La Casina di Elisa

Montecarlo is one of the most beautiful places I have visited. And where we stayed was beautiful, steeped in history and views across the town. We were greeted with a smile and welcomed with local olive oil and wine which was lovely. The restaurants are great, our favourite was Ca Sandra just by the apartment. Beautiful food and lovely staff. Montecarlo is a place to relax and enjoy Italy.

[Tuscan Luxury Apartment] Wi-Fi, Gym, Terrace

JennyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay in Montecatini. The apartment was more spacious than we thought it would be. Spotlessly clean, with all the useful things you need when you go away. The kitchen even had salt, pepper, olive oil and wine vinegar! We only brought hand luggage, so being able to use the washing machine and shampoo made our stay feel more homely. The beds were super comfy too. The hosts were great at responding to our questions. On arrival in Pisa, there was a rail and public transport strike, which left us stuck. Luckily the hosts were quick to message us a taxi number to pick us up from where the nearest bus could get us. Great location within the town, only a 2 minute walk to the train station and a well stocked mini supermarket. It was about 20 minute walk to the funicular railway. We also went to La Villa Resort (20 mins walk) which was 10 euro each to use the pool. A must with our two boys! Thank you to Rebecca, Paula, Fabio and team. We've had a wonderful time. 😊

Alessandro and Emmanuella are very welcoming and informed us about the sites to visit and others. The apartment is spotless and very clean nice place Close to Pisa , Lucca and Florence We spoke in French which is not insignificant for us who do not speak Italian Stay to recommend and if we have to come back in Tuscan we will go to Alessandro's.

The great apartment just between Pisa and Florence. We had a 3-day stay. There is everything in the house for a long stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.

Very scenic apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at Lucia and Sandro's apartment on the outskirts of Montecarlo, a lovely old little village within easy walking distance. The accommodation is exactly as described, with a marvellous panoramic view to the South. Lovely comfy bed, good bathroom with nice shower, roomy lounge to relax and a kitchen with a view - massive picture window. We were there to go birdwatching - there are many good places to see lots of birds within an easy 30-60min drive. We saw 23 species just while sitting on the terrace, (there is lots of lovely uncultivated habitat all around) and we also heard nightjar, tawny owl and a nightingale after it got dark. Great! Be sure to download the (free) Merlin app to identify them all.😊 Easy drive into Pisa for an unmissable trip to see the World UNESCO sight, including the leaning tower. Thank you, we had a lovely time.

[Heart of Tuscany] Pinocchio’s

JanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The accommodation was beautiful, clean, spacious, the car could be parked behind the fence in the yard. The equipment of the kitchen and other spaces was absolutely sufficient, we did not miss anything at all. The place itself is a little off the beaten path, but we expected that and it didn't bother us when traveling by car. We had a great time there and we were absolutely satisfied. Honza and Lenka
