Monthly Rentals in Mont-Roc

Traveling from the USA and making my way through the beautiful Côte du Sud, I decided to stop for a night at Karen’s place on my way north to Bordeaux, and wow, what a magical decision that was! The place is exactly as described, only better. It’s charming, peaceful, and surrounded by the kind of nature that makes you consider quitting your job and becoming a poet. Karen herself is a delight , equal parts chef, gardener, and hospitality wizard. She grows her own spices in the garden and somehow turns them into a dinner so good it should be illegal in at least three countries. She's incredibly detail-oriented, charismatic, and patient, like the kind of host who’d gently talk you through how to use a French coffee maker while you’re still jetlagged and mildly afraid of buttons. I only stayed one night, but I left feeling like I’d stayed with a friend. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay at Marion's. The listing is the same as the description and photos. I didn't see Marion but all her explanations by message + phone were very clear and detailed. This place was much more for us for the journey into the past that it inspired in us. Although of very good quality, we imagined that the bed was that of a grandmother, and that this place was full of stories and history. A little moment suspended in time, which allowed us to rest well and think back to all our elders who had fun in this type of place that has remained intact... We loved it. Thanks Marion.

Travel for one night only. Very nice gîte, as described, well-equipped. Quiet, ideal for families. Excellent host. Recommended!

Marie and Michel are adorable and very welcoming, the cottage is very clean and pretty, and the woods with the lake below are simply beautiful. A big thank you for this great stay ☺️
