Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Mission Bay, San Diego

Jeff and Amador have really done a fabulous job make this apartment warm and beautiful. And they were so pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. The building, and location were first class. The view of the church out the living room window was a plus!

The location is great; Balboa Park is right across the street, great restaurants and a market extremely close, and an easy walk down to the waterfront. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Tucker was extremely accommodating and flexible with check-in for us, which was greatly appreciated. I will say, however, that currently it’s not equipped for long stays, there is no cookware, although there are glasses and cutlery. Also, there is no independent lighting in either the living room or the bedroom; a couple of bedside lamps and a standing lamp in the living room would be great improvements. These issues didn’t take away from all the great features of the place, however, and I would absolutely recommend Tucker’s place for short term stays.

We had a great stay at Tatiana’s! We were a group in town for a conference at the Comvention center and it was the perfect location! We were able to walk to most activities and restaurants in the area! We also made a great day of the Padres Baseball game! The building felt safe in the city and the accommodations were everything we anticipated! I would recommend her place to anyone!

Charlotta was very helpful with the instructions and communicative. The apartment was perfect for our stay to watch the Padres play. Lots of walkable things to do. The apartment felt like home and was comfortable. Easy check in and checkout. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone you wants bay and city views.

Our stay was great! The apartment was clean, AC worked great, nice deck. Many amenities at the property to use- pool, gym, rooftop deck. Parking spot was great as well!

Everything was great, so many amenities in the unit AND the facility. Our grandson REALLY loved the arcade (all free) on the first floor. We enjoyed the pools and spas. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility. The BBQs were cleaned daily and spotless (like new) when used. We were in San Diego for baseball games at Petco which was right across the street! We will come again! Thank you Charles for making our annual family vacation 5 star!

We had a great stay! The view of Petco Park was spectacular. We would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay, location was perfect and within walking range of many restaurants. Only downside was finding parking, had pay for a nearby parking garage but other than that it was fantastic.

The place was super clean and exactly as described . check in was easy and everything we wanted to check out around La Jolla was only a seven minute to fifteen minute drive.

We drove down to San Diego from Palm Desert and with the car’s nav system we found it easily.Sergio’s entry instructions were perfect.A neighbor told us where to find the shopping cart to assist with the move in and told us how to get to Tourmaline Beach and the Surf Park. The building is great! 2 pools and a great spa. 3 gas grills and dining tables on the courtyard are a nice touch. Sergio’s unit is beautiful and comfortable for a couple. The bed is sooo comfortable. The building is pet friendly and there are quite a few dogs- all well behaved and leashed, but a couple like to bark out their windows but it not excessively. Sergio needs to add a Soundbar to the TV, a floor lamp to improve the ambient lighting and a tall dining table for two on the patio to enable Al fresco dining. We look forward to returning next year!

Stayed 4 nights with my partner and toddler and what a great place and hosts! By far the friendliest and most accommodating. Natasha made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed before check-in. Stellar communication during our stay and very responsive. The extra toilet paper and paper towels left on the doorstep helped to spot the apt too! We really appreciated the flexibility with our reservation. Asked for a late check out as our flight wasn't until 4 and Natasha was glad to help. This saved hours in the airport but most notably my son was able to finish napping which set us up for success on the way home. This stay felt more like house sitting for family/friends than a typical Airbnb. Only issue was trying to come/go with a stroller...didn't see a ramp or entrance without stairs, probably just overlooked it. Neighborhood is very walkable w/ lots to explore. Our last stop was the farmers market which was excellent too! Definitely recommend and would stay again!!!

Our stay was smooth and peaceful without any issues. The apartment looked exactly as in the pictures. The host is very responsive and willing to help. I would definitely be staying again when we visit San Diego.

It was great place with a full kitchen, which was very convenient. The location was great. Lots of restaurants around, 5 minutes from the beach front and etc. The only issue was that TVs in the room are outdated. It would be better to have a smart TV.

Amazing stay and phenomenal location near Pacific Beach! Volans Realty were amazing hosts and always extremely quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had. I would highly recommend this for any group looking to stay in San Diego.

if you're looking for a quiet neighborhood somewhere to spend with your family perfect place me and my grandchildren play darts ping pong cornhole board games and watch movies we were definitely entertained I will definitely keep it in mind for next time thank you John

Had a great stay at Laura’s place! The home was super comfortable with high end appliances and furniture, and it was stocked with everything you need. Not to mention some of the best views on mission beach! The garage was also super nice to have! Looking forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved this place!! It’s was spotless clean, spacious, quiet neighborhood (perfect for a family), and on top of it all, my kiddo loved the free snacks. The whole experience felt like a hotel, but obviously more spacious and comfortable. I would definitely go back and recommend!

Very beautiful house with many locations nearby to go hang out, the home itself was very cozy we would love to stay again

Amazing place and definitely would stay again! Central location, clean and cozy for a family of four and our kids basically lived in the pool and hot tub (supervised) when we weren’t out and about. Great host, felt like home and fully stocked kitchen.

The house is clean, spacious, and has great decorations. We find it comfortable to stay in Lawrence's house. The host was also very nice and called us to ask whether there was anything we needed to make our experience better. However, there are about 10 high stairs to the front entrance, which is not ideal for people who have difficulty climbing stairs or young children. It is not a big deal for us, but we do have a toddler, so we need to be extra careful to get in and out of the house. The kitchen would benefit from having an electric kettle, so getting hot drinks (tea, instant coffee) would be easier.

We had a great stay at Tina’s Place ! The location was ideal for getting around ! There was 11 people in our group ages 2-70 and we were very comfortable! We were able to walk to the beach ( about -10 minutes) as well as to restaurants, shops , bars, etc. the house was central enough to make a short drive to La Jolla, Coronado , Point Loma and of course downtown. In about 20 minutes. The beds were comfy and the backyard was spacious for kids to runaround ! We would definitely air bb again
