Monthly Rentals in Moyard High

Oh emm geee!!! We felt like we died and went to heaven! This place is even better than the pictures show. The cottage is perched on a rocky cliffside overlooking the ocean. Sheep (with lots of babies) were our constant companions in the field next to the cottage. The interior is rustic, warm, cozy, and so, so, perfect! The view from the bedroom makes it difficult to go downstairs in the mornings. And speaking of the bedroom, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We had our best night's sleep in weeks! We seriously did NOT want to leave.

Ita really helped us out in a pinch! We originally had reservations for a place in Donegal but had to scramble to find something else because of power outages up north. We messaged about a dozen places and Ita got back to us so quick and even offered to open her doors to us earlier than regular check in given the circumstances. Ita’s home is so comfortable and clean and the views out of every window just stop you in your tracks. The beds are comfortable and warm and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is perfect and the books she has throughout the house are such a temptation to just enjoy a cozy time with incredible views. The location of Ita’s house is also ideal. It’s a five minute drive to Connemara National park and maybe seven minutes to Kylemore abbey. There are places to explore just outside of her doors. She was an incredible host. We are so happy our circumstances changed so that we could find and stay in her beautiful home for the last few nights of our trip!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting: we spent 2 nights but would recommend it for a longer stay without any problem. We were 2 adults and my 16 year old daughter, we could have been with another of our teenagers without any worries. Marie-Louise is very kind, with very pleasant touches like bread, milk, eggs and butter for our first breakfast, and she was great advice because thanks to her we discovered Renvyle Beach😍. The proximity to lots of activities and shops is very convenient. We will choose this cottage again if we come back 😊

Amazing stay in this cozy, warm and tidy house. Perfectly located between Clifden, the sky road and the Connemara national park, Kylemore abbey,... Plenty of things to do and see just round the corner. The house is very confortable, well equipped for families. We highly recommend.
