I had a lovely weekend the people are welcoming and the accommodation is very nice

We had a fantastic week at La Gigon, so peaceful and relaxing, it had all we needed and more. Our 3 kids (6-9 years) had a ball in the pool and using all the games room had to offer. Judy was friendly and easy to communicate with and Jackie her property manager was welcoming and lovely. I highly recommend La Gigon and would love to return in the future.

We had a great time at Stéphanie's place. The accommodation was perfectly maintained, pleasant and very well-equipped. We enjoyed its location between Saintes and Cognac. Thanks to Stéphanie for hosting.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

This is probably the coolest house I've ever stayed at. The house was HUGE inside, the pictures don't do it justice. And the garden was perfect for our whippet pup to sprint and explore to her heart's content, very secure. Claire was really helpful and gave us good advice regarding getting food on a bank holiday. We'll definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lucia's, we are delighted with the very peaceful place, the decoration is very nice. The kitchen is very well equipped. The location was ideal for me, 9 minutes from the Château de Perigueux. We also enjoyed our contact with Lucia, which was easy and enjoyable. Thank you for your hospitality.:)

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Our stay at the beautifully renovated and well appointed stone gîte was very pleasant. It is surrounded by extensive gardens including a clean and private pool .Sean and Bridget gave us a warm welcome and provided us with recommendation for places to go and things to do. What a great place to relax and enjoy the Périgord countryside.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

beautiful peaceful place accompanied by the croaking of frogs and the jumps of carp...a treat...the spa in the overwhelming heat a real delight... on the other hand, disappointed not to be able to lock the door, the sofa really not comfortable even if we spent our time outside the cottage, the duvet with a lot of stains...without these small drawbacks, the stay was idyllic, the region is waiting to be discovered!!! very discreet and welcoming owners

Beautiful home and grounds! Well equipped with all necessary supplies. Communication with Caroline was excellent! Always with a quick response to questions and even worked out a birthday cake and wine for our traveling friend. Nice outside seating area to enjoy by the pool. Would highly recommend!

Despite the language barrier, we were very well received. The environment is very quiet and the hosts are unfailingly discreet. All amenities are available to us and nothing is missing. The sound of water is very present in the accommodation, but very regular, a natural lullaby. Thanks

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. It was the experience that we were looking for.

What a beautiful Airbnb! The house was beautiful, and the garden with swimming pool was really a picture. Everything was neat and clean, and we relaxed here enormously. The only thing we were wrong about was that the landlords were right next to us. As a result, there was a little less privacy than we had expected. This is entirely our own preference and does not affect the quality of the Airbnb. It's just something to consider if you want to be a little more private.

Lovely stay at Le Petit Grenier! A lovely little gite with everything you need and a super arrivals food pack to get you going! Great to be given pool towels too. The gite is in a wonderful location and the grounds are beautiful. The pool area is super and so nice to relax next too after a hot day out cycling /canoeing / exploring. Joanne and Martin are great hosts and invited us and other guests to a welcome evening with a charcuterie/cheese board, with many suggestions for places to visit and helpful advice. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again another year.
