I try to pick a place nearest to Camp Pendleton where my boys are. I always get an air bnb as I want a “home” for my son to visit me at Due to the weather Ms Cindy & Mr Charles were very accommodating as I was late checking in because of that bad weather I was exhausted (trying to keep my SUV on the road due to the high winds and rain) this place was amazing The ONLY thing that I would change is to leave a broom and dustpan (maybe a swifter) out so that I could clean up after my clumsy self (although my son appreciated the new broom lol). Shannon’s place was more than wonderful!! The location was amazing, walking distance to everything.. We even took the train to an Angels game one day. The place itself was perfect, super comfy bed,kitchen that had everything and we really missed the steam shower when we got home!! Shannon was so great and super accommodating. Me and my partner said it was our most favorite trip! We will definitely be back!! Thanks Shannon!!!

We really enjoyed our first ever visit to San Clemente. The home was a perfect location for a three-day wedding adventure. We especially appreciated the nearby stairs/pathway to the beach and trail.

My mom stayed over the Christmas break. She really enjoyed the apartment and found it even better than the photos and what was described.

I stayed here for a long work trip from the UK - almost three months. It's a lovely place and perfect for a long stay for one person. I also had my wife and daughter visit for a week and even with all of us there it didn't seem too small. Carlsbad is lovely, lots of good restaurants and a nice local vibe. It really is only a few yards to the beach and it's great for a walk or to watch the sun go down. It's the place to be if you're into water sports! All the amenities in the apartment were great, parking is easy and everyone involved with the place is absolutely lovely. I was there early in the year and didn't really use it, but I think the back yard would probably be great in mid-Summer. The location is great for getting everywhere in North San Diego county (I was working in La Jolla) and anywhere about. It's close to the 5 but you can also drive along the 101 which is stunning. I really highly recommend this - what a great place.

I have nothing else to say other than how pleased and comfortable i was with my stay! This was my first time using airbnb and i hit the jackpot! Mayra and Jacob were very accommodating and responsive. The house was beautiful and was in an amazing location next to restaurants and shops. I couldn’t have been happier!! We had an amazing stay at this beachside home! The views were absolutely stunning — we loved waking up each morning to the sight of the ocean and the peaceful sound of the waves. The home was spotless and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and perfect for preparing family meals. One of our favorite parts was spending time on the patio, just relaxing and soaking in the incredible view. It was the perfect getaway for our family — peaceful, comfortable, and beautifully located. Highly recommend!

Fernando's place was super clean and cozy, especially for a short getaway! The stay was extremely close to town yet far away from the hustle and bustle. I loved how clean the whole Airbnb was and the bed was so comfy!! The water got warm and the heaters were perfect for the cold nights. Thank you for letting us stay! We'll be back :)

This is the best Airbnb in which I have ever stayed. For eight nights, I had the sincere pleasure of experiencing this Airbnb which was absolutely extraordinary in every sense of the word: superbly well-designed, immaculately clean, incredibly well-equipped, landscaped beautifully, and always peaceful and quiet. It is situated within easy walking distance of cafés, restaurants, stores/merchants, and the beach itself. Melissa and Dennis were so very kind and gracious hosts who made themselves available at all times to respond to inquiries. In a heartbeat, I would recommend this Airbnb without any hesitation whatsoever to anyone who may be considering a stay in San Clemente or in the general vicinity. It is a rare gem.

Edmund was such a great host, he responded super fast and always made sure I had everything I needed! The rooftop views were gorgeous, 10/10 had a perfect stay!

This was our second time staying at Matthew’s and once again it did not disappoint. As a host and person, Matthew is a gem. He’s so kind and ready to help but is so respectful of space. The surrounding area is so beautiful and the most peaceful area you will find. My wife and I go there to unwind and it equally meets both of our needs. She loves to listen to the ocean and I love to sit outside and see it. Whenever we want to plan a getaway, this will be our spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michael's cottage in San Clemente. We walked to the beach daily, used the provided beach chairs, towels and umbrella and walked to downtown several times; the location was perfect. The cottage was very clean, updated and comfortable. We also enjoyed his 70" TV after a full day out and about. It was nice to have the provided parking space as well. Michael was responsive on our questions and we highly recommend his cottage. We will be back!

Great spot for a weekend getaway! Dawn was helpful and responsive to all my questions. Perfect little cozy fireplace inside, first room you walk into is wonderfully welcoming. and the space is split into a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette style set up. Loved the beautiful tile mural in the shower. Clean bathroom! Just 3 helpful notes for curious travelers: 1) Dawn gave perfect instructions for arrival, use them! I would advise arriving during daylight hours because the last mile on the farm is a bit of a narrow wraparound. 2) We ran into a few other folks on the working farm, no big deal! Be advised that there are multiple units on the property and animals that like to say hello! Specifically, whimsical unit has three units attached (each private) but if you’re looking for absolute isolation just note you have neighbors upstairs and might have some on your left. Not a problem for us! 3) If cooking your own food note you’ve got a smaller compact fridge not a full commercial!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rental is close walking distance to the ocean, Harbor, and town. There are lots of amenities at the complex, pool, billards, pong pong. Everything was very nice. Would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It had exactly everything that I needed and I felt right at home. I loved that the unit is on the first floor so very easily accessible to get all of my luggage into. The area felt safe and comfortable. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was perfect. I also love that. There was a cute little patio to sit out on. I’m usually picky about beds, but this one was very comfortable and I was able to get a great night sleep every night. The host was very accommodating and very easy to get a hold of whenever I needed questions answered. I will definitely be back to stay here for my future trips to Southern California ! Thank you !!
