Mario ist äußerst hilfbereit und freundlich, schon während des schriftlichen Austauschs vor unserer Ankunft haben wir uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Er hat keine Mühen gescheut, Aktivitäten passsend zu unseren Nachfragen und Wünschen in der Gegend zu recherchieren, vorzuschlagen und sogar zu organisieren oder uns hinzufahren. Auch das (Restaurant-)Personal vor Ort hat uns herzlich willkommen geheißen, einen späten Check-in ermöglicht und war für jegliche Fragen ansprechbar. Der längere gewundene Weg in die Berge hinauf wurde mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick über die Landschaft voller Olivenhaine und Wälder belohnt. Wir haben das Angebot und Ambiente der Unterkunft mit Restaurant und Garten sehr genossen und hatten in unserem Zimmer alles was wir brauchten. Den Pool hätten wir im Sommer sicher täglich genutzt. Wir haben das Agriturismo außerdem als guten Ausgangspunkt für unsere Tagestouren mit dem Mietwagen erlebt (Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Mittelmeerküste). DANKE!

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

Five friends made to feel very welcome to this beautiful spacious villa with a lovely pool set amongst olive groves. The scenery that surrounded us was beautiful. Invited to Mark's villa who shared his knowledge and history of the olive groves which was very interesting and the hospitality received was first class (vino and yummy bruschetta's). This was the perfect place to stay and would highly recommend.

Un paradis sur terre. Une vue à couper le souffle. Et après votre journée, buvez un verre du très bon vin rouge accompagné du salami de la production familiale de nos hôtes en regardant le soleil se coucher sur la Toscane depuis la terrasse… un emplacement idéal pour rayonner sur toute la région, au calme et à 5 minutes de voiture de Empoli d’où vous pouvez prendre le train ( c’est beaucoup plus simple ) pour Florence ou Pise. Nous vous recommandons vivement les petits déjeuner sur place. Chaque matin il y avait des biscuits, gâteaux, tartes faits maison vraiment délicieux en plus de produits locaux. Et puis nos hôtes ont été incroyablement accueillants, serviables et de bon conseils. Sandra, Antonella Grazie mille ! A bientôt j’espère….

If you want a peaceful, Tuscan stay with panoramic picturesque views, then this is your place! We were welcomed with homemade cakes, bread, and wine! After a long day of travel this perk was so appreciated. Our stay was perfect! After a long day of walking and driving to either Lucca, San Giminagno, Chianti Classico or Florence the hot tub relaxed our achy legs. The beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. We loved this home so much that we hope to return with our families in the future! This home made our visit to Italy PERFECTO!

Super Unterkunft in Traum-Lage. Die Appartements sind schön, groß und sauber und die Gastgeber sind total nett, hilfsbereit und gut zu erreichen (auch auf Englisch) Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn man Städte wie Florenz, Pisa, Siena oder San Gimignano besuchen möchte und auch Vinci selbst ist sehr interessant (Leonardo und so) und nett für kleine Wanderungen (Olivenheine) Der Pool-Bereich lädt tagsüber zum Verweilen ein und die kleinen Sitzgruppen mit Traum-Ausblick sind perfekt, um den Sonnenuntergang anzusehen (am besten mit einem Glas Wein (ab Hof). Zwei Hofkatzen wachen außerdem unaufdringlich über die Anlage <3 Wir kommen gern wieder - wollen eigentlich gar nicht heim!

Wie im Himmel! Zwei wundervolle Wochen in der reizvoll spätsommerlichen Toskana, unweit von Florenz, Arezzo, Siena, San Gimigniano und den Weingütern der Chianti-Region liegen hinter uns. Und Rosano! Mit der besten Alimentari-Bottega der Welt und einer kleinen feinen zurückgezogenen Klosterkirche der Benediktinerinnen. Il Castellino ist ein wunderschönes und liebevoll betreutes Anwesen mitten in biologisch bewirtschafteten Olivenhainen. Ein Zuhause auf Zeit: der weite Blick in die morgendlich nebelverhangenen Täler, lange ungestörte Abendstunden auf Terasse, der perfekt temperierte Pool, die gut ausgestattete Küche, die superkomfortable Einrichtung, der Lieblingsplatz in der Hängematte zwischen alten Bäumen, eine Olivenöl-Führung von Remus und Marias unvergleichliche Torta ... wir kommen wieder!

We spent a delightful 2 weeks in the authentic centuries old farmhouse in classic rural Chianti. Simonetta and Giovanni were our warm and engaging hosts and they really ensured that we had an enjoyable stay. Simonetta was attentive to our day to day needs and was a fountain of information about the Chianti region and beyond. We were entertained by Giovanni as he showed us the farms own wines and olive oil. Podere Tegline proved an excellent base for us to explore Chianti and other places in Tuscanywhich were all in reach by car. We had an excellent experience made more enjoyable by the warm hospitality of Simonetta and Giovanni

Sehr zu empfehlen! Schöne, ruhige Lage. Sehr sauberes Haus und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.Der schöne Garten war gross mit einigen Sitz-und Liegemöglichkeiten. Herzlichen Dank an Gianluigi und seinen Vater!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt! Das Airbnb ist recht abgelegen und daher sehr ruhig. Für uns war es ideal. Gerne wieder!

