Wonderful weekend stay! A little tricky finding it at first, but the cabin was beautiful. We had to do some searching for places to eat locally. Highly recommend Pizza Factory and Deb’s diner in Shelby! We will definitely be back

Cozy stay with lots of amenities! Peaceful and private. Felt right at home. Kids enjoyed the pool at the club nearby which was about a 10min drive. Host was very responsive and accommodating!

Great little gem. Our family really enjoyed staying here. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped with everything. Host is super responsive. The cabin was clean and stocked. Definitely plan to come back in the summer to take advantage of all the amenities

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It’s a peaceful and relaxing location, perfect for a family retreat. The interior was beautiful, with stylish furniture, and everything we needed was provided. It was also very clean and well-maintained. The host was fantastic, professional, kind, and incredibly responsive. Although the weather didn’t allow us to use the kayaks and bikes, the host quickly provided them, along with an air pump when requested. Truly a great experience with a wonderful host!

Our stay at Frank's place could not have been more comfortable or relaxing. The inside was super clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for the week. We liked the spacious, open living/dining/kitchen area, nice furniture, and comfortable beds. But we especially enjoyed the large front deck, huge umbrella that kept us shaded, pocket views of the lake, grill/griddle combo, outdoor shower, and having the pickleball courts a short walk away. Frank is a super friendly and very responsive host. He genuinely wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay, which we did! We look for to renting from him again next year for 2 weeks! Thanks for everything, Frank!

The stay was great and Kurt was super friendly and responsive. I had to call when my service wouldn’t load the check in code for the door and he chatted and gave us directions to get to the lakes by the house - all walkable by the way. Great location and the pie the hosts made was delicious! Thank you and we’ll be back again!

Wow, what an amazing experience! The location was incredibly peaceful and beautiful, set wonderfully amidst the woods. The outdoor bathroom was impressively clean and the surroundings were so quiet. Additionally, the host provided thoughtful extras that I didn't even realize I would need until I arrived, such as wood, face wipes, paper towels, and equipment for cooking over the fire.

This was one of those trips we looked forward to for a long time, and I’ve missed after it’s done. Dragon base camp was perfect for adventuring on our bikes and recharging. Cannot wait to go back!!

We spent a couple days exploring Double JJ Ranch and Robert’s house was about 7-10 minutes from the ranch. Perfect location for us! It was a great house to rent.

This was our second year staying in Mary K’s cabin. The location is unmatched. You can see and hear the lake through the trees. The path down to the private beach takes just two minutes. There is all the beach gear you need, and two fire pits for a beach bonfire. The cabin is cozy and does the trick for a beach vacation. We plan to return many times over.

Peaceful, private and serene! If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, with excellent food nearby, this is the place for you! Great host and beautiful surroundings, just what we needed.

Jillian was extremely responsive with any questions we had. The property was beautiful and private and we loved the A-frame cabin. Very charming and cozy - a great place to unwind and unplug. The property was nice to walk but we also took a short drive up to the Manistee River trail for a scenic all-day hike. The A-frame was very dog-friendly and safe for our pup. We loved our stay!

Smooth Sailing was a perfect little cabin. It was clean and comfortable and simply decorated. It is one of 4 cabins on an ample lot right on Silver Lake with access to the water and a small dock. Sunsets over the lake were incredible. The location is central to Silver Lake Dunes, Mears, Hart, and Pentwater. We spent our time taking a dune ride with Mac Woods, laying on the beach in Pentwater, eating seafood at Gull Landing, sipping wine at Fox Barn and playing minigolf right down the street. This particular cabin does not have a view of the lake, but the other 3 do and it was only a short walk to the other end of the property where we enjoyed sipping wine by the dock and watching the sunset over the lake and dunes. Our host was incredibly responsive and check in/out was painless and easy!

Nice little cabin, just a block from the water. The inside was clean and tidy. It rained one day on our stay so we stayed in and started a fire in the fireplace. Very peaceful. No issues with anything at all! The lake was nice and not too busy but it is connected to Lake Michigan so you get some bigger boats out there. It’s only 35 minutes to Silver Lake, so we went there for a day as well. Good location from Chicago!

Great place to come relax and de-stress. Clear air lots of trees. The stars at night are impeccable. Loved the easy access to the lake amenities. Fur babies had a blast too. Peaceful, quiet, and private.

Croton House is a wonderful, comfortable, relaxing place to stay. The deck over looking the lake is perfect. We had a great time in the lake using the provided kayaks. It is the perfect lake to kayak on if you you are a novice like me. We really enjoyed swimming in the lake, as well. I did not notice in the description that it is important to bring water shoes, I may have missed that. We were able to buy some in town but had we known, we would have brought them from home. Be sure to bring them if you plan to go in the lake, which I highly recommend (so refreshing). We loved staying here and would request to book it again if we ever find ourselves in the area again.

My wife and I needed a quiet getaway and Tiffany’s place was exactly what we needed! Such a beautiful place, quite relaxing. A wonder refreshing weekend.

The private beautiful sandy beach made this rental feel like a secluded California beach! The home was great and Laura is an amazing host! We had a blast on our family weekend getaway!
