Beach condo vacation rentals in Monterey

This is a beautiful place, right on the ocean, with beautiful views. So well equipped with everything you need. The gift food basket with local products and well stocked pantry was very welcoming. So many products in the bathroom and even extra towels and linens if you need them. Also was stocked with laundry supplies. Szuszi, the host was very responsive and proactive. Like many places right on the ocean, it did have a musty smell. This was fine for us, but may not be for those that are sensitive. We loved being able to walk along the beach and also around the nature preserves. It was a short drive into town and we enjoyed the recommendations left by the host for where to get groceries, get food, and local sites. We would definitely stay here again.

Oh, the views!!! I rented the space for family from out of town. They were over the moon. The location ‘right on the sand’ was incredible! That’s what you’re paying for. The home itself could be amazing with a few updates. A beach property will never feel clean with carpet. Just that simple change would make the home feel updated and bring more value. There is no light on the balcony, so bring a lantern if you enjoy sitting outside after sunset. Furnishings are dated but comfortable. Overall, the week with my family so close was the best thing I could ask for.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay! The pictures didn't do it justice - all the upgrades were well worth it and my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. My was very responsive and helpful. So glad we found it! Would definitely stay there again.

We have been renting Airbnb properties in Capitola for years. This unit was by far my favorite. Absolutely everything was perfect. The place was immaculate and so well outfitted. I hope to come many many more times!

Jennifer’s Capitola Breeze (Unit B) is perfect for family gatherings and vacations. Absolutely convenient location for walking downtown, shopping, restaurants and beach access. Convenient garage parking. Condo includes amenities in every room. Jennifer (Host) provided detailed instructions and information that made us feel at home. She was responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. Definitely a gem of a place to stay!!

My husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary and it was such a beautiful place to stay! Supper cozy and romantic! Even better in person than the pictures! All of the large windows overlooking the ocean was so awesome! And you can go to sleep listening to the ocean waves! This place is literally right on the beach! Like steps away which was awesome! And only like 15 min drive from Santa Cruz! The check in & check out process was super easy which was great! We did have a problem with ants wanting to attack the kitchen but other than that we have no complaints! Thank you!

We stayed here with our 3-year-old son and all had a wonderful time! The unit we were in was exceptionally clean, quiet, and even had a small view of the ocean! The playground, pool, and beach were all right outside our door and were the highlight of our stay. Trader Joe’s and Target were less than 10 minutes away which was great too. It was a perfect spot to stay as we ventured through Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. Although, the condo was so relaxing we easily could have just stayed put the entire time! Would definitely love to come back! Thanks for being such a great host and for the excellent communication and quick responses!

All around great experience, location, hosts and stay. Very helpful and responsive hosts, and the onsite community association members were helpful, kind and welcoming. The unit was nicely updated, and it's unlikely you'll find a place closer to the beach. Close to the boardwalk to the north, and the aquarium to the south. Minutes to Castroville and what is easily one of the best Sushi restaurants in California. Recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It’s absolutely perfect and has everything you could possibly need. We were especially delighted to find chopsticks, which totally made our day since we were planning to have ramen and thought we’d have to use forks! The view from the condo is stunning, like something out of a movie, and it was such a treat to have easy access to the beach. Watching the sunset was one of the highlights of our trip. The host was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions for everything, from check-in and check-out to using the washer. The check-in process with the gate attendant was smooth and made us feel extra secure. Everything was super clean and thoughtfully prepared. We stayed at several Airbnbs along Route 1, and this one was undoubtedly the best. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying in the mermaid’s perch. We love it so much I hope we will be able to stay again! The place had everything we needed, so comfortable and welcoming and amazing view of the beach.

Beautiful unit. We had six people and were very comfortable. Great location. Like all places there, it’s a short walk to the beach. The beds were very comfortable! The front desk was very helpful during our stay. We enjoyed using the free equipment and appreciated their help when the coffee maker wasn’t working. Our only negative is that taxes were not included up front (nor mentioned in the listing when we booked) and we were asked for additional money right before our trip.

I don’t know where to begin. As soon as we entered the property, everything was perfect! From the beautiful decor to all the amenities one could need, she truly did an amazing job for her guests. I will definitely return to this house and bring my family with me. Thank you so much for the wonderful bar setup and for the flowers and cake for my husband. You will surely have more guests coming your way. I will always remember this visit; she even offered me an extra night, which was very kind of her. Annie is a fantastic host!

The place is at a great location. The resort has three swimming pools. The apartment is next to the North swimming pool. We can see the wave from the balcony and dining room. The kitchen is clean and have everything I need. We had a wonderful weekend with my family.

Kristina’s place was absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. Breath taking ocean views and a short 5 minutes down to the beach. Kristina was very friendly checking in with us to make sure our trip was going good and if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again !!! Great host great place and beautiful city !!

This was a fantastic place to stay!! The only odd aspect was an 8:00 pm curfew. Otherwise, it was very clean, well managed and comfortable. The view is amazing and the walk to the beach is 💯

Our favorite part was the walk to the expansive beach. The resort is very nice, and the condo was great.

Stayed with my husband and parents here for our wedding week that was happening in the area. The place was plenty spacious for 4 people! Much better than a hotel room would’ve been. Gave us quality time cooking in the kitchen and hanging out in the living room, enjoying the hottub & heated pool and the beach! The ocean view from the dining table and the front porch is STUNNING!! The place is nice, well kept, and has everything you need! Any small things that popped up, Patti was helpful and fixed right away! Would definitely stay here again!!

Had a wonderful time at this Seascape 1 bedroom unit. It has all the comforts of home plus an amazing view of the ocean. It was well stocked with everything you need. Tyler was very responsive when I needed help with the television remote control. Without a doubt one of the best places to stay in the area.

Amazing views and walk to the beach. Beautiful beach! Perfect condo with lots of great touches like the bidet, and cutco knives.

We enjoyed our stay at David's condo. It had a lovely view of the ocean, and was very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of information about amenities, and things to do. David is a great communicator & host. This is a ground level condo in the main building, so we heard workers using gas powered trimmers and power washing the building beginning at 9:00am in the morning. Luckily, David provides earplugs in the condo, which came in handy.