Wir haben die Unterkunft von Giovanni zu viert (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (8 und 11 Jahre)) besucht. Die Unterkunft ist genau wie auf den Bildern dargestellt, nur dass es in Wirklichkeit noch umwerfender ist!! Die gesamte Anlage wurde liebevoll und äußerst geschmackvoll gestaltet und wir waren begeistert davon, welches Paradies Giovanni hier geschaffen hat. Es gibt mehrere Whirlpools und so viele Liegemöglichkeiten, dass immer Privatsphäre gewährleitet ist. Giovanni hat für alle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten Tipps (Restaurants, Wanderstrecken, Parkhäuser, ...) und man kann ihn immer ansprechen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder :)

Wir waren 3 Nächte hier. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Viele nützliche Informationen für Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Unternehmungen wurden uns von Elisabeth zur Verfügung gestellt . Vielen Dank und alles Gute.

We had a lovely holiday in Tuscany. The villa is surrounded by beautiful scenery with lots of day trip options nearby. We added on a cooking class with Raimondo and Viola (Nada's daughter) and learnt so much. We will definitely be making fresh pasta from now on! The villa is well equipped, and nicely furnished.

This Airbnb was an absolute dream. Perfectly located in the countryside, it offered incredible views of the surrounding vineyards and rolling hills—sunrises and sunsets were simply unforgettable. The property was charming, spotless, and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were warm and helpful, offering great local tips and making us feel right at home. It was the ideal spot to unwind and experience the beauty of Tuscany. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This was our second time at Il Vichiaccio and I hope it's not the last. In fact, this Airbnb is the entire reason we had Tuscany on our trip itinerary. Beatrice and Massimo are the most wonderful hosts in the world. Besides simply being great people to chat with, they are hospitable in providing some of their homemade wine and eggs. There's nothing more special than relaxing in the hot tub with the vineyard views and walking up the hill to dinner at Il Cavaliere in the castle. Our only complaint is that we did not see the kitty cat this time! She was our favorite host when we visited 3 years ago. Oh well, I guess we'll have to book again soon and try once more :)

Séjour magique chez Paola. Difficile de décrire en quelques mots toute la gentillesse dont elle a fait preuve avec nous, on s'est tout de suite senti comme chez nous. Paola est venue nous chercher en voiture à la gare et nous a accueillis avec une bonne bouteille de vin et de la pizza - délicieuse -, difficile d'avoir une meilleure arrivée surtout après un long voyage. Elle a été très proactive tout au long de notre séjour et nous a même emmenés une demi-journée dans le Chianti pour que l'on puisse visiter un vignoble car nous n'avions pas de voiture - nous n'en revenons toujours pas de sa générosité ! Elle est aux petits soins avec tous ses invités et sa propriété est magnifique, nous avons bien profité de la piscine et l'appartement est merveilleusement bien décoré et équipé. Nous recommandons fortement de séjourner chez Paola, la meilleure hôte airbnb que nous ayons eue. Encore merci pour tout Paola, vous avez été merveilleuse, et nous rêvons déjà de revenir ! Arrivederci! :)

wir haben es sehr genossen dort. leider konnten wir das schöne Schwimmbad sowie den Grill-Bereich nicht nutzen aufgrund unseres dichten Programms - wir müssen wohl nochmal kommen ;)

We LOVED outrstay here. First of all, Lorenzo was a fantastic host, communicative, available for every need, lovely to talk to. The property is incredible - a beautiful peaceful space to walk around, and some adorable cats to pet. Our favorite things about this space include: the gorgeous outdoor picnic setting for our meals, spotless kitchen with anything you need to cook, complete blackout and silence at night for a restful sleep and privacy. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany, as this is a great place to stay and a reasonable drive from main Tuscan sites.

Cristina's house near Siena is an excellent base for exploring Tuscany. Just 20 minutes from Siena, it's perfect for day trips to Florence, San Gimignano, or Chianti. A car is essential but ensures a peaceful, authentic experience. The clean, well-equipped house has a kitchenette (fridge, stove, washing machine) and AC. The bathroom is small but functional. Outside, there's a surprisingly deep pool and various spots for relaxing or dining. We were surprised by the poor connectivity - almost no phone reception inside and extremely slow internet with weak Wi-Fi. Cristina mentioned it's not for working, but we underestimated the limitation. The surroundings were mostly quiet. Cristina, though not on-site, was very responsive and helpful. Tips: The parking is 50-100m away; ask about unloading at the house. Bring extra toiletries for longer stays. Request the correct Wi-Fi password before arrival. Overall, an excellent choice for exploring Tuscany. We'd happily stay here again.
