Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Monti, Rome

From the start Daniela was very friendly, helpful and an amazing host. Her apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. A great location for Marco Simone Golf Club and only a short uber ride away from central Rome. Highly recommend.

Annalisa is a charming hostess. She is very friendly and gave us plenty of little tips to ensure that our stay went smoothly. The space was spacious and impeccable. The exteriors are pleasant. Parking space is a plus . A bus station is right next to the accommodation as well as a large supermarket. It's very convenient.

We loved staying at Bruno’s and Britta’s place. The apartment is spacious with a great terrace and an amazing once in a lifetime view of St. Peter’s basilica. The walk to the Vatican is only 13 minutes, however the area felt quiet, very safe, and less touristy than other parts of Rome we visited. There’s a variety of restaurants, supermarkets and other shops nearby. Very good transit links are reachable within short walking distance. Britta and Bruno communicated proactively and thoroughly.

Alessandra's Place was quiet, clean and in a great location. would recommend it and would stay there again. the host was easy to reach when we had questions and had great suggestions to what was around the neighborhood.

Our stay at Lucia's house was all around successful. The house is spacious, very well maintained and offered our group of 11 more than enough space. The connection by train to the center of Rome was straightforward – in about 50 minutes we were in the middle of the city. A car is still practical for exploring the surroundings flexibly. There are several supermarkets and great restaurants nearby. We felt very comfortable and would like to stay here again on our next visit to Rome. Lucia was always available and gave us many great tips and recommendations. Thank you, Lucia!

Cosy apartment with real fire

We really enjoyed our stay at David's home. It was centrally located to our planned activities and pretty private. A few things came up but the hosts were very responsive. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

It was a pleasure staying at this lovely apartment in the Prati neighborhood of Rome for five nights. The location is fantastic – a truly nice and quiet area, yet with the convenience of excellent restaurants and grocery stores just a short stroll away. We especially enjoyed Fratelli Rossetti, a wonderful recommendation from Antonella! Getting around Rome from here was a breeze. We found it easy to reach all the major sights by bus or Metro, not to mention the Vatican City which was within comfortable walking distance. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable and it had everything we needed, whether we wanted to cook a nice meal or simply relax in the evenings after a day of exploring. Our host, Antonella, is exceptional. She proactively provided us with a wealth of helpful tips, which truly enhanced our stay in Rome. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

Apartment as per listing in every way. Nedim was very responsive and attentive to my requests and questions. Very good location close to the metro to get to the center of Rome quickly. A little noisy environment but it's normal for a city center. Thanks to Alissa and her mom for their warm welcome.

Absolutely everything was amazing! Alessandra is an amazing host with so much love and knowledge of her apartment and the city. She made us all feel at home straight away before we even stepped inside. We are a group of 6 ladies on a 7 week European holiday and Alessandra made our stay in Rome a very memorable one-we will be back ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕

Thanks Luca and Alessia for their hospitality. We really liked the flat and its location. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with a child, we felt at home. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, the neighbourhood is quiet and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

Very nice place, I would absolutely stay there again. Plenty of amenities, much quieter than central Rome. Good coffee shop and restaurant across the road.

The apartment was quite close to Termini station. Nicola received us and gave us some guidance. The site was spacious and with all amenities described in the listing. Everything was perfect! We felt like home! Nicola was also flexible at check out and we thank you very much for that.

Very great area that is perfectly connected. I have been to Rome several times and would always stay at Jochen's place. The neighborhood is really great, you can get to the bus super fast to go downtown, has shops, bars and great cafes right on the piazza around the corner - Testaccio is a real dream! In the apartment, everything was also in order and clean :)

It was perfect, very close to the Colosseum and other tourist attractions. It was right in the center. Alessandra was always very kind and very responsive.

My sister, brother in law, and I arrived in Rome before a 9 day cruise from Civitevecchia to SouthHampton. Gio was an amazing host who met us onsite as we arrived in Rome. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He let us check in early and because he knew we had never visited the city before gave us a map and information on the busses. The condo was very clean and we felt safe and relaxed here. The condo was the perfect distance from the Vatican and the Colosseum. We had such a lovely stay and cannot wait to come back again. Celeste was a lovely host and attentive to us. The accommodation is very well located, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped and suited to our needs. there was a peeler and a fine-hole strainer, as well as effective kitchen knives. There were herbal teas and ground coffee for Italian coffee makers. The bathroom is also comfortable and there were all the products like soap, shampoo, moisturizer in a nice container. For the sensitive: the curtains on the windows are not opaque but it suited us. During our stay, we heard the neighbors a little. The atmosphere of the place suited us very well.

Mara was an incredibly gracious host who accommodated our late check out and made it feel like home. She was very responsive and went as far to make a reservation for us on our first night there. The place was clean and she gave a full tour. The place had two balconies perfect to sit and enjoy the neighborhood. The place is walking distance to the Tram 8 which takes you to Trastevere, a foodies dream location, and the metro down a few streets. There are little markets all around for fruit and snacks if you need. A great place to stay that is away from the tourism hustle and bustle but close enough you don't waste time commuting to any and all the sights. Would 100% stay here again.

Super location - lots of fabulous restaurants within a 10 minute walk. 1 block from Santa Maria Maggiore. Close to train station. Very nice 1-bedroom apartment. Host met us - let us in and explained apartment and surroundings. Very easy to communicate with.
