The Steading with Pool & Hot Tub

RachaelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

The Gardener’s Cottage with wood fired Hot Tub

SaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This garden cottage was straight out of a romantic fairytale! The gorgeous garden surrounding the cottage and the view of the water and misty rolling hills framed perfectly by a stone wall and ivy were just breathtaking (especially while sitting in the wood fire heated hot tub). The cottage itself was incredibly cozy. We had nearly gotten stranded on Islay with car issues and we weren’t even sure we’d get to enjoy this stop on our holiday. By the time we arrived, we were completely exhausted from the chaos of the previous 24 hours so this relaxing and welcoming space was exactly what we needed to decompress. ☺️ The cottage was well equipped and very clean! We had everything we needed and then some. Caroline was an exceptional host. She was remarkably responsive and lovely to interact with both prior to our stay (when we weren’t sure we’d be able to make it) and during our stay! Anyone with the opportunity to stay here, should absolutely do it! Thank you for everything, Caroline!!

Eagle's Rest, Geary, Isle of Skye

KatrinRating, 5 stars6 days ago

Gorgeous Rosemarkie Cottage

AlanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The house was wonderful - we were delighted with both the location and with the property. The house was immaculate, and beautifully furnished with some really lovely pictures and objects throughout. The rooms were all good-sized and bright with the kitchen/dining area overlooking the garden a real standout. It was very well maintained and it felt like a proper home from home. The location was really lovely too - nice and quiet with a very short walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed our walks around the area and along to Chanonry Point to look for the dolphins. A local pub and a lovely restaurant were close by too which was a bonus! Our host, Eva, provided us with clear and concise information prior to our arrival and messaged us a couple of times during our stay to make sure that all was in order. This was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, and we certainly plan to visit again!

We were so lucky to get the pleasure of the incredible food, service and ambience of Monkstadt 1745 for dinner while there. Making our bucket list trip to Scotland and Isle of Skye so very special. Words cannot do justice to this amazing property; it has to be experienced to be believed. Terrific view of the bay just steps out the back door, yet near the center of town. Extremely quiet. Spacious. Comfortable. Fantastic master bath and bedroom, with two tubs, two sinks, and a wonderful shower. An office for work or reading. Powder room and storage room. Good washer and dryer. A good kitchen and dining area. Comfortable sitting room with a telescope for viewing the bay and its ptarmigan inhabitants. Great tv and internet. Separate sauna building with a view of the bay. Amenities galore, including boots for walking on the beach, And the most thoughtful attention to details that you'll ever encounter. Also, the hosts are extremely generous. It's simply lovable.

The place was very quite and peaceful. The house was well maintained with all kitchen and bathroom facilities. There is private car parking enough for at least 2-3 cars. There is one queen bed in ground floor and 2 single beds on the another upper stairs bedroom. We loved it and highly recommended for those who need peacetime.

Luxury Cottage with breathtaking private peninsula

MegRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a wonderful 4 nights at this beautiful and luxurious cottage. We loved everything about our stay- from the stylish and comfortable interior design, to the stunning views and amusing rabbits outside. Juliet was helpful in her suggestions of local restaurants and the instructions for arrival and departure were clear and simple. The bed was so comfortable! The large bath was ideal for soaking post hike sore limbs. We were looking forward to using the woodburning stove, but the weather was too nice (Yes, we were very lucky!) We found a car to be a necessity for this wonderfully secluded location, and while the private road was a bit rough, it was easily traversed with a standard rental car. The location was ideal for reaching all parts of Skye, being only a 5 minutes from two of the main A roads. This is an exceptional cottage and we were delighted with all aspects of our stay!

Annex at the Chapel Sandaig Knoydart

chrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Fantastic stay at Roland & Bettina’s annexe at Sandaig bay in Knoydart, such a tranquil environment to relax and unwind. My adult son & I made good use of the trails they’ve developed locally, up to Roinn na Beinne inland, and to Doune and Inverie along the coast. The sea water is crystal clear, and thanks to the great weather this May we were even able to enjoy swimming in the bay. We’d hiked from Kinloch Hourn overnight car park to Inverie, for a meal and pint in the pub - worth booking ahead due to day visitors on the ferry from Mallaig - before being collected by Roland. Our four nights at Sandaig then passed by all too quickly, with many thanks to Roland & Bettina for their hospitality, before heading back with fond memories of such a special place

Tidal Cottage On The Shore Isle of Skye

KirstyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
A stunning location for this cottage. It was peaceful and has incredible views over the waters to the mountains. It was wonderful to see the tide come and go, we felt close to nature. The cottage was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. There are games and books and enough for wood for your first night there. Underfloor heating was lovely and the fire heated the house really well to the point I needed to open the door to cool down - which is great to know you won’t be cold when you’re up there at the end of Autumn! Having a bath while looking out in the views to the mountains felt like a luxury.

Dark Skye Cottage Isle of Skye

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Airbnb on the Isle of Skye, and it was truly unforgettable. The interior of the home was absolutely stunning—thoughtfully decorated, cozy, and filled with charming details that made it feel both elegant and inviting. Every room had a warm, homey scent that instantly made me feel relaxed and welcomed. One of the most magical parts of the stay was sitting in the living room. The large windows offered breathtaking views overlooking the ocean, with dramatic mountains rising in the distance. It was like something out of a postcard—calm, serene, and endlessly inspiring. The hosts were just as lovely as the setting. They were incredibly kind, accommodating, and made sure everything about our stay was perfect. You can tell they put so much care into both the home and their hospitality. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape with views that will stay with you forever, I couldn’t recommend this place more.
