Cabin vacation rentals in Monteverde

Very nice Airbnb that is beautifully furnished with love. It has a nice big terrace where we loved to have our coffee in the morning. Perhaps you will get visited by a cat or a dog from the neighbourhood. Both are really adorable and we enjoyed chilling with them. They are not aggressive in any way. It was a bit difficult for us to find at first, but our host helped us very quickly. Once we arrived, we immediately felt at home. The only small drawback: The neighborhood is a bit remote from the town center with all the restaurants, which means you have to take the car every time to get somewhere. But that wasn't a big problem for us. However, we did not feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any point. To sum it up: We fully recommend this place and would live to come back.

Our stay at Villa Calibri in Refugio Verde was wonderful. We were only able to stay 2 nights but it was beautiful. This home has a back garden and plenty of walking trails. It is right across the street from the sloth night tours. Speaking of tours and transport, Elvis and his team made certain we had all the help we needed. The home is spotless and the way the villa is separated was perfect for our party. Definitely stay with Elvis when in Monteverde!

We had a family of four and stayed in Monteverde for 2 nights here. The airbnb was easy to find with the clear instructions from the host and place was very clean. It is just a few minutes drive from all the restaurants and shops and next to a night tour as well. The kitchen was well furbished and we were able to cook a meal and drink some wine in the comfort of the airbnb. The host was very responsive and had great suggestions and also offered to book tours for us. We would definitely come back!

Magical honeymoon escape in Monteverde! This place was absolutely perfect for our romantic getaway. Tucked away in the lush cloud forest, the cabin was cozy, beautifully designed, and felt like something out of a fairytale. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying our coffee with those stunning views. The privacy, peacefulness, and charm made it an ideal honeymoon spot. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Monteverde is such a special place, and staying here made it even more unforgettable. Highly recommend for couples looking for a dreamy escape!

Jose was a host who went above and beyond at all times! Since I made the reservation, he made sure to let me know everything I needed to have a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I slept wonderfully in the large bed in the place, with the comfortable pillows it offered and the ideal blankets for the weather we had. In addition, the jacuzzi was a great addition to enjoy our trip to Monteverde even more. With a car it is much easier to get to the place, and it comes with everything you need to have a great time near Monteverde. I'd love to come back!

Incredible place to stay near Monteverde. The pictures don’t do it justice - this was such a beautiful location and view. A quiet, safe, relaxing spot to watch wildlife off the back deck, or see distant lightning storms as you fall asleep in the comfortable bed. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was the most beautiful view I have ever seen from a house. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice view of the mountains and Pacific Ocean. It was the perfect honeymoon destination. Excellent host!

Great stay in Monteverde. The location is beautiful and close to everything while also being very private and quiet. We enjoyed the trails right out the back yard and the STUNNING view from the patio. Juan was very helpful and when I forgot an item, he was prompt and helpful to get it shipped back to me at my next location. 10/10 recommend!

Luis was a great host that went out of his way to help us when we had car troubles. His home is really cozy with an amazing view. The mattresses are firm and comfortable, and the shower had great pressure and really hot water (rare and so appreciated at airbnbs in Costa Rica). Thanks again Luis, we will come back when we fix the car 😆

great location with surrounding forest. once we figured out location, everything was relatively close. great night walk next door and sloth garden just a few min away. the house will be ideal for a couple. for our family of 4 it was a good option to stay 2 nights.

Ernesto’s place was very close to everything and still very private. It was a beautiful and peaceful place for us to explore Monteverde. We were able to do some bird watching and see a lot of active wildlife just from the front porch! Ernesto picked us up from the bus station and was very communicative and proactive throughout our entire stay. The only thing to mention would be that it can get noisy when it rains and when the wind blows, but that cannot be helped. We loved our stay and would come again!!

Great spot in Monteverde. It’s only a few minutes from the town center but the house is 100m/yards off the road so it is still nice and quiet. Perfect for couples, close to amenities and activities, private, and has a very homey feel. If you’re debating between this place and a few others, just book this place.

Edith was a wonderful host and was very welcoming. We enjoyed visiting with her! Her animals and family were sweet too. We walked into town at least twice a day from Airbnb, you don’t have to worry about finding a parking spot as you leave you car secure inside the gated yard. We would definitely stay here again as we want to explore this area more.

Nice place to stay in Monteverde! Excellent accommodations and lodging space. We opted for the additional breakfast in the morning which was delicious before our tour in the Cloud Forest. Would recommend to anyone staying in Monteverde!

Our family had a wonderful time. Highly recommend if you want to experience the Monterverde area. This location is close to everything but yet you felt like you were in your own private space. Our kids loved exploring the area around the villa with clear trails and got to see a lot of natural wildlife, birds, monkeys, etc. The people in Monterverde where friendly and we loved walking around town to visiting local restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again if we are back.

EL SOL is extraordinarily beautiful! It's hard to describe how special it is- the gorgeous natural surroundings, the wonderful food, the unique and refreshing pool and the beautiful mountains surrounding the area. I could have stayed a long time and regret that our stay was so short. Thank you Susanne and Javier for such a wonderful time and the attention and love you have put into EL SOL! We will be back!

Gloriana was super kind and sweet. We also made a tour around the organic coffee plantage of her family and could not only learn about their traditions, but also about Costa Rica culture and food. Would absolutely go there again!

Josh and Yer’s place was cute and comfortable with a beautiful view. The location was close to all of the sites we wanted to see as well as being close to town. Josh and Yer were very responsive to all of our questions.

We had a wonderful stay at the Magic House! The property is private and cozy, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The fireplace is absolutely beautiful and created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made our evenings extra special. Watching the sunset from the house was a breathtaking experience. The combination of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!
