House vacation rentals in Monte Rio

We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Maurine and the hosts of this AirBNB! This house is truly a gem and exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about this property- from the comfortable, homey setting to the beautiful landscaping and outdoor spaces. Directions and communication were clear and guest friendly. On behalf of the 5 of us, on our girls' getaway, we thank you all wholeheartedly and are already planning on returning next April! Thank you for sharing this truly special home with us. It was a perfect 5 star get-away from beginning to end!

This is a great place to stay for a few nights while exploring Healdsburg and Windsor wineries. The surroundings are beautiful and the swimming pool is pristine. Nilus was a responsive host, and we appreciated his hospitality and proactive communication.

Great place to stay! Ted and Michelle were great hosts. The house was perfect for our group - big rooms, spacious living area and kitchen, and the pool, hot tub, pool table and ping pong table were so fun. The neighborhood is also very walkable and close to some great little shops. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This Airbnb was AMAZING!!! My friends and i absolutely loved staying here. The location was great for the wineries we went to which were sterling vineyard and Caymus. The only downfall was the pool rules and hours, also no microwave in the home. Either way i would definitely book this airbnb again!

I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is, so we can rent it again sometime. :-) But it's that good. We visited over spring break with our daughters, eight and 11, and had one of the most amazing stays we've ever had at an Airbnb. The home, the land, the pool, and the local area are all 100% amazing. And the sunsets. You know how you sometimes stay at Airbnb's where you feel like the hosts did the bare minimum to qualify to list it? This is *not* that place. There is everything you need and more. Andrew’s house is spectacular. We had such a great time and there was so much space for everyone. The kids loved the pool and we watched the Warriors games in the pool house. The property landscaping was beautiful also. Andrew was a great communicator. I would highly recommend his place for a great getaway.

Great as always, this was our 3rd time and I know we will be back!

My wife and I were meeting long time friends and their adult daughter, everyone was delighted with this house. Not only is it in a great setting but everything is just right. From communication with Bill to his helpful guidebook to the very nice pots and pans we used to cook each day. The house is beautiful and is spotless throughout. The windows and doors are new and keep the space peaceful. There are (to my count) 10 separate seating areas outside, we used 9! Bocce ball was fun and we had dinner outside. The spa was the right temperature and simple to use. The furniture and linens were great. And the views perfectly framed…. Beautiful landscaping with water features and abundant olive trees and large mature trees. Gorgeous The only downside was that we had to leave. It wasn’t inexpensive but we certainly were happy with the experience for what we paid, I’d be more than happy to visit again.

Great spot! Superb communication took us right to this lovely, peaceful home in the redwoods. Occidental is minutes away and completely charming. The house had everything you need for a fantastic stay, especially the kitchen- everything is exactly where you'd expect to find it. Large spacious Great Room, spotless bathroom, great bed, and charming furnishings. This is not a spot for children or pets which was perfect for us. Our stay at Pelican Hill House was peaceful and the house had everything we could need. We especially enjoyed the art supplies, board games, books, and yoga mat. Spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable. This was a magical stay that allowed us to disconnect and recharge. I seriously can’t recommend this airbnb enough. I hope to return soon!

Megan’s place is a beautiful cottage surrounded by a vineyard with so much attention to details. There is a large bocce ball court with fruit trees around it, a good hot tub, and a genuinely warm space. Our family of 5 felt really comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We highly recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful, kid friendly - would definitely come back.

Beautiful location. House was built mostly of wood, which was very appealing. Clean. Hosts were very nice and responsive. Minimum 30 minutes from shopping and restaurants with mostly two-lane winding roads to get to the major highways. The views were beautiful as you drive especially seeing so many animals roaming freely and feeding on grass. The drive can be wearisome. Wifi on the bottom floor was sketchy when I needed to use zoom for business. Also, there were high winds when we were there in mid-May making it feel colder due to wind chill. Overall, I'd give the experience 4.8 out of 5.

This Guerneville retreat was peaceful and private. Just far enough away from the bustle of town. The river front is expansive, with a secluded beach area to take in the sunshine and relax by the water. The home was thoughtfully appointed with the comforts of home: extra linens, towels, river toys, life jackets, condiments and spices in the kitchen. It was easy to settle in and unwind.

Cozy place to retreat to for the weekend, nice fenced in yard for my dog (watch out for ticks in the area), and walking distance to the local beach. Great fully equipped kitchen and quiet peaceful nights of sleep. Easy drive to Armstrong Woods, our favorite!

A comfortable home and private setting within an established neighborhood. Just minutes to downtown Guerneville by car and the river is a short walk. The property is well maintained and thoughtfully put together. The hot tub is wonderful after a long day. I appreciate the quick responses to my messages and questions.

The place looked brand new and was the perfect spot to hang out in wine country. And Kim was a great host!

Beautiful comfortable house in a lovely redwood forest. Felt so nice being there under the trees. Amazing stay, right by the river and easy access to lots of great hikes and cute Sonoma towns. Loved the hot tub. Great host. Highly recommend.

We had amazing weekend in the house! The view from the deck is unbeatable and the location is perfect for swimming and so close to town! We would love to stay again!

A treehouse in the woods. Very calming, an easy place to relax.

Wonderful home! Clean rooms, Comfy beds, cool retro bathrooms, hot water always available. We (and the kids especially). lover the warm outdoor shower. The Kitchen is so well equipped but we made most of our meals on the grill on the back deck. We spent days watching and being on the river, fishing from shore, hot tubbing and grilling delicious meals. My 4 year old learned to ride a bike on their quiet street. We biked to Monte Rio beach and Lightwave cafe and skatepark easily (brought our own bikes). We saw a bald eagle and a harbor seal while we floated down the river! Thanks for a great stay, highly recommend. Important to know: all bedrooms have a sky light, that means the kids are up early. We enjoyed the early start, but if you dont then I suggest you bring blackout curtain or tent for the kids

Our stay was incredible, I truly could go on and on, but this place is a MUST SEE! Russian River is my favorite area and this place being walking distance to the golf course was amazing. Kitchen is so fun to cook in. We spent most of our time outdoors on the HUGE deck. Would absolutely recommend.
