Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Monti, Rome

Absolutely loved our stay at this 3-bed- 3-bath apartment in the historic center of Rome! The location is unbeatable, steps from iconic sites (Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore and Piazza Venezia to name a few) great restaurants and vibrant piazzas. The apartment is spacious, impeccably clean and stylishly decorated with modern amenities. Each bedroom was large and comfortable, and the three bathrooms (a rarity in Rome) made our group's stay so convenient. The host was responsive and provided great local tips. Perfect for exploring Rome's history and culture. 5 stars, would book again!

Vincenzo's maintain an open communication and make sure we were find at all times. The place is neat and walking distance to the Vatican, restaurant and supermarkets. It was a good experience!

Nathalie was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with. She welcomed us upon arrival from the airport and gave us a quick tour. The place was clean with a lot of space and a comfortable/spacious bed. WiFi was good and the bathroom simple. There was a sizeable kitchen available if guests want to cook, and a good sized outdoor patio area to take advantage of. The area is extremely walkable (10 minutes north of The Colosseum and 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain). There are plenty of great restaurants within minutes, including a fantastic one right across the street called da Robertino. The main draw backs are the noise. The area is quite lively and vibrant, with a jazz bar right underneath the bedroom windows. It’s also worth noting that the property is upstairs with no elevator (two flights of stairs) and could be a challenge for someone less able bodied with large suitcases. If you’re looking to feel immersed in the lively heart of Rome , this is a fantastic spot!

Hands down the best Airbnb of my Europe trip so far. It feels so much like home that you barely want to leave and explore Rome. The hosts are incredible. Both are friendly, responsive, and put a lot of love and care into hosting. I was greeted personally and shown around as well as given a specific dinner recommendation since my day was long. The double bed is very comfortable, the shower is nice, and I appreciated the balcony. This is everything you’d want in a luxury hotel but in a private home. It is very secure, in a private building. The walk to the metro wasn’t bad- maybe 10 minutes. I definitely plan to stay here anytime I’m in Rome or recommend it to anyone I know who is visiting.

Andrea's place is spacious, functional and pleasant. The terrace is nice. Andrea cares about the well-being of her hosts. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. We parked our car at the bottom of the residence, it was convenient.

This apartment is very nice and clean and has a really nice and big balcony. The kitchen has everything that you need in a kitchen, a nice and clean bathroom and there is a lot of space in the rooms. Everything works fine! It is quiet in the evening and night, which was really nice after spending the whole day in the center of Rome. Maurizio who manages the place is very friendly and helpful - he answered our questions very quickly and he was there to say welcome when we arrived and he was showing us everything in the apartment and told us how to go to the center and so on. I will recommend this apartment - thank you for a very nice stay!

We loved staying at Serena’s place! It was our first time in Rome, so we didn’t really know what to expect, but we found all the positive reviews about this property to be entirely accurate. The location in the Monti neighborhood was perfect! There was so much to do that was just steps away from our little home for the week. Serena was always responsive and would consistently send us recommendations. She was an incredible host and you won’t regret your stay here!

Enjoyed our stay here, clean, spacious and convenient having the tram and buses a short walk away. Quick food options available nearby too. Perhaps a bit far from central Rome if you’re using transport and planning to do every day but I booked knowing it was further out. Free street parking too.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Daniela’s house! She was present in person to hand over the keys. The house was well kept and beautifully decorated. It was very spacious and had private parking spot. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. The place was well connected to the city centre by public transport. I highly recommend this place if you’re travelling with family.

This is a lovely place. Despite being in a cultural hub beside the Pantheon, the bedroom in the apartment is totally silent. Comfy bed too! Everything in the apartment was well-maintained (good kitchen, good bathroom) and Lucia is a great host!

We stayed there for four night and what a super cozy place !! Fabio is also very responsive. The location is a bit far from the tourists hotspots which we actually wanted. There's a pizza shop right across the street which had delicious pizzas. The Supermarkets are also very nearby.

Lovely apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was very nice to receive a compliment from the host, it is very rare. There is a lovely pizzeria supermarket in the area. For all questions, we were always answered quickly.

Stefano provides services beyond expectation. Unfortunately, my last stay my daughter get sick (not because the accomodation). Stefano helps me with getting the doctor which other will not do it.

Fabrizio’s place was great, easy check in and check out. We had to check out early but Fabrizio was accommodating.

Stefano was very accommodating. His home was lovely. It was exactly what we needed for the time spent. Will definitely stay again.

An unforgettable stay in a cozy , beautiful home I had the pleasure of staying at this absolutely charming Airbnb, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I felt right at home. The place is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor space. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening, the patio area offered a peaceful retreat with beautiful views. It's clear that the host has put a lot of thought into every detail, from the decor to the amenities, making this a perfect getaway spot.

Everything was great. Fantastic location, especially if you have a car that needs parking whilst you’re in Rome. The train station is just outside so you can quickly get round and the Vatican is approx. a 10 min walk. We stayed for two nights and the first night just walked around the city and brought a pizza back home. Everything was super close and the location felt really homey and safe. Iris is a mega-hostess and is always a message away and ready to help you out. Thanks Iris!

Everything went great! The place was clean and as pictured. The only accommodation is on the ground floor (it is also the last floor in this building), the door and window is the entrance group near the apartment, there is a sofa in the kitchen and it will be very light in the morning and it can be noisy from people passing by, keep this in mind. There are not enough slippers, very cold floors, it's also good to have pillows to choose from, the current ones were very high and a child or a person with a sore neck may not be suitable. Overall, everything is great, very responsive hosts, not a bad neighborhood.

Everything was great. Gabriele was great host - not invasive, always ready to respond fast and clearly. The accommodation itself was great and the terrace is amazing - everything as described and as on photos. The parking is on the street but free, and most of the time you have an available parking space, but there is a metro station near so you don't have to use the car so often. The location is good and safe and all the people near are nice and friendly. We would definitely recommend the place and would come again.

Very cool place. New equipment and big screen smart TV. Everything is very clean. There is underfloor heating in the accommodation, but unfortunately the floor is cold right in front of the toilet. Maybe that's the only negative. The owners are very nice.

Great apartment with terrace on the ground floor. And with garden where there is also a large lemon tree. There are mosquito nets in front of all the windows and garden doors. Great! Plus the central location a few hundred meters south of the Vatican. Perfect for exploring Rome. We will gladly come back. PS. Dear Anna: The grid in the kitchen is easy to open by two turns clockwise. 😉😁
