Cabin vacation rentals in Morganton

My husband and I come to the mountains often and stay different places. The Glass Tree House was definitely a favorite of ours by far!! It had so many unique amenities from the waterfall right outside to many different coffee brewing options, a well stocked kitchen and the unique fireplace with plenty of dry wood to enjoy in the evenings. We also enjoyed the hot tub right beside the waterfall, very unique to this home. It was also nice that you could hear the waterfall even when inside and the windows were closed. Whether you were inside or outside you could enjoy the beauty of the outdoors from any room. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, peaceful, romantic and relaxing get away, this is definitely it! Thank you Ashley and Andy for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Lola’s getaway in Lake Lure was a great stay. It’s very private with beautiful scenery. It’s about 25 minutes to the lake but it’s worth being the distance for the privacy. The owners are very responsive and very nice to deal with. Would definitely stay again.

Hands down, one of my favorite airbnb! Spectacular views, beautifully decorated space, awesome sitting areas. We were in town celebrating the wedding of my college roommate's daughter, and the space was perfect for three couples. Can't say enough great things about it. Brian was incredibly responsive as a host. The location is a very short drivable distance from Blowing Rock, not that you may ever want to leave the airbnb. Highly recommend!

Can’t say enough about this place. Everything was as described. Clean, nicely decorated and private. Lots of things to do around the area and if you just wanted to stick to the cabin. There wasn’t once where we thought “you know if would be nice if we had a” or “I need a”… and we opened a cabinet or drawer and there was what we needed. Made it very much like a home and not an Airbnb. Thank you. We will be back.

We absolutely loved the cabin. The outdoor and indoor spaces were super cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked, so we were able to make all of our meals there. The grill was clean and worked great. The cabin and the property were perfect!

Lauren’s place was amazing! We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and the kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table. Everything was clean and lots of chairs for the entire family. It is tucked back into the woods so it was quiet and peaceful. We also enjoyed watching several deer walk past a few times. I’m highly recommend Lauren’s cabin.

We enjoyed our stay at Kay’s place. It was easy to find and match the description perfectly. The only thing we didn’t love was that the staircase was a ladder and I wouldn’t recommend that for children. Great for a couples getaway. The town of Blowing Rock is very quaint and Hallmark-y. Overall pleasant stay. Kay was very communicative and accommodating and made for a great trip.

Amazing stay here! A true gem and perfect place for a city guy like myself to get away from the hustle and chaos. Best airbnb i've stayed at to date!

Very comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. Home was clean and cozy! Highly recommend and will stay here again. Bed and furniture very comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing. Having shampoo and body wash as well as phone chargers (the things you tend to forget) was amazing. Nicely decorated! Porch is very relaxing and peaceful!

My husband and son thoroughly enjoyed their stay. They kept saying how much I would love this place. They really had some meaningful conversations and wonderful father and son time. They enjoyed the photos at the cabin and apparently had a great conversation with a neighbor. They were disappointed in the fishing. A game warden advised that the stream wasn’t stocked this year because of the debris and impact of hurricane Helene but he did direct them to another stream just a 20min drive away and he gave them directions to a beautiful waterfall.

We really enjoyed our stay at Modcabins in Asheville. The cabin was exactly as described. It was clean, the area was private, and it was the perfect get-away-from-home-for-the-weekend experience. We appreciated the amenities like the record player. The hot tub made for relaxing and beautiful views at sunset. We also got to experience a mom and cub black bears exploring the woods in front of the cabin as we were preparing for dinner; it was amazing watching them. We would recommend for anyone looking to stay in a cute little place for two looking for a quiet get-away together.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CABIN! LOVE OUR HOSTS! WE DIDNT WANT FOR ANYTHING! CABIN WAS CLEAN AND WELL FURNISHED. THOUGHTFUL HOSTS AND GREAT COMMUNICATION. GATED AND SECURE COMMUNITY. CLOSE TO EMERALD HOLLOW MINE! WE LOVED EVERY SECOND OF OUR TRIP. ESPECIALLY COFFEE ON THE PORCH ENJOYING THE BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

We had a great time during our stay. The house was close enough to Asheville and plenty of things to do. The host and lots of great recommendations for food and hiking. We drove to upper creek falls and it was well worth the drive and hike.

It was raining lightly when we arrived, we had no idea Hurricane Helene was also coming to the mountains. We lost power the second day and water, Kenny and heather came to check on us and brought us a propane stove to cook on and boil water. This community has been hit hard by the storm, but it was incredible to see how quickly people came together to help each other. Kenny knew someone who had satellite internet and solar power, and they were happy to let people use it to get messages out. Another person had a satellite phone and offered to send messages for people. There is a local monastery, and the monks worked hard to clear the roads of mud and debris. When this area recovers, you must show them some love and support. The property is beautiful and the area is worth a trip. Please pray for them.

This place is breathtaking, it’s so peaceful and the views are amazing. Linda and Greg were absolutely incredible they are extremely kind and understanding. The directions to and from were to a tea. The house was so cozy and clean. I will say the kitchen was STOCKED it had everything you can think of even the little knick knack you may have forgotten at home. We celebrated our 1 year old son birthday here, and couldn’t think of a better peaceful place for two first time parents trying to get away from it all. Linda and Greg’s response time to any questions I had was very timely. definitely coming back! Thank you guys for letting us stay in your beautiful home!!

Nick went above and beyond to make our time at the cabin as special as possible. He allowed us to use the space for my sister’s tiny, family-only wedding and it was perfect! The views are absolutely gorgeous up there. Nick communicated thoroughly, answered any questions, and went out of his way to add special details, like a full length mirror for the bride’s getting ready room. We’re super grateful for all of his help and couldn’t recommend more his cabin for a peaceful stay with beautiful views.

This beautiful home was the perfect getaway. It was the perfect level of modern, homely, and quint. The view was amazing, the house was clean and well decorated, the drive was easy, and the list goes on. There was a bad storm on the first night of our stay that caused the internet to go out the next day, Maryia and Timothy were quick to notify the company and make us aware that there was a large outage and when it was scheduled to be back on. The instructions were crystal clear to get in and the drive up had well paved roads the whole way up the mountain. The kitchen was used each night for dinner and the pans, utensils, and appliances were clean and easy to use; great for those who want to eat-in during their stay. The blackout curtains in the bedroom were a great touch and convenient. One of the best places I have stayed for vacation. Highly recommend!!

Wow where do we start, the cabin was absolutely perfect and had anything you could think of from zip lock bags to beach towels and then there is the amazing surroundings of nature including little chickadee birds and frisky squirrels hopping from tree to tree there was so much to do within a short drive like mesmerizing waterfalls and breath taking views from the grandfather mountain !! If you want the best sleep of your life the king size bed will take you to heaven for the night and of course Shannon the host was extremely helpful with suggestion on where to go and what to see so hands down the best place we have stayed

It was a delight to spend a few nights in this darling cabin with such a spectacular view from the back porch. Everything was as described by the host, and I would definitely stay here again!

What a great place. Cabin was easy to find on a very quiet road. It was a very peaceful and relaxing location. The creek is beautiful. Jacob was quick to respond to any questions and he was very helpful and informative. I’m looking for to staying here again.
