Schöne Anlage mitten im Pinienwald mit dazugehörigem Restaurant, Café/Bar, Pool, Meerzugang und Parkplatz. Der Pool war jedoch sehr klein. Sehr saubere Wohnung mit eigener Küche und Terrasse, kurzer Weg zum Meer (inkl. Sonnenschirm & -liegen). Zwischendrin Reinigung und neue Handtücher inklusive. Ausstattung in der Wohnung an sich sehr gut - grundsätzliche Lebensmittel (Salz, Pfeffer, Öl, Essig) fehlten jedoch. Ein Mückennetz wäre noch optimal. Extrem freundliches Personal.

Il podere Di Maggio è un luogo unico in cui potersi rigenerare, immerso in un contesto naturale bellissimo dove puoi vivere a pieno il contatto con la Natura. L’appartamento è ben curato e arredato in stile rustico con dei tocchi etnici. Impagabile la veranda esterna dove puoi vedere scorrazzare gli animali del podere e anche i pavoni. I proprietari sono persone molto gentili e alla mano con cui è piacevole conversare e imparare notizie e curiosità del luogo. Noi ci siamo innamorati.

We had a great stay here. Quiet and private though not too far from the main road and the lakeside town of Bolsena. Wonderful pool with sunshade and sunbeds provided, amazing view over Lake Bolsena, clean apartment, comfy beds, lovely outside (if you want) eating set up, tennis court, table tennis, table football, gym, friendly welcome ... what more could you want. With regards to visiting the area, the location of Agriturismo Pomele is ideal - overlooking Lake Bolsena and very near lots of pretty hilltop towns. We visited Pitigliano, Sovana, Sorano, Orvieto, Bagnoregio, and of course Bolsena a few times. All really interesting towns with quaint streets to wander down, towers to climb, Cathedrals to marvel at and generally the odd cave or 2. Whilst driving around, you cross the border from Lazio to Umbria and also Tuscany, which is interesting as each area varies from each other a little. I always forget but a hint I'd tell myself for next time, is to pack a few mini 'essentials' for when you stay at AirBNBs such as this so that you don't have to go buying new stuff every time. Such as: washing up liquid, dishcloth, salt and pepper grinders, seasonings that you use a lot ... They provide tea towels and the other usual towels. Apparently you can buy Olive Oil and Wine from there which I wish we'd known before buying a huge bottle on the way. My fault as I should have just asked! Anyway, these are minor things really - just as an add-on! Thanks Clara and team - we hope to be back one day!

5 star all around. Great stay, great host and beautiful location. Bed was comfy and they even upgraded us for free. Thank you for the parting gift, a lovely bottle of local wine. Nico was so helpful and booked a new place for a dinner reservation for us each night. We had a nice wood fire each evening and the views were breathtaking. Book here asap.

We loved our stay in Monticchiello so much that we extended our stay! Beautiful, cosy apartment with comfortable bed and gorgeous views. Lots of restaurants and casual dining places to enjoy all within walking distance and the people of Monticchiello are charming and kind. The only thing to be aware of is that the village bar opens at 9am so you may need to bring some breakfast provisions with you if you are an earlier riser or pop over to Pienza if you have a car. Francesco is a kind, friendly and caring host who was always extremely responsive and accommodating. He is also an extremely talented artist. We highly recommend Francesco’s place and hope to return.
