Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Monteverde

I REALLY enjoyed my stay at anibal’s, he was super friendly and always responded quickly. Amazing AC blasting inside, comfy bed and pillows. The place was in a great location in walking distance of stores and tasty restaurants. His dog benjy was the highlight of our stay he was super adorable.

What a location! Fantastic view over the lake. The apartment is very stylish, modern, spacious, very clean. We wish we would have stayed more. It’s pricey but worth it!

It's a wonderful place to stay more time than the one we chose. It's a quiet place, with a great scenery and lots of wildlife. I will recommended for a week vacation away from everything.

I will definitely come back when I return to the area, the view from the balcony is stunning... direct view of the lake.

The gated community on the hillside overlooking Lake Arenal was a beautiful and serene setting to spend our time in Costa Rica. The room we stayed in was separate and private. We left the windows and screen door open, and the breezes kept the room cool enough where we never used the air conditioner. Listening to all the birds and surrounding wildlife was all we needed to feel relaxed for sleep. The location is on the outskirts of the closest town, so one word of advice is to get groceries before you get there because once you're there, you won't want to run back into town due to the last couple miles of unpaved road.

This condo is in the most beautiful location, perfect view of the volcano from the balcony!! The space was clean and comfortable beds and furniture. Fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom with large jet tub, and in suite washer and dryer. The host had great communication. Responded quickly late in the evening to our booking request to let us stay in his beautiful place, saving us from the original nightmare Airbnb be booked for that night! I can’t thank the host enough for the responsiveness and the truly wonderful condo right on Lake Arenal!! P.S. Completely ignore the person that left the low rating review about this place. The person should be ashamed to leave a low review for such an incredible place!

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

The apartment itself is spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Whether you’re here for adventure or relaxation, this place is the perfect base. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Gregory's place is very nice and spacious. We are a big group with 6 families and stayed at Gregory's property for 5 days and had great time. He took care of our group from the moment we booked Airbnb till we leave property. He is always available on phone and helped us during our stay. His property was one of the nicest property I have seen with huge trail overlooking mountains and we can enjoy fresh fruits like coconuts etc... His staff at the property are very nice and was available to us all the time. Its a huge property with multiple Condos and I recommend this property to anyone ranging from 1 to 10 families.

Very clean! Host was so nice. Kids loved the pool. The host had wonderful local recommendations! Pool was clean. House and bathrooms were clean. Beds are firm, which we love!

Very excellent place recommended. I felt right at home, well, much better because where I live there is a lot of noise and there you could hear nature, the night was very quiet. I could sleep better than at home. What you see in the photos is the reality. Spacious. Orderly. Large and clean pool. Very attentive to everything. The host. There were a few small issues but he solved them. Yes, I recommend checking in early from 12 noon to 3 pm and checking out late at 12 noon because due to the weather and location you can't use the pool much. The weather in Costa Rica and where the accommodation is located is essential And the host was very friendly, he gave us a little more time since it was raining and we couldn't do anything outside, and the day we left it was sunny, so we stayed a little longer I left it swept and washed and almost everything in the kitchen tidied up Really the best option to relax. RECOMMENDED

We had an amazing time at Jorge's home in the La Fortuna area! We were there for 2.5 weeks with two families (4 adults and 4 kids in total). The home was excellent for our needs. We preferred staying a bit out of the main tourist areas so we could enjoy some more local vibes, and Tanque was perfect (we had a rental car, and that is pretty necessary to get around in this area). Thank you Jorge for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home!

The four of us had a wonderful stay at Paradise Ranch. The location was just right to drive to either Arenal Volcano or Monteverde Biological Preserve. The view of Lake Arenal was outstanding, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife. Our local host Kristalin was very helpful to greet us and answer any questions that we had. The place was clean, well equipped for cooking dinners and stocked with fresh fruit. My only suggestion is that the driveway is very steep and I would recommend using all wheel drive, which we had anyway. I would recommend renting this place anytime.

Mary is a super friendly and helpful host. The place is very nicely decorated and very well equipped. Mary really thought of everything. Everything was very clean and the location is also great. We were very pleased and can absolutely recommend the place.
