The Loft at Lake Forest Park

Our "Lodge" was built in 1947 as a retreat from the Seattle expansion after WWII. As our family expanded, we added a Terrace and Loft in 2002 to care for aging parents. For several years grandchildren and great grand children have taken up residence, moved on and started families of their own leaving a warm and inviting space that begs for your company. The Loft provides a unique setting w/private entry in a quiet neighborhood. Self-contained, a perfect place to stay for 4 nights or 4 weeks.

Fall asleep gazing at majestic evergreen trees through the glass ceiling of this dreamy romantic cottage with antique soaking tub on our dog & child-friendly organic hobby farm located just minutes from the Mukilteo ferry and the charming sea town of Langley. Interact with sassy swan-like sebastopol geese or a kaleidoscope of 50ish chickens and two brother rescue goats named Frank and Petunia. Groomed trails lead to a 100 acre nature preserve managed by our neighbors The Whidbey Institute.

Welcome to your hideaway studio on a quiet, forested lot, yet just a few minutes away from essential services and twenty minutes from downtown Seattle. The apartment is part of a 1923 Craftsman Style House situated in a magical garden setting with wooded trails leading to a forested stream and local hiking area.
