immaculate and I would definitely recommend!! Thank you Kathy!

My friends and I stayed here for a girls trip to Holland and our stay was amazing! The place is located in a peaceful neighborhood right by water and we enjoyed walking around and looking at the beautiful homes. The rooms were comfortable and clean as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and wish we could’ve stayed long! If we visit again, we will definitely be staying at the same place.

This is a gorgeous location with unbelievable sunsets visible from the living room or out on the porch. The private beach is readily accessible and made for a wonderful stay with family. Jane's attention to details and updated bathrooms were well appreciated. This home could comfortably host 6, and is an ideal location for home base for exploration of Western Michigan.

Island View Cottage was just perfect for our family. Our grandchildren (8 and 10 yr olds) just got out of school for summer vacation. We wanted to treat them and spend some quality time together. The lake was the center of their activities, just steps off the deck to the dock with a sandy beach, clear water and plenty of shallow area to swim and play in. There was no lacking of activities to keep them entertained. Lots of beach toys, kids fishing gear, kayaks and paddle boats were provided. The kids had a great time catching fish off the dock. After a full day in the water, family board games were provided for evening entertainment or sitting around the fire 🔥 pit roasting marshmallows. The host lives nearby and was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. When we got to the last day no one wanted to leave. Many great memories were made.

Craig and Starrlynn are outstanding hosts! This is a gorgeous property and a well-done major reno. The new decor is modern, cohesive and elegant. I’m so happy we were able to stay here and can’t wait to return! Thank you Craig and Starrlynn!

This was by far the nicest Air B&B we’ve ever stayed in! Great value, very clean, nice amenities and a very comfortable bed. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area visiting family. Thanks for providing us with a great place to stay. The pontoon rental next door was also a hit with our granddaughters!

My kids & I made a last minute decision to go on one last adventure before summer ends and when I opened up my airbnb app this rental popped right up. It was in my price range and coincidentally available the days we were planning to travel out that way! It was meant to be! This rental has everything you need and then some! There was plenty of room for all 4 of us, the location couldn’t have been better, and the owners were so kind and helpful and responsive to my messages. The kitchen has everything you could need, the bathroom & shower are amazing, the open flow to the entire unit was perfect! It looks exactly like the photos, yet the photos don’t do it justice! We will be back next year as long as the owners will still have us!! 😊 THANK YOU!!!

My wife and I stayed in Grand Haven for a weekend. This place was a great deal for the location. Just a few blocks from downtown. We also were very thankful at how clean the place was. We would definitely stay here again!

If you're looking for a great spot to land, right on the water, and near some great bites and excellent things to do...book NOW! Austin is an excellent host. This unique AirBnb is situated in the renovated living quarters of the innkeeper at the Weathervane Inn. It's off to the side and feels private, and you have your own private exterior entrance. There is a door that enters into the Inn (tucked away behind the inn front desk). This came in clutch when I forgot my toothpaste and was able to pop over to the Inn and ask for some. Guests here can also enjoy the complementary continental breakfast! The road in front of the Inn is fairly busy, but not overwhelmingly so. The area is very walkable, and we took our dogs and family to both Montague and White Hall by foot. So fun! Lots of great little restaurants and spots (definitely drop into the Book Nook and Java shop). We drove to Silverlake on one of the days (30 minutes away). BEAUTIFUL state park and dunes.

Great place to stay for a night. Super close to the beach and a short drive to everything you need. The only thing is that as an old house that was made into two apartments, you can sometimes hear the people on the first floor, but overall it was not distracting and didn’t take away from the overall stay. Would book again!

Had a great Memorial Day Weekend trip here! The cottage feels like stepping back in time in the best way possible. Our daughter enjoyed the VHS collection, box of toys, and the old-school high chair. Plenty of ways available to enjoy the outdoor space (boats, fire pit, grill), and endless outdoor activities in the area (we enjoyed a couple of easy hikes and a relaxing beach day). Ericka is a great communicator and was very kind and welcoming, as were the neighbors that we interacted with. We would absolutely recommend this place, and hope to visit again someday!

Crystal was extremely helpful, responsive and friendly. She really cared that all went well. The cottage is clean and nicely decorated and has a sweet cottage feel. Great backyard and has many helpful features like out-door chairs and beach towels. I highly recommend this house.

We had a truly magical stay at Rob’s place in the woods. Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect escape. The house is just a short 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach.The house itself was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. While the walk up to the house involves a bit of a climb—which could be challenging for someone with bad knees—it didn’t bother us. The living room and bedrooms were spacious and relaxing, and we had no issues with the well water during our stay. The kitchen is in a separate building from the main living space, which took a little getting used to, but it was well-equipped for all our needs. One suggestion would be to upgrade the electric stove, which felt a bit outdated and at times posed some safety concerns. The electric grill also looks quite old and could use a deep clean, but it still worked well enough for us to grill all of our meals. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled escape.

Really well kept cottage, with everything you could need. Great place to stay to take day trips to surrounding attractions/towns. Also just super cute in general.

The grounds were beautiful, the coastal decor was perfect and the view was spectacular! Loved how drawers and light switches were labeled so no guessing games as to where stuff was. A fenced area for the dogs would’ve been icing on the cake but it didn’t detract from an amazing vacation in a gorgeous location! Would give 10 stars if that were an option.

Honestly first time renting an AirBNB. Host were great they answered countless questions for me and the other guest. The place its self was perfect, amazing lake and views and the late night fires were great. 10\10 recommend this place!

This little cottage is perfect for your getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! We loved the homey feel, and the cottage has a great vibe! We spent lots of time down on the lake and appreciated the boats that were therefore our use! We had a Fire each night and laid out on the dock and looked at the stars, we could see the Milky Way! The cottage is simple, but everything you need! The bed was really comfortable, several fans were provided, lots of books to enjoy, the kitchen was well stocked, and I liked the deep clawfoot tub! My favorite part might’ve been the tree swing! I would love to stay here again!

David's place was pristine and the setting was picturesque! The view from the living room was spectacular and the beach was incredible! The kitchen was well equipped and I honestly have no complaints. A few additional details that might be noteworthy to some: - phone was in SOS mode, but the wifi had great coverage and was speedy - as expected, lots of stairs to the beach, I believe it was around 75 steps - the beach had almost no rocks, it was nearly all sand. So if you're looking for a good rock hunting beach, you'll have to go up north to Summit Park, just south of Ludington (~25 min drive, but it was a beautiful drive!)
