Monthly Rentals in Mortimer's Cross

The fact that we returned 3 months after our last visit, says it all. The Annexe is the break you need to totally switch off. It has everything you need, peace, quiet, no light pollution, countryside, sheep, walks, fruit farm, Mel's amazing bakes, even dogs are fully catered for ... it's just brain break bliss. Our only complaint is that we never stay long enough! Needed just one more night ... next time. Leominster is a short drive or a good walk away, great for antiques mooching. Ludlow a little further on, again great for mooching and a lovely vibe. Mel & Guy (& Bertie) are great hosts, so lovely and friendly, they really make you feel at home and have thought of everything. We love this place.

Andrea was friendly , approachable and helpful. She signposted me to great walks, shared her amazing gardening and wildlife knowledge and even came to fetch me when I got lost on a walk! A great host, a wonderful welcoming accomodation and a really comfortable and well needed rest. Thank you so much. I would be back in a heartbeat! Sandy

Fabulous and beautifully equipped. Thank you for a lovely stay Janet. The house is immaculate and very comfortable. Our only issue was a slight difficulty moderating the heat....not enough to mark you down. We spent 3 nights and loved the area and comfort and cosiness of no 5 upon our return each evening.

This was our second stay at The Smithy and we absolutely loved it!! It was just as wonderful as the last time and we felt right at home again. Everywhere was clean, tidy and had everything we could possibly need! The location is gorgeous and the host is amazing and super friendly. We will definitely be coming back once again!! ❤️
