Cabin vacation rentals in Monterey

The tiny cabin was exactly what we needed to sit back and relax for a couple days. The sheets and bed comforter where like sleeping on a cloud. The backyard oasis was spotless secluded and oh so peaceful. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.

Tranquility Base…surely lived up to its name. So comfortable, so charming we felt like a part of the forest. The whole place had so much personality we felt right at home Magical and enchanting getaway Highly recommended We’ll be back

Hands down the best Airbnb we've visited. Very secluded and gorgeous property. The property is special and well-appointed. We loved the private beach. A great getaway from the hustle and bustle. Emkay was extremely friendly and helpful. They worked very hard to make this area a great stop on the journey. The unit was small and cozy, but it had everything we needed. We'll be back again.

Fantastic place with a stunning view of the beach, incredible interiors, and amazing taste. The front and back gardens are beautiful, the kitchen is super well-equipped, and the beds are absolutely perfect. I highly recommend it – Ann is super kind and responsive. Oh, and by the way, the two most beautiful palm trees in the neighborhood are right in this garden. Don’t hesitate – just come, it’s a no-brainer!

Had such a great time staying in the Jazmine cabin. It is quite small, but expected. There are so many things to explore and see within walking distance and food is a 5 to 10 minute drive into town (I fell in love with the small town of Soquel). Emkay and Lara were amazing hosts, it's a bonus they live on the property. Which by the way is so zen and beautiful. I can't say enough about the "beach" area, it is so peaceful. Emkay and his family were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We took our 2 little dogs and they had a blast exploring the property. I will be back. Sarah’s place is very private and quiet. We all enjoyed our stay. The road to the cabin takes some getting use to, but we all managed it ok. I would advise guests to limit their trips to and from if they can… there’s no “corner store” it takes some time to get in and out, but it’s worth the peace

We loved our stay!! Beautiful property, everything about it is so wonderful. The kitchen is fully stacked, there’s plenty of space, the hot tub was very relaxing. We were having trouble with the AC in the room with the television. But we also didn’t reach out to the number that was available, so maybe try that if you are having problems. Everything else was so amazing, we definitely recommend staying here!

Cozy cottage indeed. We enjoyed our stay at Saddle Mountain. Facility was nice and felt like an upscale camping experience. Hosts were kind and welcoming.

Cute glamping site with plenty of things to do! We stayed in the cabin with our family of 5 plus our dog. It was clean, had everything that we needed, and was close enough to town and the wineries.

We really enjoyed our stay! The surroundings are beautiful and the cabin is so cozy. Would go back with more time to enjoy the pool and sauna and explore the trails.

The Lavender House was absolutely charming! Just 20 minutes from the beach and less than 10 minutes to downtown Los Gatos, the location was perfect. We loved waking up to the peaceful sound of nearby horses. It was also super dog-friendly - our pups loved the porch that opened directly into a fenced yard, making potty breaks a breeze!

Very nice place, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Host was very nice, quick to respond and took care of everything we needed. Very beautiful area surrounded by redwoods and very private. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Brookes home was great! The space was incredibly clean and comfortable. We felt very comfortable and safe. I wish I could have stayed longer, but the space was beautiful outside even after the storm. We had a small hiccup trying to get the lock to work, but Brooke was super fast with her response & helped us get in quickly. 10/10 would stay again!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful wooden retreat! The property is even more charming in person and very thoughtfully designed with a cozy, rustic feel, yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with love. From the well-stocked kitchen, all toiletries and comfortable bedding to the fast Wi-Fi and relaxing outdoor space, every detail made our stay feel easy and luxurious. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall sense of relaxation, making it a perfect escape. We even celebrated our daughter’s bday and got some amazing personal photography in the house. Caleb was very friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and stylish getaway.

The home was amazing, and the surrounding areas of trees and wildlife was amazing as well. We listened to the birds in the forest and the last morning got to see five dears drinking at the stream. It was breathtaking.

Quiet peaceful place! If you are looking for a log cabin in the woods this is the right place. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to explore Santa Cruz (about 10+ minute drive) and then come back to the cabin for a quiet relaxing evening.

Really enjoyed our stay!

The Cabin was incredible! Breathtaking views and fully stocked game room for kids and those young at heart. The bedrooms had good quality beds and linen. The bathroom was clean and modern with a large quantity of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to cook delicious meals. Ernesto was proactive in communicating and alerted us when we accidentally turned off the timed lights outside. Our family of 12 had memorable moments in The Cabin during our stay in the Fall, and we recommend it to anyone wanting to have the ‘cabin in the woods’ experience.
