Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Monterey Bay

Leah's place was exactly as described in her listing. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable to several shops, restaurants and parks. The backyard space is quite big and there is a beautiful large redwood tree centered in the space. The house had all the amenities mentioned in the listing and definitely had everything we needed for out stay. We will come back again next time we are in the area!

Perfect place to stay. Great for kiddos with a park across the street. Beach, boardwalk, shops and restaurants are all close by. We loved our stay here!!

Truly enjoyed our stay and experience at Dave & Lee's place. Incredibly responsive and friendly hosts. I was in town for the Big Sur marathon and received a TON of useful info from them. The house was perfect for our family with two small children (1 and 3 years old). The bed and pillows in primary were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking supplies. The house rules and checkout procedures were reasonable and easy. All in all it was a great Airbnb experience, and I recommend staying here on your next visit to the area. Thanks again!

We really enjoyed our short stay in Santa Cruz & this home was in the perfect location for us. Although not warm enough for beach weather, we enjoyed the sunset & views + a super close walk to the beach. Kids enjoyed the Boardwalk & that was also a short walk away. The house was adorable - so nicely renovated & decorated. Beds were really comfy - everyone slept well! The private & secure parking was a nice plus. We hope to come back & would definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfy, and conveniently located for our road trip to Santa Cruz and the coast. We walked to shops, the marina, and the beach during our stay. The large dining table was great for playing Yahtzee while Alexa served up our favorite tunes on demand. Al, the maintenance guy who lives next door, introduced himself the first day of our stay, gave us his card, and offered to support whatever we needed—but we didn’t need much. A previous guest left a broken corkscrew, and I could've called Al. Instead, I walked to Day’s Market Liquors & Deli and bought a $5 replacement, along with freshly made chicken tamales that were absolutely delicious.

Amazing stay at the Wave house! It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the location, it was close to everything. Greg was very helpful. This beautiful home was definitely worth it!

Our stay was short but exactly what we needed! Very quaint property complete with backyard chickens and rabbits.

House was easy to find with clear instructions on getting inside and locking the door. Liangliang was friendly and responsive during our stay with many great amenities. House was as in the pictures. 5 minutes walk to a park and the store were near by. Highly recommend it.

The stay was very peaceful and worth every penny. There was lots to do around the area and the place felt like home. The host are very nice and responsive. I look forwards to staying there again when I go back to San Jose

My family of 4 visited San Jose for a hockey tournament. This apartment/condo was 5 minutes from arena. Very convenient. Space was clean and perfect for our 3 night stay. We did cook and do laundry quite a bit; wished there was more pods for dishwasher and laundry, and a few extra trash’s bags. Other than that, stay was perfect and would stay again.

We had a great time at this Airbnb - good price, clean, lots of space - definitely worth booking if you need an affordable option in the Silicon Valley area

Well-stocked, simply furnished bungalow-type attached residence in the Seabright neighborhood, convenient to the northeastern residential sections of Santa Cruz and to supermarkets and natural food stores. Many new, easy-to-operate small appliances and good laundry set-up. Ample kitchenware and condiments. Quiet city surroundings, easy parking. Overall, staying at the unit (and interacting with owner) was a pleasure.

Convenient and comfortable stay. Hanna was quite responsive to requests. Felt like she went over and beyond to accommodate our needs.

A lovely comfortable place. Loved the decor and the great light from all the windows. Centrally located close to the beach, boardwalk, parks, and restaurants. The place was spacious and met all our needs. We will definitely return for another stay.

We had a wonderful short getaway at Sue’s place! The condo is just steps from the beach, pool, and jacuzzi. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the ocean breeze was very refreshing. It was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. We had such a relaxing time! So close to the beach, loved being able to walk out the door and be at the ocean. We could hear the waves at night. Sunsets were beautiful. The condo was perfect for us, had everything we needed! Great place to stay!

The beach was amazing, especially being able to walk out the door and only take a few steps to get there. The snack shop is limited but had some staples so it was definitely nice to bring some easy meals and we cooked most of them there. My had some basics there that made cooking easier (salt, oil, etc). Our two teenagers enjoyed having their own full bed. Stay here - great deal for a clean space.

The view from this property was extraordinary with amazing sunsets from the deck each night. The location was perfect to visit Santa Cruz one day and Pinnacles National Park the next. The host was very responsive. We’ll definitely save this to our wishlist.
